Took our 2025 Infiniti QX-80 for an emergency repair, before our last 2036 summer trip . Sayra, Rick and the team made sure we had our vehicle back right on time. The vehicle was ready exactly when they said it would, even took the time to provide a courtesy full vehicle car wash, which was nice since our repair was limited to a driver side front lower quarter panel. I was impressed with the customer service, how clean the facility is, the communication and most important the quality of the work... truly.. truly impressed.. Again big shout out to the entire staff and technicians that make auto repairs seem something so easy!! I strongly 100% recommend this location as well as any of the other four locations across the desert. read more

I had an electrical issue with my turning ligh signal and Jazmin at the front desk was really knowledgeable to answering all the concerns I had over the phone. When I got there Rick helped me as a woman that knows nothing about cars both Rick and Jazmin made it extremely comfortable and welcoming for my car to be fixed. The worker that fixed my car was respectful and professional my electrical issue on the car was fixed in a timely manner. And the price was reasonable. They have a beautiful waiting area with AC and a coffee station. Overall i would definitely recommend my friends and family coming to Fix auto. Welcoming and professional service and experience. read more

I really couldn't be more pleased. A woman rear ended my car while leaving her parking space at McDonald's. I knew I was leaving town on July 1 so it was very tight to be able to get the car repaired in time. The Indio office of Fix Auto was incredible. They managed to get the car completely repaired in just five days and that counts two days of which were weekend. It's amazing when you find a company that takes such pride and what they do and tries so hard to accommodate the needs of the customer. read more

Did a stellar job on my Toyota!! The best possible expert and fair estimate from Rick and follow through with timely work done. Yuli in the office cannot be beat for her excellent customer service and timely communication throughput! Thank you both!!! Highly recommended!! read more

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. A MUST READ Took my car in at Palm Desert location in April 2021 for minor damage, was told 10 days. Then my car was stolen from the very unsecured lot where the assistant manager told me that they leave the keys in the car while working on them and must have left them in it. The BS I went through for the next FIVE MONTHS, without my car,I couldn't put on this site, weeks of BS. The worst was the thieves put small holes in the drivers seat and they kept trying to put some liquid repair kit crap on it and called it repaired. I finally gave them my extra upholstery from my full re upholstery job of both seats I recently had done. IT TOOK SO LONG I GOT A EMAIL ASKING FOR A REVIEW ON HOW THEY DID? 3 MONTHS BEFORE I EVEN GOT MY CAR BACK. Since getting my car back I've spent 300.00 to remove the overspray from unprotected areas of paint, sure I could have taken back to them but would you? Recently I found the antenna on top of car that they replaced was falling off, thank goodness it didn't rain. A place wanted 500 to fix so I took it back to them That's when I found out they didn't drop the headliner, as per recommended but instead decided just to pull the headliner down and shove their arm from back window area bending the headliner and NOT ATTACHING the headliner back correctly. That was enough so I took it back to them at Indio location per instruction from Palm Desert location. They assured me they would take it to a place in Cathedral City and back in 2 days. They fixed the antenna, for now, but said they took it to place for headliner. I have a hard time believing that the headliner place would do any work and leave it filthy with greasy oily mechanics hand prints all over it. When I went to pickup my car and saw it was more BS. I was not a happy camper The Manager told me they were done and weren't doing anything to fix it. And that she was the boss and that was final!!!!! Ask to speak to owner and was told she was the end of the discussion, not in those exact words. I have spoken to others who had used Indio Collision on 111 and were extremely satisfied with them and would highly recommend. I still have nightmares about this place. If you choose to use them it's at your own risk because you've been warned. Again there's more but you got the idea read more

The only thing worse than being in a car accident, is being in one right after your birthday in a new and unfamiliar city you just moved to. :( Because of previous horrific experiences with body shops in LA (I thought about writing bad Yelp reviews about them but didn't want the bad Karma. (The last and only one star review I wrote, they guy had a heart attack) so now I only write them them if I have something good to say. Anyway, when I reported the accident to my insurance company I asked for a local shop that was one of their approved vendors. Before I went to the shop they initially recommended, I read the Yelp reviews on them and they were one star! So I asked for another shop and they referred me to Fix Auto in Indio. I read the reviews and thought they must be fake, they are all 5 stars! How can a body shop in Indio be so great and who is this Hector they keep talking about? Well all I can say is everything you have read is TRUE!!! Hector makes the place! He is so conscientious and personable and professional. He told me the job would take 7 days. He lied!!! :) The car was ready in only 48 hours!!! I couldn't believe it was my car because it not only looked better that it did before the accident but it looked BRAND NEW!!! When I had trouble getting to the body shop after work in time before they closed, Hector waited for me!!! Since the car was already in going to be in the shop I asked if they could fix something not related to the accident and I would pay separately (a truck opened their door and banged mine). They fixed in perfectly, like new, and at a very reasonable price. Wherever Hector goes, I will go. This is really the first time I have EVER had a good experience with a body shop. I am new here an Indio and I pray that other people and businesses are as good as Fix Auto. Love & Kale, Chef AJ read more

