Had my horse boarded for a total of 2 months with Ranae and Brent Parker. The owner of the ranch is…read morenever home and hides when you knock on her door. Never returns your calls. Never responds to your messages (I have written her letters in hopes to get her attention as well) until the end of the month when it's time to pay her. Jesus, the guy that is supposed to feed and clean them, doesn't return calls neither. He told us to sneakingly bathe her in the afternoons when they aren't there because the owner gets mad when you use her well water to bath the horse more than once a month. I paid extra to have her shavings changed every day. Which did not happen, not even once a week. The other horses boarded are in horrible conditions, so much that they are sick. There is soaking pee, and poop everywhere. They are never fed. As they stated they would at 8 am and 4 pm. Furthermore, they ride your horse without your permission and hurt them (I parked from a distance and saw). My horse has a shattered left knee that needed immediate attention from being hit by them. She has deep cuts from her back going around her stomach and legs. When I brought this to the attention of the owner she said the horse did that to herself (even though she is never there to see Jesus does not do his job and hurts the animals) to avoid having the city called to her facility and get her license revoked. The vet has stated in the report someone indeed hurt the animal, they weren't self-inflected wounds. From the deep cuts in her back, stomach, legs and broken knee. I have removed my horse from this horrible facility since then. I will be posting pictures and get reports for your reference. Please avoid this ranch at all costs and pay the extra $100 to have your horse very well-cared for elsewhere.

Words cannot describe how amazing Julie is as a riding instructor. Her teaching style is tailored…read moreto each rider; there's no set deadline or timing. That's what I loved most about her program-- she truly personalizes her lessons to fit your progress. One of her best skills is that she is acutely in tune with your form, comfort level, and confidence. She is so good at understanding how the human body interacts with the horse so when you're learning the fundamentals, you're learning it from an almost anatomical perspective. I originally started out at a different equestrian center but the instructor there made me feel anxious and unsure every time. I carried a lot of that over to Julie's lessons where I had to unlearn a lot of bad habits. In my almost year of riding under her guidance, I've learned proper techniques and gained back my confidence. Julie has the innate ability to make you feel safe and secure when riding. I love that she teaches to build confidence so you can master the technical skills. If you are ever thinking about horseback riding but scared to try it, get a lesson with Julie. An instructor like her is one of a kind.

She is more then willing to help with special needs and lives on the property, so your horses are never out of her care. I have a crazy schedule and she is always able to fit my lessons in - even if they're at 8pm. Not to mention Creek Hill is a drama free, fun barn - something that is hard to find in the equestrian world!! A true hidden gem!
