Finally got in touch and planning on getting work done in December...Remains to be seen how it goes.

Five Star Foundation was hired to do a leveling job for the church. Question..Am I wrong to expect a company to show up when they say they will, and work a full day on a job they are getting paid to do? Instead, the church keeps getting rescheduled time and time again. When they finally show up, they work a couple of days and then don't come back until almost a week later. When I question this and express dissatisfaction, I 'm given a laundry list by Cody of all the things he has happening and what's going on with his crew as to why he can't get my job done now. Week after week, the job gets delayed by Cody. The church has a big event coming up, and I explain to Cody that I need to get this job done in a reasonable time. Now he accuses me of rushing him. Over a month later, when the job is said to finally be complete, it is inspected and discovered all the blocks underneath is done wrong. He fixed part of it, and left the church with the expense of repairing the rest of what we had already paid him for. The church requested part of our money back. Cody has gone silent. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. read more

Update: Subcontractors hired that did the minor prep work even showed up at our house asking about the job because they were not paid for their work. This company has since changed all their numbers, their website, has an additional new website, and their service areas no longer includes Houston. (They have 2 listings on yelp.) We attempted to chat with them on the new website, sent through their request form a follow up on the termination and refund still owed, tried calling the new number, they did not respond back initially. After more unfavorable reviews were posted, we were told twice that they "wanted to make this right" and we would get a refund. In fact, they wanted us to sign an agreement to stop posting unfavorable reviews of their company and remove current ones to get our refund. We still have not been refunded any of our money. Check out other review sites, (I can provide a large listing.) There are multiple complaints on this company and by others that have been treated similarly. I hired this company to level a house that I'm remodeling. After promising to start in two weeks, five weeks later they started the project. it was a nightmare going forward. Their staff acted very unprofessional at my property. They left a huge mess in the backyard. they claimed that the work was finished, so I paid the remaining balance. The work was very poorly done. Now I'm trying to sell the property and Kody will not return my calls, even though he said we have a 10 year warranty. I'm super disappointed in the professionalism of the company. We hired Fivestar Foundation & Construction to dig 2 short tunnels under our house and fix the 2 plumbing leaks that were found about six months ago. So far everything is working great and landscaping has came back where tunnels were dug. They did a great job very happy with the work, we have actually recently hired them again to come back and do a complete regrade of the back yard so they could do a stone fire pit. Fivestar Foundation & Construction did an amazing job. They are truly a fivestar company. read more

They have led us on for thirty days and will not refund our money to get our project completed elsewhere. Fivestar Foundation and Construction did a great job with our foundation repair remediation they installed piers and leveled the house as well as some concrete work. Kody and Gorge came out to give us an estimate to stabilize our foundation and level, also to build a concrete ramp for my mother in law that cant walk and just moved in. We got five estimates and Fivestar was the second highest, but out of all five estimates Kody and Gorge spent the most time with us to discuss the needed work. It took them a little over a month to begin the work but work came out great and beautiful. Kody was present during most work checking in on us being sure we were comfortable and understood what was going on. They pulled all permits and dealt with the city on our behalf so we didn't have to worry about it. read more

I met Courtney at a marketing mixer in New Braunfels. She was very professional and a pleasure to talk with. I'm new to the Relator world, and ran into my first need for a foundation inspection. I contacted Courtney for help, and she sent Kody to save the day, and that he did! He met me and my client at the property in question, and conducted a full inspection for me at no charge. He was very thorough in explaining his findings with my client and I to where we both fully understood what was going on with the foundation, and what it would take to resolve the problem to ensure a stable foundation. We had little to no questions after listening to what he had to say, and if we did have a question he was prompt in response and sure to explain things in a manner that all involved could comprehend. He also offered a discount for the needed foundation repair work as my client is a first responder, a paramedic in Live Oak. I appreciate that they were able to respond to the matter in such a timely manner, and came with absolute professionalism and high quality knowledge to share. This company was SO GREAT! Kody was absolutely amazing to work with. He explained everything to me very thoroughly during my initial foundation repair consultation with him, which not many companies did for me. The foundation repair work was also done wonderfully by his crew. They kept me updated on what was going on and with the progress of work through the entire duration of the job and performed GREAT cleanup. I truly appreciated the clean up considering how much dirt was everywhere, I was afraid my yard would be a bit messy afterwards but they got everything put back together very nicely! Since becoming a homeowner, I have yet to deal with foundation issues, so it was definitely nerve-racking trying to get it figured out, but I am truly happy with my experience with this company. They made it a lot easier for me to understand and feel a lot less stressed. I highly recommend anyone having foundation issues to have them come out for a consultation! read more

