Response time was excellent when I called to get a quote for the job. Sharif was friendly and easy to talk to. He helped with the assessment of the damage and gave me a quote within 10 minutes of me sending him pictures of the dent on my car. Overall experience: 5/5 (UPDATED) For the price and how quickly they are at at repairing the damage you can't beat them. It began as a 4/5 review for minor things, but after speaking with Sharif from his follow up call, he changed my mind 5/5. Sharif addressed/explained all the minor things I listed and even took it farther to refund me partial credit for touch up paint. I told him I didnt want a full refund because the technician David did still work on it and as I stated before, he seemed to be a great person. I have alot of friends that are in the car community and I will definately be introducing them to potential more clients. They seemed to be busy with alot of clients, because my tech arrived a bit later than usual, but that didnt really bother me at all. Had my car repaired by David, great person with great character. Seemed like a genuine person and I felt kind of bad calling him during a heat wave, but they were able to pull through. He did the repair on my car and we had some interesting discussions. The only reasons on why I couldn't give 5/5 reviews is that: 1. $45 bucks for paint application (which i can do at home with my factory paint in less than 15 mins was a bit pricy, i think personally) 2. During PDR (paintless dent repair) I haven't seen the tech use the heat gun, which got me a bit worried the paint might crack during initial repair.. but I did trust David, so didnt express my opinion 3. After the repair, there were hammer marks on the area of the initial damage and a quick sand/buff would've been nice as a cleaner finish. They are visible and I would have to do it myself very shortly. Other than that it was a good experience and I did appreciate them coming through. The initial contact was great but their customer service after they have taken the money for the job is bad; To say the least. I was not happy with their finished product so I called Mr. Sharif to tell him, and he told me that He would have to inspect the finished job. I made three appointments with him and he didn't showed up till finally showed up at the third one. To make matter worse, he told me that the job was "excellent" and that it was the end of the case refusing to honor the guaranty, " if you are not happy with the work we provide for you, you won't have to pay. I called him after being told by an auto body shop that I should try Paintless Dent Removal and after looking up many places around I decided to give Fix-A-Dent a call. I scheduled an appt on my day off with him to do the repairs at my house and when he arrived, we quickly took a look at everything and he went to work. The tech was on time and texted me. He ran into issues because he could not get enough leverage to pull the dent properly. So he used the glue pull method, asking me if the paint was original because it would chip if it was not. Paint is OEM, original. Dent was fixed. I had two other small dings fixed as well. However, there were scratches on my trunk lid, drivers door and paint chip on trunk lid. The tech proceeded to buff out the scratch on trunk lid with a compound on a dirty car. You never ever do that. Well that caused scuffs/scratches on my trunk lid. Dent was fixed to 85% but now I have scratches on drivers side door, paint chip, scuffs/scratches on trunk lid. The owner did offer $40 to have it buffed out. This just tells me he has no experience in detailing or any concept how expensive it is to polish a car. Word of advice, dont attempt polish on a dirty car. The apparatus they use had rubber grommets on it and I can guarantee clear coat will be scratched. So, if you dont really car about your cars paint condition, then they are for you. read more
