My new, paid for, 2021 Hyundai Tucson was rear-ended by a Tesla in late September 2021. Sustained some panel, bumper, and exhaust system damage, and the blind spot monitoring system malfunction. Covered by the guy's insurance who hit me, and the damage came to a $7,500 repair bill. I cannot imagine what his bill came to because his Tesla was completely crushed front end hood and sides. Anyway, this accident is the only reason I learned about, and had to visit, Fix Auto. My initial encounter upon walking in the door was with service manager, Dan. He was awesome. Down to earth, able to explain how it all would work in easy to understand terms, professional, and exuded genuine caring. From start to finish, top to bottom, the company took great care of me. They made everything easy from the car rental, to the ongoing communication between us, they way the dealt with the insurance process and providers, and the handing me the final paid receipt. My car looks pristine. One would never know that it was in an accident. I have Fix Auto and Haslewood Hyundai lifetime warranties on all the work. Fix Auto took it to Hyundai for calibration of the blindspot monitoring system The only reason I'm giving this company 4 stars, and not 5, is because when I got my vehicle back, the blindspot monitoring wasn't calibrated quite properly. When I called to let them know, I was met with a response that was more than skeptical. The guy who took the call (not Dan) was stunned that there could have been a flaw in their work. Honestly, I prefer to be met with immediate openness that I have a legitimate concern instead of push back when I raise an issue. They missed on this point and it bothered me a lot. Anyway, I can recommend this place highly. They are on my insurance company's approved list. USSA has taken care of my needs for nearly 35 years and though they gave me a choice of approved collision business to consider, I'm glad I chose Fix Auto. Hopefully you'll never be in a collision, but if you are I hope that you are safe. And if the car is not totaled give Fix Auto the chance to restore it to looking and running like new. They were able to repair my car in the five-day week that was booked but not promised, and they didn't have to keep the car longer, which saved me rental cost. There was one issue with sensors not being properly programmed and that was corrected when I brought the car back in the next week. So I would recommend this business, but be aware that they can take longer than expected for any number of reasons. read more

Someone hit my car in a parking garage. I called Fix auto for a WRITTEN estimate and spoke to Julia. They gave me one to "repair" a rear quarter panel on my car. Called them and told them it needed to be replaced and to please update the written repair and sent them a copy of the estimate from safeco. They refused to rewrite the written estimate (laziness I assume) and just said they would go off the safeco estimate. Julia was very short and rude and not helpful, someone else called me from their shop to try and explain things, but they're not comprehending my situation and I got frustrated they could not understand I needed a WRITTEN estimate to send to safeco. I decided not to use them and move on. She was pushy and I would never have chosen to work with someone that does business like that or thinks it's ok to treat a potential customer like that. 5 min later I get an email from Julia telling me I was rude. LOL ok Julia. Maybe do what your customer is asking for or have a little empathy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR ANY REPAIRS. read more

I'm still waiting (3.5 weeks) for an Estimate from Calliber Collision. I gave up and took our fleet vehicle to Fix. I was greeted by great staff, estimator was on time, explained everything in detail. Before I returned to the office, the estimate was in my email. Incredibly impressed with all aspects. I stopped here on the recommendation of Les Schwab ... I needed an estimate for a super loud "popping" noise that my car door made every time it opened and closed. The estimator came right out and looked for a second. She went and asked a tech/mechanic to come look. He did so, immediately. Everyone at NKAR was so kind and extremely helpful throughout the time my vehicle was in their possession! I got in to a minor fender bender and took my jeep here per the recommendation of my insurance company and I am so glad that I did. They called me frequently with updates even if was just to tell me that my vehicle made it in to the shop and they were inspecting it. They had to take my jeep to the dealership to have some censors re-calibrated and I ended up having some issues with the dealerships customer service and they profusely apologized and reassured me that what the dealership said was incorrect. They were also VERY accommodating when it came time to pick up my vehicle after hours since I work in Seattle and couldn't get over there before the shop closed.
