The work was great, but the customer service is severely lacking! I called Sharif to have a couple of dents removed, he set the appointment at 1:30 (his choice), and the tech didn't show up until about three hours later. Upon arrival, the tech informed me that he would have to drill a HOLE into my door to press out the damage. This is not the techs fault, but I had absolutely NO idea this was necessary. So I offered the remove the door panel on the affected door to hopefully allow him better access. The other issue, is the price. I was quoted $90-135, based on a photo I sent, which he circled the damage in and sent it back to me. Once the job was done, he said he would normally have to charge for three dents (at greater cost) instead of the ONE dent he quoted me for. So he used this as leverage for charging at the upper end of his range. This is unfair, since I sent him a very detailed high-res photo of the damage, and there was clearly more than one dent. What more could I do?? However, this "range" is completely fiction, and they only ever really plan to charge one price, as the tech showed me his billing system, which only had ONE price, and was not able to change the amount in any way. I asked for a small discount, just because the lateness of the tech really inconvenienced me. He was NOT willing to budge on the price, and he even threatened to increase the price. That is really an awful thing to do to someone. Needless to say....I won't be using this particular dent removal service again. A shame, since the tech did a phenomenal job! All it would have taken was a $10 or so discount, and I would have been happy. Thanks for reading. read more