Kody came out to explain what the best method would be, and I found him very helpful and professional. Since the job has been done there has been lots of rain and its staying dry. Don't bother with this company. In all honesty it just feels like a scam and they don't even bother addressing that concern when I expressed that to them. Kody shows up at my place for a foundation assessment and he's a nice enough guy. He draws up a quote for addressing the various issues but one of those problems was something I needed to fix right away, which was a leak in plumbing in the crawl space. I was quoted $1,125. I signed and paid a 50% deposit, like an absolute idiot, back on the 7th of March. I made it clear to them that I'm leaving end of March and this needed to be fixed before then which they assured me would be the case. It's been an absolute nightmare ever since. I haven't been able to get anyone to answer my calls, and they kept stringing me along with text messages and voicemail messages just saying that they'll look into it and get someone out "soon" or "next week." I started looking at reviews online for them and saw that others complained about them taking money and not finishing the work. They state in the contract that you have to send in a written notice to cancel the contract... but they don't even have an address listed ANYWHERE! Not on the contract, not on their website or even the folder of papers they left with me gloating about the company being a family business. I had to call the office six times in a row until someone finally answered. Courtney answered and she just kept deflecting about the scheduling not being an issue on her end. I asked her for a refund and she again kept deflecting telling me that's Kody's job and that he's going to tell me that I need to send a written notice. I scoffed and told her that they don't even have a mailing address listed anywhere. She gave me an email address that I wrote to asking for a refund. It's been over a week and still no response. Does this not feel like a scam? How is this even a legitimate business? Oh, and because I had no faith in them doing the job before I left town, I called another company. Like any company would do, they go over the schedule and tell you when is the first available appointment. They got someone over the very next day, and they fixed the issue in 30 minutes. It cost $245! In comparison to the $1,125 this scam of a company quoted us! read more

Some halfwit named Cody reached out as like the 80th company way late in the game claiming he's in affiliate of some company that I put an estimate quote into got what I wanted and then started receiving spam phone calls from all sorts of companies all over the US trying to get me to use them to put a little patio slab in. When Cody with five star called me, told me a quick bout about why he was calling and who he was. I knew exactly what it was another company trying to get my business which they're not going to get and I told him no thank you I'm good. Have a nice day to get petty, belligerent and argumentative and call me times after which I had to give him a text telling him I'm not interested and which point he got even more petty and demeaning and told me he would refusing to work with me and good luck with my project which is funny because I never tried to get them to work with me the whole thing was me trying to tell them I didn't need their services and to have a nice day and they would not stop and then decided to get petty with me so I would not use this company and I would suggest everyone else stay away from this kind of crappy customer service and petty little shitheads read more

FiveStar Foundation and Construction is the greatest! Kody was sent out by the companies recommended for the most qualified for what was taken place at our home. He came out to measure and take elevations of our house while also looking at the post-tension cables that broke. Kody told us that the foundation was un-level and that this was the cause of the post-tension cables breaking. While hearing this my nerves were all over the place, but Kody explained that this is not uncommon in the area which is different to hear because foundations do not move from where my husband and I are from. Kody spent 2 hours with my husband and I to explain why and how they would fix the cables and bring the foundation to a level point. He answered all our questions and said a crew could be at our house to start work in 2 weeks if we decided to use FiveStar Foundation and Construction to fix our home. My husband called FiveStar Foundation and Construction's office maybe an hour after Kody left our home. My husband asked the office to send a contract to sign and they got us on schedule for one day shy of 2 weeks. They were supposed to start on a Tuesday, they called Monday to say that they would need one more day before starting our foundation work, that the crew scheduled was finishing up a job and would be there Wednesday. Wednesday morning Kody showed up with a crew and told them what was going on and introduced me to his foreman, Pedro. It took them a little over a week to dig 52 feet of tunnels and put 31 piers around and under my house. I was amazed at what was taking place. Once they leveled the house and fixed the broken cables, Kody came out with an engineer to review the work and approve the work, afrer Kody and and engineer left the crew starting filling the tunnel back and all the holes, this took them 2 days to complete. when they were done you couldn't even imagine what had just took place. I am so happy we choose FiveStar Foundation and Construction! Amazing job. Thank you FiveStar Foundation and Construction! Highly recommend this company. read more
