They even took the time to clean and buff the discoloration and yellowing on my headlights which were not part of the estimate/damage report. My car was cleaned and detailed, it truly looks brand new! Priscilla in the office is very knowledgeable, kind, prompt, and thorough... Everything you're looking for in customer service! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. A MUST READ Took my car in at Palm Desert location in April 2021 for minor damage, was told 10 days. Then my car was stolen from the very unsecured lot where the assistant manager told me that they leave the keys in the car while working on them and must have left them in it. The BS I went through for the next FIVE MONTHS, without my car,I couldn't put on this site, weeks of BS. The worst was the thieves put small holes in the drivers seat and they kept trying to put some liquid repair kit crap on it and called it repaired. I finally gave them my extra upholstery from my full re upholstery job of both seats I recently had done. IT TOOK SO LONG I GOT A EMAIL ASKING FOR A REVIEW ON HOW THEY DID? 3 MONTHS BEFORE I EVEN GOT MY CAR BACK. Since getting my car back I've spent 300.00 to remove the overspray from unprotected areas of paint, sure I could have taken back to them but would you? Recently I found the antenna on top of car that they replaced was falling off, thank goodness it didn't rain. A place wanted 500 to fix so I took it back to them That's when I found out they didn't drop the headliner, as per recommended but instead decided just to pull the headliner down and shove their arm from back window area bending the headliner and NOT ATTACHING the headliner back correctly. That was enough so I took it back to them at Indio location per instruction from Palm Desert location. They assured me they would take it to a place in Cathedral City and back in 2 days. They fixed the antenna, for now, but said they took it to place for headliner. I have a hard time believing that the headliner place would do any work and leave it filthy with greasy oily mechanics hand prints all over it. When I went to pickup my car and saw it was more BS. I was not a happy camper The Manager told me they were done and weren't doing anything to fix it. And that she was the boss and that was final!!!!! Ask to speak to owner and was told she was the end of the discussion, not in those exact words. I have spoken to others who had used Indio Collision on 111 and were extremely satisfied with them and would highly recommend. I still have nightmares about this place. My car was damaged when I got stuck in a severe sand storm. David and Bree took such good care of me, they handled all of the insurance paperwork, kept me updated as the repair was being worked on. I got into a car accident back in May. I am now writing this just about two months later in late July. This is after three delays. What they originally told me was that it would be done at the beginning of July. Then after the time period that they told me my car would be done passed, they delayed me to the next week. This happened two more times after this and I still do not have my car. Then they stopped giving me any updates on the status of the car at all. They are taking advantage of my time and my patience. At this point, I can only assume that they lied to me multiple times about the expected finish date. They know I am 19, but I live alone and have been without a car for over 8 weeks now. Their service has been amateur at best, they continue to delay me, and they have not heard or addressed my questions about why the repair took so goddamn long. Took my car in on Monday, 10/26 for minor body work to front left fender. My repairs were covered by my insurance carrier. However, I had one issue I wished taken care of outside my insurance coverage. I called Fix 3 times on Tuesday and my husband called once. No one called back. I finally left a message saying I would like my window washing reservoir replaced while they were doing the other work & it would be convenient to replace at same time. I said I would pay out of pocket, & give me an estimate. Finally, on Thursday, 10/29, the office gal called & reported Hector told her they would replace the reservoir thru my insurance carrier, as it had been damaged as part of my accident. I had also requested to pay separate from my insurance for a detail of my vehicle. I received a call at 3:30 pm Friday, 10/30 my car was good to go. I picked it up at 4:30 pm & paid my deductible; however they did not detail my car. They said I could bring it back. Today, Saturday, 10/31, my husband filled the reservoir with window washing fluid & it ran out from underneath the car all over the garage! So...what did they replace and why did they CHARGE my insurance company for something that was not replaced? I'm really disappointed at the level of service and their lack of communicating. They do not give you current or correct information about the status of your vehicle because I had to drive an hour in a half three separate occasions because they told me my car is ready and it was NOT. I was referred here by a family member who had used their services and was very happy with their work. I took my '22 Honda Civic in because somebody hit me on the front right bumper & it needed to be repainted and the headlight replaced. They ended up keeping my car for a total of 3 weeks claiming there were backups due to the insurance but then I would call the insurance and they would resolve any issues right away. I had to be calling for updates since no one kept me in the loop and every time I did call, I was told something completely different; they weren't on the same page. The day they told me the car was ready, Bre called and asked me to come in at 11:30am and I agreed. Then I get a call back asking if I could come at 1:30 since paperwork wasn't complete yet, so I agreed. When I went to pick up the car, it still wasn't ready. Upon inspection we realized that there was a significant gap between the bumper and the headlight that had been replaced, there was overspray by the passenger side mirror and there was scratches on the hood and side of the car that were not there before. We brought it to their attention and at first Bre tried to say that it was because we had arrived 15 minutes early and she hadn't done the inspection yet but after a while they apologized and asked us to leave the car for an additional day so they can fix up the cosmetic issues so I agreed. The next day they called and said my car was ready we set up a pickup time of 3:00 p.m., I arrived at 2:00. The gap between the headlight and bumper had been fixed and some of the scratches had also been buffed out however there were swirl marks that were left on the hood and another new scratch and the overspray had not been completely removed we brought this up to their attention and Bre said it's because we were an hour early but I told her that she had already notified me that the car was ready. Again they asked us to keep the car and that it would be ready by the end of the day. I declined saying I didn't want to risk my car being further damaged. When I got inside of my car, I noticed that although they put down paper mats it was still very dirty with their shoe marks and more importantly there was a big shoe print on the side of the door as if it had been pushed or kicked open with their foot. At home, it took my nephew maybe an hour to buff out those scratch marks so I'm not sure if the detailer doesn't know what they are doing or if they were just being lazy at their job. All together I would not recommend this body shop. I have already notified friends and family of my experience and have had people tell me that although they were originally thinking of taking their car there they won't be doing so anymore.​ read more

I took my car to Fix Auto on a recommendation from my insurance company. It was left with them last Monday. On Wednesday they called and said it would be ready on Thursday. On Thursday they said the paint needed to dry so it wouldn't be ready until Friday. On Friday they were putting it back together and even offered to deliver it to me, but alas it wouldn't be done until Monday. Today, Monday, I went to pick it up, knowing that one part would have to be taken care of at a later date. I offered to pay half my deductible because the work was incomplete, but they refused and would not release the car to me unless I paid the entire amount. They had already received the insurance company's share. After much arguing I paid in full, but when I got in the car I got "Malfunction" warnings. Needless to say I left the car with them. Watch your wallet with this company. An issue arose over a billing error. While trying to resolve it, Fix Auto gave us several different conflicting stories about what they owed us back on our account. After the runaround for weeks, we went to their office to discuss it. While there, we requested a complete accounting. As we predicted, their computer showed the error right down to the penny we claimed. We expected that would resolve the issue. Instead, a week later (a week later than they said they would respond) they claimed that their central office in Cathedral City had "different" accounting than the local office in Indio where the work was done.
