They didn't give the rental car I was promised, even though I was assured, the day before, that it was booked. They promised my car would be ready on a Sunday. It wasn't. Unseen damage. Isnt that their job to see/estimate it? I went in the next day when it was promised again, but again, not ready. I called the next day and they had "run out of double sided tape". Finally I was told I could pick it up on Thu at noon, but again, it wasn't ready! To add to all those broken promises, I asked them to "buff out" the many little scratches on the paint. I had to pay $500. for it myself as it wasn't part of the claim. It was all clean and shiny, but the scrapes were still there. I felt ripped off.

The truck went 193 miles before the transmission seized. From what I know now I'm so thankful it was not towed back to the shop we had the transmission repaired and it ended up in the hands of Mark and Owen at L&D transmission. I must say Mark and Owen were very professional and upfront with us what to expect and genuinely concerned for us in the situation we were in. I've taken my car to them twice thinking my brakes were going, and they totally could have taken advantage of me, but NOPE, my brakes are fine. So, I get into my car 2 days ago and it is just DEAD, I'm praying it's just the battery and not the alternator or starter, so I call them. They sent a tow truck for me, taking care of it (added it to my bill, but better than me having to come up with cash to give the tow truck driver!) and then after diagnosing that it WAS just the battery, and testing to make sure the alternator and starter were A-OK, they then DELIVERED my car back to me so I wouldn't have to stop unpacking my house (just moved, what a stressful week!). Seriously, this company is ON. POINT. I will never use another mechanic while in Chilliwack, even though we moved from near them to closer to downtown Chilliwack, and I only have high praises for them. He said that he would not charge me because ICBC would be changing its policy within the next couple of days; the policy change would be that vehicle owners would get free windshield repairs if they have comprehensive coverage. Even though that new policy was not yet in effect, Ron went ahead and fixed my windshield for free ;) I am super appreciative!
