Do not book this company. The house we rented was filthy when we arrived -- mold, dirt, and dead bugs inside. The pool was absolutely disgusting, grimy all around, and completely unusable. We were told the pool company would come, but they didn't show up for two days. Since this was only a Thursday-Sunday trip, we rented this house specifically for the pool and was unable to use it our entire stay. When they finally came, all they did was skim the surface, which did nothing to fix the filth. Even the housekeepers were shocked by the condition of the home. To make matters worse, the rental company was disingenuous and condescending when we called for help, offering little real assistance. This property "The Great Escape" is not maintained, and the photos online are completely misleading. This company should be ashamed -- save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere

There isn't anything that does not get handled promptly, completely, and with the utmost of integrity. It's literally automatic with these guys. In addition, they have a great pulse on the market. Over the past two years, even through the pandemic - they have been able to provide our guests with more dynamic rental opportunities to suit their needs. Whether that be longer term rentals in winter months, or weekend only vs weekly rates, etc. - they have maximized my return on investment while at the same time providing more flexibility to our guests. My house is booked almost every single day of the week through all seasons. I literally cannot say enough about Justin and the team at ECVR - they are simply the best.

Save the headache…read more This guy is very unprofessional I'm writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the cancellation of my Destin vacation rental reservation through Airbnb, which occurred only about a month before our scheduled trip. I had booked two rooms for a group trip involving multiple adults and children, and this last-minute cancellation has created a major inconvenience for everyone involved. As most people know, finding accommodations in Destin this close to summer travel dates is extremely difficult and significantly more expensive. We are now being forced to scramble to find another place that can accommodate our entire group, all because of a cancellation that could have been handled much more professionally. What made the situation even worse was the response I received when I called to ask about the cancellation. Instead of showing understanding or professionalism, Brad laughed and made comments implying that the rate I booked was "too cheap" and that there was "no way" the property was worth that amount. I booked the property directly through Airbnb at the listed rate, so any pricing issue should have been addressed internally -- not taken out on paying customers after reservations were already confirmed. After looking through the Google reviews for Emerald Coast Rental Vacation Homes, I noticed multiple other customers describing very similar experiences involving sudden cancellations and poor communication. That raises serious concerns about how business is being conducted. I also want to address something in advance: I've seen responses to negative reviews where claims are made that the reviewer "never booked" with the company. That is absolutely not the case here. I did book these properties through Airbnb, and I have screenshots, confirmations, and documentation to fully support everything stated in this review. This experience has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Canceling on families and groups shortly before their vacations puts people in difficult financial and logistical situations, especially when prices increase dramatically afterward. I hope future customers are made aware of these recurring issues before trusting this company with important travel plans.

Stacy and Chris Tuttell will not honor a contract you sign with them. We had to cancel shortly…read morebefore our trip and they refused to relist the property so we could try and get some of our money back. It was a long-shot for the property to re-rent, but Chris didn't even bother trying. I left several messages with them, but they would never return my calls. They did respond to an email, but were very rude and defensive. He is holding us to our contract, but won't honor his end of the bargain. They took no responsibility for failing to honor our contract -- I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted to be heard and talk about the problem. Now, Chris is refusing to send me back my security deposit and cleaning fees that I prepaid -- neither of these items were ever used, so he's just a thief. These people are not fair or honest so avoid renting a property from them. If you're considering listing a house with them, please look elsewhere -- these are not people you want to work with.

We arrived Saturday to our refrigerator being broken, Stacy was no where to be reached, did not contact us back at all for over twelve hours so we had to call a repairman ourselves the next day, the repairman said we had to order a part, which would take days. Stacy decided to show her face days later and inconvenience us even further by coming out at 9 o'clock at night and informed us they have had several problems with the fridge before (obviously aware of the problem) then we asked her what was she going to do for us to fix this because we didn't want to go out to eat for EVERY MEAL for fear of coronavirus and the surging rates in Florida at the time, to which Stacy literally said "oh it's totally ok to eat out, me and my husband go all the time" LOL. Fast forward to Wednesday night (the last two days of our trip) and we finally get it fixed and ask Stacy what she is going to do in the way of a partial refund for us because of the inconvenience she caused us amongst the refrigerator and whole day we had no access to the pool due to it needing to be shocked and Stacy not planning this properly either, we even had a diabetic in the house who needed to refrigerate their medicine-Stacy could care less. We have received zero compensation for the hundreds of dollars wasted on food before we realized the fridge was broken nor the countless amounts of extra money we had to pay for to-go food (obviously more expensive than groceries), or for the extra risk we were forced to put ourselves at with the coronavirus. What little communication we have had with Stacy (when she wasn't literally ignoring us for days on end) has been condescending, dismissive, and ignorant. 10 out of 10 would not recommend, way too expensive off the rip, let alone to deal with all the shocking amount of disrespect we have received. Do not book here, you will regret it. UPDATE- Stacy has refused to give us our deposit back for no reason. And is not answering calls or texts, 100% withholding and thus stealing the amount due back to us. A truly trash business and business owner. Again- DO NOT BOOK WITH BEACH'N DESTIN.

We rented Seas the Day in Miramar Beach with Diamond in March 2025. The only significant issue…read morewith the owner was stained carpeting on the stairs that needs to be replaced. It's the management company and maintenance that is horrible. You check in at 5pm at the same time their offices closes. Even when we called the emergency line no one responded. Unreal. The pool was dirty and heat was not turned on as we paid $500 for. Come to find out they don't clean pool between guests, only on a standard twice weekly schedule. Gross.... Then the floors were so dirty it was filthy. Oh, did I mention we found a plate on top of the fridge with weed on it. Imagine if the kids would have found it. Imagine staring your vacation with kids crying because they can't use the pool they have waited months for. While Diamond was reactive to our issues, they simply should not have happened. They offered compensation to keep out mouths closed and not post but no way! Avoid Diamond at all costs!!!! We rented from My Dream Vacation last year with zero issues.

They do check…read morein with you quite often but might charge a security deposit and use "fine print" to charge you a cancellation fee. The properties I stayed in were both "nice" houses but desperately needed updating. One was listed as 5 bedrooms when it was really only 4 bedrooms with a walk-in closet (inside a bedroom) converted to a bunk room. Pricing is better than other sites but comes at a cost.