My car was damaged when I got stuck in a severe sand storm. David and Bree took such good care of me, they handled all of the insurance paperwork, kept me updated as the repair was being worked on. Even though there were some delays due to parts and insurance they kept me in the loop. There were 2 minor issues I needed to return for (2 molding pieces loose) and it was handled immediately. They will be my go to recommendation. I was even offered a peice of candy on my way out the door! 5 read more

I got into a car accident back in May. I am now writing this just about two months later in late July. This is after three delays. What they originally told me was that it would be done at the beginning of July. Then after the time period that they told me my car would be done passed, they delayed me to the next week. This happened two more times after this and I still do not have my car. Then they stopped giving me any updates on the status of the car at all. They are taking advantage of my time and my patience. At this point, I can only assume that they lied to me multiple times about the expected finish date. They know I am 19, but I live alone and have been without a car for over 8 weeks now. Their service has been amateur at best, they continue to delay me, and they have not heard or addressed my questions about why the repair took so goddamn long. I would actively recommend that you see one of their competitors; my experience was very poor with Fix Auto Indio read more

One can tell, how committed this auto body repair shop truly when Joanna (office manager) shared, and I quote, "...we stand by our work, and our limited lifetime warranty proves it." Joanna knows the business exceptionally well, from front office duties, to dealing with the insurance companies; as well as, the auto rental dealers. She does it all! Just provide Joanna the details and sit back, relax and she will handle everything in a top-notch fashion from start to finish. She is simply a very friendly and knowledgeable employee of Fix Auto. Exceptional service from Joanna!!! The final product was a good as new. Never looked better. I was 100% happy with the repair work accomplished by the mechanic team members. Took my car in on Monday, 10/26 for minor body work to front left fender. My repairs were covered by my insurance carrier. However, I had one issue I wished taken care of outside my insurance coverage. I called Fix 3 times on Tuesday and my husband called once. No one called back. I finally left a message saying I would like my window washing reservoir replaced while they were doing the other work & it would be convenient to replace at same time. I said I would pay out of pocket, & give me an estimate. Finally, on Thursday, 10/29, the office gal called & reported Hector told her they would replace the reservoir thru my insurance carrier, as it had been damaged as part of my accident. I had also requested to pay separate from my insurance for a detail of my vehicle. I received a call at 3:30 pm Friday, 10/30 my car was good to go. I picked it up at 4:30 pm & paid my deductible; however they did not detail my car. They said I could bring it back. Today, Saturday, 10/31, my husband filled the reservoir with window washing fluid & it ran out from underneath the car all over the garage! So...what did they replace and why did they CHARGE my insurance company for something that was not replaced? I'm really disappointed at the level of service and their lack of communicating. Why couldn't Hector have called me back? Not sure if I over rated them by giving two stars. read more

