On 11-20-2023 in the evening hours while dark outside a neighbor of a Honduran family and I had the displeasure to be approached by a female that I later identified as "April Pierce" of Newcastle Property Management. April Pierce stated that she was the "Property Manager" of a rental unit located on Odin Lane and that I note was newly remodeled. April Pierce pulled up and approached both of us while being extremely rude while giving us extreme grief while bitching, complaining, and started an extended arguement with both of us regarding 2 trash cans and 2 discarded couches. These 2 trash cans were from THEIR "own rental unit" that were placed there by workers of THEIR own unit to be picked up by the City on pick up days. Both trash cans were never moved from their own placed positions! April Pierce claimed that the 2 cans that were partly blocking their rental property driveway needed to be moved RIGHT NOW! April "assumed" that the 2 trash cans were not theirs as she stated that there were 2 trash cans in their garage. April Pierce REFUSED to listen to ACTUAL FACTS or anything that was stated as she started "hurdling abusive and consendating remarks" against me as to being a former LEO and former City Employee because facts and information differed from her own misguided assumptions and MISGUIDED OPINIONS. All of this because April disagreed with the facts regarding the 2 trash cans were from "their own property". Had April actually looked into the 2 trash cans she would have seen a lot of their own unit's NEWLY discarded "retail packing" including retail boxes from towel bar racks, a Multi Purpose Hook (bath robe), door knobs, door hinges, light fixtures, verticle blinds, Hazardous Waste (gallon can of house paint), yard waste etc from their own items. These newly installed item CAN BE CLEARLY SEEN in their rental listings with room to room pictures shown! April argued about the facts of the City of FWB "requiring a pick up REQUEST to be SCHEDULED with the City or the City will NOT pick up 2 large discarded couches. April involved herself into my conversation with the Honduran neighbor that I was already talking to when she pulled up. The neighbor was discarding these 2 large couches that were slightly encrouching on the rental property's "imaginary property line" and were moved slight over upon her request. April Pierce refused to accept that she was ignorantly wrong regarding the TWO trash cans and the FACT that the City REQUIRES a SCHEDULED PICK UP REQUEST for BULK HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. April became extremely rude and belligerent. April wrongly claimed that you do not need to call the City to have 2 couches picked up. On 11-21-2023 I called the City of FWB Sanitation Dept via the Public Works Operations Manager Office while also speaking with the Administrative Coordinator. April was TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG AND IGNORANT OF FACTS! April at one point told the Honduran neighbor to just go "dump the couches in a business dumpster" which would be totally ILLEGAL, in violation of State Law regarding illegal dumping, and subject the neighbor to FINE AND ARREST! You can't make that crap up!

I find it comical that this company advertises that they have "expertise" and a "personalized…read moretouch" in planning weddings (as seen in the attached images from their Facebook page), and yet Hollie Jones left a bride and groom with nothing 15 minutes before their special day after 6 months of communication. Hollie didn't tell the couple that she had in fact outsourced their wedding and they were left without their arbor, chairs, sound system, attendants, margarita bar, charcuterie boards, champagne for their toast, and seafood boil on their special day after Hollie ghosted them 15 minutes before their wedding. In Hollie's response to the groom's rating, she stated that she had also given vendor suggestions for florists, photographers, and hair/makeup artists but that the couple did not take those recommendations. Well thank goodness they DIDN'T use Hollie's recommendations! In the end those are the only vendors that DID show up for their special day because they hired their own beforehand. And don't plan on letting others on the company's Facebook page know the truth about how "great" of a service 30A Beach Girls provides for weddings. They will promptly delete the comments and block the commenters in hopes of keeping potential brides and grooms from knowing the truth rather than addressing the issue with their point of view. This coming right after Hollie Jones lied to the BBB today stating that she's only a property manager and doesn't plan weddings. These advertisements are misleading and flat out lies.

