This is an excellent body shop. I brought my car there to get my passenger door fixed under an insurance claim. Staff was professional and respectful. It took about a week, but I think that was appropriate considering the time to order parts. In the end, the paint was matched exactly to the original color and the rest of the car. They also washed my whole car and detailed the interior. There was a slight mix up in the amount being charged under the insurance, but a quick conversation and that got cleared up easily. Nobody really wants to take their car to the body shop, but if you do need to, this is the one to use in Sonora. read more

Fix-it did a good job on the bodywork and paint, but failed miserably on backing up the work they farmed out to a local tire store. Basically, the tire store billed for an alignment but didn't do it. (Car pulled to the left like mad.) Then, they wouldn't actually do the alignment they billed for bc they claimed the tires were"flat-spotted" and needed to be replaced first. Fix-it actually left it up to me to get it fixed at another tire shop, then refused to pay for that work! Even though I had a warranty! They finally agreed only after I threatened to go to corporate Fix-it headquarters. And it still took a month to get my money. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I picked up my Tacoma today that has unfortunately been in 2 front end minor accidents. The 1st accident I brought to a different shop that left one side of the front end assembly sagging and all around was not very happy with the work from that shop. With this second one I brought it to Fix Auto and I am very impressed. The whole front end is in so much better condition than it was before the second accident. They fixed all the issues the last shop did not. The truck looks like it did when I bought it. They even fixed an electrical issue in the grille that the last shop neglected to connect after the repair. I am also very impressed that they also not only detailed the outside of the truck when it was done but the inside as well. I can't say I've ever had a body shop do that. I could not be more satisfied with the quality and speed of their service! I needed a panel installed on a handicap accessible van so it could be ready for a road trip to visit family in Colorado. They took a look and said they could squeeze it in if I left the van there for a few hours. They then gave me a ride home. Later that afternoon my van was delivered to my house across town. Not only was the panel professionally installed, to my pleasant surprise it was also washed and cleaned... ALL of this was done at no charge! It was a big job that required many parts. They scheduled me in immediately, and completed the entire job within two weeks. After hitting a deer on my way to Yosemite, I got towed (hour and a half away) to C and C. Christy took all my insurance info and was on the ready to line up a rental should my car need to stay. Clay had try car up and experts checking if I had any more damage. They took my car to Fix Auto Sonora and they contacted me directly at 8am the next day they were open. Following up on my car. Anytime I would call they were happy to be completely honest with me. When my insurance decided to total my car they worked with me because I live about a 8 hour drive away so not have insurance get my car until I could get all my things out of it and see it one last time. My mother and I recently was in a vehicle accident and her insurance recommended C & C auto body repair. After the car was completed we picked the car up and the fenders didn't line back up at all, the paint was the only good part. The worst part was the windshield. It has multiple waves throughout it. You can't even drive the car for 5 mins without getting a headache and makes it extremely hard to see the road especially at night. So we took it back to C & C to show it was unsafe and not legal and the owner told her too bad, treated her complete disrespect and said deal with it yourself. After talking with some friends come to find out this is the body shop in Tuolumne County you want to avoid. Known to do bad business and not have good customer relations at all. Took my Subaru for repair, left impressions in paint, the windshield and doors leaks, ripples in body panel, missing bolts, did not replace/put on any of the engine guards (that hold fenders to car!),left grease marks on headliner. When I took it back to get corrected, was told GEICO was cheap insurance and that they would not be able to fix their mistakes, wouldn't even fix the paint job with smeared paint/clear coat. This business does not stand behind their work at all, even had the state Bureau of Repair (BAR) look into it and they would not fix their mistakes even at his request. read more

We had our car fixed there during the holiday season of 2015, when it was finished they had it towed to modesto to be aligned and did not have the professionalism to inform me that I would need to pick it up myself from Modesto. The office person even told me that I could call myself to arrange a different drop off point, letting me know it was taken care of . I even had to call my insurance to verify they were getting paid on two different occasions, one being that they received the money for the tow truck.
