Ambiance 10/10 When I first stepped foot into the…read morerestaurant, I instantly got this retro vibe. I just love the color of the seating and how comfortable the atmosphere was. Service: 10/10 The employees were very friendly. They were kind and had a nice smile on their face. That is what customers should be looking for when being approached by waiters or waitresses. They were very helpful with the menu option. Food: 10/10 I started with their hot chocolate with whipped cream. Man! It was delicious. The whipped cream, by the way, is optional. It does not automatically come with the hot chocolate. The texture was just right. I picked a good day to drink hot chocolate. I have also ordered their standard Belgian Waffles with a side of sausage. I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed with the quantity of the waffle. They only give you one. Additionally, you'd have to ask for the butter. Butter does not automatically come with the waffles. The syrup is or at least should already be on the table once you're seated. Even though I only got one waffle, it was delicious. Furthermore, you have the option to add whipped cream to the waffles. They will add the whipped cream to the waffles for you. The same can be applied to pancakes. When all is said and done, they will offer you a blow-pop lollipop. Overall 9.5/10 I will be back. I am unsure if they do reservations. It wouldn't be surprising if they did. Their menu options and pricing were reasonable.

Sunday Brunch - 3:21 PM…read more Ambiance: We were greeted by a pleasant host who thoughtfully seated us based on our preferences and made sure we weren't placed near a speaker. That attention to detail was appreciated. The crowd was mature and respectful, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The music selection offered a nice variety and complemented the brunch experience well. Service: Our waiter was friendly and attentive. When I requested lemon and an additional brunch menu so my husband and I could each review the options, I learned that only one menu was provided for the table. Since I tend to take my time deciding what to order, having a second menu would have made the process much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. I asked for the menu and lemon he said he would come back and he NEVER did.. we had to ask for it twice . And at the time of ordering our meals it's then when they beamy us the lemons to squeeze into our glass of water. Food: I had the chicken and waffles . Nothing difficult to put together. However if you are going to state on your menu that it's chicharrón de pollo was bland no taste I had to ask for lime to give it some salty mess to it. My husband steak and eggs which came with rice. Steak was chewy he said it was ok nothing to brag. Over all I will give this place a 6 out of 10

Our drinks arrived promptly, I will say there was some inconsistency in how our drinks were mixed since one of the vanilla drinks was sweeter than the other but other than that all drinks were delicious. I asked to speak with the manager. Nadia came over. Her first response was to offer me another glass of water, which made no sense because my concern was the condition of the ice itself. She then offered water without ice. When I explained that I didn't want room-temperature water, she offered me a frozen drink, which I also declined. What stood out most was that the manager never apologized. Not once. I was instead handed a card for 25% off a future visit. After drinking from a glass and then discovering what appeared to be a dead insect frozen in the ice, I wasn't looking for an incentive to come back. A simple, sincere apology and some acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation would have been far more appropriate. My server, Imhotep, was excellent. He was attentive throughout the meal and repeatedly apologized for what happened, even though it was not his fault. His response was actually more professional and concerned than the manager's. The food was good, but finding what appeared to be a dead fly and other foreign material in the ice completely ruined my appetite and the remainder of the experience. I would strongly recommend that other patrons inspect their water and ice carefully before drinking it.
