Wow! Everything was so good. We got lucky. Barely a wait for party of 5 on Monday morning. Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Eggs were done so well. Superfood grain salad was full of flavors. One of our must go to spots whenever we visit Park City. The wait can be a bit long. You provide your phone number and they will give a text when your table is ready. There is a market and a state liquor store in the same parking lot if you want to kill some time. We always order the hot cake. The perfect combination of sweet mixed berries and tart and creamy lemon mascarpone. The nuts and seeds add a little earthy texture. Our other go to is the Shakshouka. It's kept warm in a cast iron pan. You dip the baguette into the Moroccan spiced tomatoes and the runny egg yolk. Even when your bread is all gone. You will want to spoon feed yourself the rest. Ya'll! Go here! Now! My sis and BIL came into town yesterday, we wanted to explore a new city (to us) and try a new restaurant! My family and I just moved here in August so we don't know the good places! I googled restaurants in Park City and was IMMEDIATELY attracted to Five5eeds' menu! Açaí bowls, smoothie bowls, avocado toast, mushrooms on toast, hot cakes, coffees, and more! We pulled up, it looked busy, put our name on the list and only had to wait 20 mins. On a Saturday morning! The restaurant is decorated so cute, we were so excited to sit down! Our experience was delightful! Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and kind! We had 7 in our group, 3 being kids (which we know is not what servers always want to see). Anyway, the lattes we ordered had a pretty heart in the foam, the food came out quick, presented beautifully. The food was so yummy I'll be dreaming about it until we get back up there! Keep going . . . DO NOT EAT HERE (it's especially NOT safe for Black Americans) 7 of us came here to eat brunch, all of us are from various parts of the nation. I walked up to the hostess and gave my name (I believed I had a reservation). The hostess (owners daughter) politely informed me that although reservations can be made online via Google, it's not attached to their restaurant and they can't remove that option. She informed me that they do not take reservations, but she will put us on her list for a 30 minute wait time. We all stood outside, took pictures, and talked to each other while we waited. We got seated and immediately could tell something is off. Our server was inattentive and agitated with every interaction. So much so, that she was avoiding us. We saw all the other tables around us being cleared off as they ate their food and responded to with every request. However, we had to track her down repeatedly. One of the women in our party found a bug floating in her glass. On every table there are small jugs of water. We tracked down a staff member, who found our server. We informed her of the bug in the glass and she walked off quickly, returning with another glass. Leaving the bug water jug on the table. We also tracked down another staff member to ask if someone can bus our table? We were so neglected that it took 3 bussers to clear off our table after we requested it. We asked to speak to a manager and our server rudely demanded to know why. She then walked off rolling her eyes. We shared our concerns with the manager for a moment but then the owner walked up to take over. While I began sharing my concerns I quickly realized that he had no intention of hearing anything I had to say. He interrupted me demanding that I prove I made a reservation. This was on my phone and in my email but he was so aggressive that I began to shut down. Before completely shutting down I explained that his hostess knew about it also but that was not our qualm. Our qualm was based on our repeated poor treatment in his restaurant. He proceeded to say that he stands behind his staff and all their actions (which includes the mistreatment of us, bug in glass and water jug, not bussing tables, eye rolling of server) and that there is no way we were treated differently because he employs a diverse group of people. I told him I am not going to explain myself anymore because I do not feel like he created a safe space for me to do so, he acted aggressive and incredibly defensive. Not only is he unequipped to listen but he also disregarded a suggestion for diversity, equity, and inclusion training for his staff. He stormed off and rolled his eyes after I said I would use my voice on social media instead. I have footage and it's coming soon. In the meantime, the pics below show my friends and I kicking about while waiting our on our turn to be seated. Do we look like we had a problem? No, we don't. I believe the owner and servers stereotyped us as "problems" based on our appearance from the start. I wouldn't doubt if the hostess (the owners daughter) spoke to the owner about the reservation issue, he looked at us, and told everyone we were a problem. Overall, I was super disappointed, as you can see in our picture, we expected to have a nice time. This is NOT a safe space for Black people! Save your money. They hate us here. Eating here felt worse than racist experiences at restaurants in the Deep South. That says a lot! This establishment is not welcoming and if you come here, you will feel like it's segregated when you look around and realize you are being openly ignored while others who don't look like you are being openly catered to. read more

Great little brunch spot! Was pretty busy on a Thursday late morning. Everything on the menu sounded pretty good so I decided to get the breakfast board which came with smaller portions of two menu items so I tried the Avocado and Pea toast and the Chia Seed pudding. The Avocado Pea toast was good but I wasn't a huge fan of the bread. The Chia Seed pudding was super yummy. I also enjoyed the freshly squeezed OJ that came with the breakfast board. No sauce or salt and pepper brought the dish to life. I was disappointed. My husband had yogurt and a side of fruit. Crispy on the outside and fluffy slightly dense on the inside. It's topped with fresh berries, nuts, seeds and my favorite, a dollop of mascarpone cheese. I do not recommend the chicken sandwich. The hot matcha here is the best that I have found in Utah. The barista is a magician with matcha, not too sweet, not watered down, perfect color and blend of Unami and creamy goodness.
