Tip Top was not my choice; I was referred here by my insurance company after I was T-boned by another driver. See photos of their work on my car. I was quoted $1,900+ to fix the back quarter dent and then to re-paint. When I got the car back, the paint job didn't look like it was completed and there was a definite line of demarcation between where they had polished and hadn't. It was as if they'd suddenly decided to stop polishing the paint job and weren't going to do anymore. The incomplete job looked like the car had a different back quarter, because of the difference in the paint job. When I asked them about it, they said there was nothing further they would do; that was all they promised for $1,900+. When I took the car to another auto body shop for their opinion, the other owner just shook his head and said that this was a sloppy job that no professional in his field would have done. Oh, and there was a still a faint visibility of the dent. The sloppy return of the car also had yellow tape still attached to the underside, as if Tip Top couldn't be even be bothered to properly remove all the tape and markers before returning the car to its owner. And it came two days later than promised (and no phone call to explain--I had to call them and ask, "So, what's up?") No reason at all to recommend this place. None.

We had some scratches on a back door and a good scrape on the front bumper. I went in and Joe looked it over, and he gave me two prices, best case and worse case. He said 2 to 3 days to fix. They fixed it in 2 days -- closer to the best case price, cannot even tell there was anything ever done -- looks just like brand new again -- Thanks Joe! BTW they also fixed the car when some guy backed into our bumper and made a real mess. They are reasonable, up front and do a great job. Don't be afraid to come here -- they will look after you "right"!! (BTW they are recommended by a number of insurance companies included TD Insurance -- maybe for a good reason!!! :-) ).

The time to repair the vehicle took very long based on various excuses they provided of their worker sick, injured etc. They took so long that my insurance coverage on the rental car ran out. They promised over and over again that they would cover any additional costs for the rental car because it was their issue that it took so long to repair. They actually called the rental company to let them know that they could invoice them directly for the extra costs. About 3 months after they finished the repairs, I received a letter from the car rental company that Bill's Midway would not return their many attempts to collect on the rental car costs and that I was ultimately responsible for the additional costs (they had my credit card as part of renting the vehicle). I too have reached out to Bill's Midway for reimbursement and they have not responded to me. This body shop stiffed me for just over $400 on the rental car because they couldn't repair the car in a timely manner, even after after promising that they would cover any additional rental car costs as a result of the issues they had during the repair of my car. Based on my experience and Bill's Midway actions to date, they simply lied and never had any intention of covering the costs. Added Comment: The work that Bill's Midway did was front end work. When we turned on our Air Conditioner (AC) this year it did not work. We had a local service station check the AC coolant and it was empty. They could not find a leak. I have to assume that during the repair of the front end that the AC was affected and Bill's Midway never refilled the coolant. In my opinion, not very attentive to details! Ripped me off on the car rental and now this. Stay far away from this repair shop!

I received the written estimate from the insurance company & the information that it was going to be a total loss. It is an older vehicle, so although damage was not significant, they deemed it a write-off. We decided to retain the vehicle & fix it. Once the shop knew we were retaining the vehicle we received a voice message telling us the repairs would be more money than quoted as there was likely "more damage to the vehicle" that they didn't account for. I went in to discuss this matter with them. Chris, the guy I dealt with was rude, unprofessional & intimidating. He would not let the me speak, he stood from his chair, in an intimidating manner, as he yelled at me, (at one point one of the guys working in the back came out to ask what was going on) would not confirm how much more money the repairs would cost & in the end threatened to send me a bill for the estimate they did for the insurance company. When I told him I would be writing about my experience at their establishment on social media, he told me he would sue me for slander. I would not recommend this repair shop. They get a 1 because I cannot give them 0. We have taken our car elsewhere, needless to say.