When we arrived at the property we walked into water all over the tile floors and water coming out of a large crack in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We called the property manager and were told to send photos via text to a different number. We sent them immediately along with a video and then after we didn't hear back from them after almost an hour (not even a response to the photo's and videos) we called back and were told they would provide a follow-up shortly. They messaged us back at 10 p.m (over two hours later) and asked us to mop up the water with the towels in the condo (by the way, water is still coming out of the ceiling) and they would bring new towels in the morning. So we spent the first three hours of our vacation mopping up water and drying the wet bedding caused by water dripping onto it from the ceiling leak. (The water was apparently from a leak two floors above that they were already aware of). To say the customer service was horrible is a complete understatement. We booked this condo because the listing advertised its close proximity to the beach (directly across the street) "with beach access". There is beach access for Harbor Landing owners and guests, however this particular property (601A) does not provide it. After messaging the property management multiple times requesting the code or key card to access the beach, they finally responded saying that the "beach access" provided by this unit was a public beach four miles away from the property. We talked to several other guests at this same condo complex (Harbor Landing) who said they were provided access to the beach directly across the street (along with boogie boards, floatation devices, wagons, et). If we had known we would have to pack up our stuff and drive four miles to access the beach we would never have stayed in this unit. I would think there has to be some sort of rules against false advertising. Anyways, we have stayed at so many timeshare properties in the last 20 years and this was the most ill equipped property we have ever stayed at: one kitchen hand towel, one sponge, no hot pads, no paper towels, no dish cloths, not even salt and pepper.... If you wanted to cook in the room you would need to buy all the basic staples just to do so. And finally after spending the first 2+ hours of our vacation dealing with the water issue, when we asked to check out at 10:00 instead of 9:00 (which is ridiculous ) on the day of check-out - the response was a big NO. Harbor Landing is a wonderful complex - just don't book unit 601A.

Right in the middle of everything, with great restos all around, and right across the street from the beach. You get private beach access as well which is great for an uncrowded beautiful beach even during peak season. This review is for unit 504A. The views from this unit are incredible. This is a very large 3 bedroom unit. A large porch off the back has beautiful views right on Destin Harbor, which is great day and night. You can watch the swallow marsh area where fish are chasing fish, birds are catching them all, and the occasional dolphins in the deeper section. You can also watch the boats come in and out which is peaceful. Harbor Landing does have boat slips, as well as a grilling area right off the docks. The back porch also wraps around for a nice Gulf view. A second large porch is off one of the bedrooms in the front with another great Gulf view. This is a newer, modern building with a very nice pool area as well, which is a lap pool. Fitness center and hot tubs. All the bedrooms are large with private baths in each (jacuzzi in master), as well as a 4th bath in the front hall. The kitchen opens up into the dining/living area which is one huge open floor plan. The kitchen bar seats 5, and a large dining table seats 8 easily. A nice comfortable patio set to relax on as well. Granite/stainless throughout, tiled floors, wash/dry, dishwasher and stereo. This condo is equipped with wireless for your computer, flat panel Samsung and LG TVs with DVD players in each bedroom as well as a larger one in the main living area. Enjoy Destin from this unit!

As a 3 bedroom it had 2 kings and 2 queens so it slept 8. Enough for 2 families of 4. We even had a partial view of the gulf from our balcony. We'd go back again for sure. So many wonderful restaurants are nearby, you can even walk to the Old Florida Fish House. we picked this condo for it's easy beach access, unfortunately when we used the private beach…read moreaccess we were met by the security guards for Sugar Dunes, and the neighboring private beach who informed us we could not use the public access to spend the day at the beach. It was also not ok to use the Sugar Dunes beach as they have revoked their policy to allow our condo of their beach. The policy for Beachside Villas still showed we could use their beach. We could also not leave our shoes and towels in the public beach area as it is a hazard. The condo was not clean enough or kept up enough for the amount you pay for it, especially not having the beach access as close as it is advertised. I would not stay here again. There are places along 30-a that are a little cheaper, appear much nicer, and own private beaches. the condo we stayed in had a horrible floor plan. we had 6 people in our party and we could not all be in the same room at the same time. We all felt banished to our rooms when we were all together. There are much better rentals out there and Transparency about the beaches would have been nice.