worst Auto body repair service In the Area. treatment of service is poor. God forbid you don't live an hour away because you will be wasting your time. After an accident, it takes quite a bit to get you back in a good mood. Thankfully, everyone at Fix Auto Indio was so kind and helpful, they turned a frustrating situation into a wonderful, positive experience. They completed the work faster than quoted (and expected) and did a phenomenal job! They even took the time to clean and buff the discoloration and yellowing on my headlights which were not part of the estimate/damage report. My car was cleaned and detailed, it truly looks brand new! Priscilla in the office is very knowledgeable, kind, prompt, and thorough... Everything you're looking for in customer service! They kept in touch with updates on the vehicle and I never had any question where they were at in the process. I am so thankful I happened to choose this location for my repairs. Hopefully the traffic gods allow me to avoid any more accidents, but if not, I know exactly where I'll be taking my car. Big Thank you to everyone at Fix Auto Indio! I was referred here by a family member who had used their services and was very happy with their work. I took my '22 Honda Civic in because somebody hit me on the front right bumper & it needed to be repainted and the headlight replaced. They ended up keeping my car for a total of 3 weeks claiming there were backups due to the insurance but then I would call the insurance and they would resolve any issues right away. I had to be calling for updates since no one kept me in the loop and every time I did call, I was told something completely different; they weren't on the same page. The day they told me the car was ready, Bre called and asked me to come in at 11:30am and I agreed. Then I get a call back asking if I could come at 1:30 since paperwork wasn't complete yet, so I agreed. When I went to pick up the car, it still wasn't ready. Upon inspection we realized that there was a significant gap between the bumper and the headlight that had been replaced, there was overspray by the passenger side mirror and there was scratches on the hood and side of the car that were not there before. We brought it to their attention and at first Bre tried to say that it was because we had arrived 15 minutes early and she hadn't done the inspection yet but after a while they apologized and asked us to leave the car for an additional day so they can fix up the cosmetic issues so I agreed. The next day they called and said my car was ready we set up a pickup time of 3:00 p.m., I arrived at 2:00. The gap between the headlight and bumper had been fixed and some of the scratches had also been buffed out however there were swirl marks that were left on the hood and another new scratch and the overspray had not been completely removed we brought this up to their attention and Bre said it's because we were an hour early but I told her that she had already notified me that the car was ready. Again they asked us to keep the car and that it would be ready by the end of the day. I declined saying I didn't want to risk my car being further damaged. When I got inside of my car, I noticed that although they put down paper mats it was still very dirty with their shoe marks and more importantly there was a big shoe print on the side of the door as if it had been pushed or kicked open with their foot. At home, it took my nephew maybe an hour to buff out those scratch marks so I'm not sure if the detailer doesn't know what they are doing or if they were just being lazy at their job. All together I would not recommend this body shop. I have already notified friends and family of my experience and have had people tell me that although they were originally thinking of taking their car there they won't be doing so anymore. read more

I took my car to Fix Auto on a recommendation from my insurance company. It was left with them last Monday. On Wednesday they called and said it would be ready on Thursday. On Thursday they said the paint needed to dry so it wouldn't be ready until Friday. On Friday they were putting it back together and even offered to deliver it to me, but alas it wouldn't be done until Monday. Today, Monday, I went to pick it up, knowing that one part would have to be taken care of at a later date. I offered to pay half my deductible because the work was incomplete, but they refused and would not release the car to me unless I paid the entire amount. They had already received the insurance company's share. After much arguing I paid in full, but when I got in the car I got "Malfunction" warnings. Needless to say I left the car with them. I could not be more upset and angry. read more

Our Van, 2 years old, was hit by flying shower doors (5) off a truck. Glass shrapnel peppered all the paint everywhere, cracked the front lights, grille, windshield. The truck insurer was State Farm and we reviewed or visited several authorized auto collision repair sites in Coachella Valley. While Fix Auto was furthest, I was impressed by Mark, one of the mechanics who inspected the vehicle and agreed it needed a total sanding, priming and factory paint plus replace the front bumper (most are molded plastic and hard to remove pits), grille, windshield and lights. The bill was quite high but approved by State Farm. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks because painting the whole car requires stripping and removing all moldings and racks. They got it done in 7 days. No hassle, perfect paint finish, like new. This was the most hassle free, well run auto repair operation I have ever dealt with. If you have insurance, they have that process down cold. As a walk in without insurance, no data to help you. They seem to handle a lot of desert sand damage on pain jobs [no pun intended] so their paint shops are set up like in the factory. Recommend highly. Satisfied customer. Thanks Mark. By the way, we got the auto rental from Hertz as part of their service. Pick up and drop off. Nice guys on Madison Avenue Indio. Thanks guys, stay awake. read more

Watch your wallet with this company. An issue arose over a billing error. While trying to resolve it, Fix Auto gave us several different conflicting stories about what they owed us back on our account. After the runaround for weeks, we went to their office to discuss it. While there, we requested a complete accounting. As we predicted, their computer showed the error right down to the penny we claimed. We expected that would resolve the issue. Instead, a week later (a week later than they said they would respond) they claimed that their central office in Cathedral City had "different" accounting than the local office in Indio where the work was done. Really! We are headed to small claims just on principle. read more
