So many of the newer "artisanal" bakeries are out of control, charging $10 for a slice of cake or $4 for a cookie. Tringali's has amazing prices on delicious desserts that rival those at bakeries elsewhere that charge 5x more. Tringali's has been around since 1958. It sells cannolis, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and even its own pasta products. There is currently a month long sale on pepperoni rolls for 99 cents. Their pepperoni rolls are fresh, humongous, and delicious. Where can you find anything these days that costs only 99 cents, let alone a large pepperoni roll? I also bought a few other things when I stopped in, including their frozen meat tortellini, an amazing peanut butter torte, and a slice of cherry cheesecake. Everything I've tried here tastes great. Don't overlook this unpretentious bakery in Warren. It's worth driving a little farther to keep places like Tringali's in business.

The donut was delicious! I haven't tried the banana pudding yet, but I can't wait to eat it! I'm definitely going back soon to try other goodies that they offer!

I was a bit disappointed they did not offer the assortment of plated sugar free cookies--not sure if they sold out or not longer offer them (it's a great option for diabetic friends). The confection selection arrived to its destination and was a great dessert option. The cassata cake and tiramisu were delicious. My daughter happily consumed her dot cake. The gluten free cookies were soft with a strong almond flavor and shaped like lady fingers. Hosts enjoyed cannolis and were gifted the remainder to enjoy later. Staff was attentive and accommodating. The interior is no frills and serves its purpose. There were several cases (not pictured) filled with yummy baked goodness, Italian wedding soup, pizza, muffuletta, breads, etc. Sadly, missed out on muffuletta (a great lunch/snack option), but maybe next time...

From the moment the phone was answered, I could immediately tell the employee was annoyed and had no interest in helping me. Her responses were short and rude things like "yup" and "what do you want?"and the entire interaction felt incredibly unprofessional. I was simply trying to place an order and give this business my money, yet I was made to feel like I was bothering her just by calling. The attitude became so frustrating that I ultimately ended the call rather than continue the conversation. Customer service matters, especially when someone is calling specifically because they want to support your business. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

The portions are huge. A "slice" is easily enough for two generous servings. At the last minute, I decided to add a Bumpy Cupcake, and I'm so glad I did! We always visit Christine's for their Bumpy Cupcakes, so I was honestly a little skeptical but WOW! This cupcake was super moist, with generous layers of buttercream and chocolate icing. It completely exceeded my expectations! Everything was delicious, the portions are generous, and we will definitely be back. So happy we found this bakery!

The owner took time to share the story behind the business, explaining how each cookie recipe ties back to Detroit's history and culture. I loved hearing about the creative inspiration behind the menu, especially learning that several cookies feature local Michigan potato chips (one even includes Fritos!) It's clear that every item is thoughtfully designed and tells a story. The fresh cinnamon rolls are apparently legendary, and after hearing how they're made fresh daily and regularly sell out, I completely understand the hype. The cookies themselves were phenomenal and honestly, some of the best I've ever had. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the quality was obvious. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was welcoming, passionate, and genuinely excited to talk about their products. The shop was spotless, inviting, and had the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. My only complaint? The prices almost felt too low for how incredible everything was. I can't wait to come back.
