Then came the most insulting part -- their "mechanic" (who I was told is part-time) tried to blame the engine damage on me because I had replaced coil packs and spark plugs. That excuse is laughable. Routine maintenance does not magically cause accident-related engine damage, and anyone with basic automotive knowledge knows that. Let's be very clear: * The engine issue started immediately after the accident * I reported it from day one * Caliber Collision ignored it * When they could no longer avoid it, they tried to shift blame onto me This wasn't a mistake -- it was negligence and gaslighting. If you don't fight them every step of the way, they will minimize real issues and protect themselves instead of your vehicle. I would never trust Caliber Collision with another repair. If you care about your car, your time, or being taken seriously -- go somewhere else.
