Absolutely the best used car buying experience ever! These guys are complete professionals. I am difficult to deal with regarding large purchases. These fine people were patient and friendly the whole time. They not only helped me find the exact vehicle I wanted/needed but they were willing to negotiate, and helped me with my financing. Keep in mind these are used vehicles: After purchase, the vehicle had an O2 sensor go bad, no big deal. When I phoned to tell them, they were adamant about me bringing the vehicle back for repair. Not only was the bad sensor replaced but both sensors were replaced for good measure as well as an oil change, and engine test, NO CHARGE!! I was in and out in an hour. They legally had no obligation to repair anything after I left the lot as per our agreement but nonetheless... never had a dealer actually show that much care and decency. ...TRULY EXCEPTIONAL! Five Star Auto, I/we found this lil' through hours & days of scouring the web & with the help of a very good friend versed in economics & quality awareness who incidentally was a car salesmen in his hay day. Car dealerships have always been a difficult place for me. I find the sales people very pushy & in your space & that always makes for a very uncomfortable experience. The last vehicle I purchased the dealership really got me. "Saw me coming". So I'm vary wary of purchasing or even thinking about a new vehicle. Hence this review. Five Star auto had such a relaxing feel which was a huge relief. The atmosphere was literally a no stress zone which is fantastic because there is enough stress when buying a vehicle. Five Star auto is owned & operated by & through family. The vehicles in this tiny lot are outstanding & usually fully loaded. The prices are more than fair for the consumer. I bought a 2011 Altima 2.5 SL with 72,000 miles for 8,500. There are a few dings but leather heated seats, a moon roof & the Bose system are an easy trade for a few dings. Five Star auto has promised to fix anything wrong with my vehicle up to a year from the date of purchase. With of course no extra charges. Five Star auto wants you to drive their vehicles for at least an hour when deciding to purchase from them...Alone...Very early into your car buying experience the trust is built. Where as other dealerships want you to drive around the block with them in the car. Then make your decision. Usually on the spot. Not pushy at all... Five Star auto has been such a positive experience for me I can't possibly understand why anyone would go any where but here. I hope you come down to Five Star auto to see exactly what I am talking about. I am enormously grateful to Gus & the Five Star auto family. I will be purchasing my next vehicle from them. Not recommended. Went there to test drive a car that was posted on OfferUp. I was told it was not ready for sale yet because they were going to put new tires on it. I told the salesman, "Thats fine, I'd still like to drive it or another similar make/model/year." There were multiple cars that fit the bill but he asked me to try out a completely different car. Strange. Anyway, I took a look under the hood of the one I was interested in and there were missing fastners on the plastic part of the intake just behind the grill. I pointed these out. He said they could fix those if I bought the car.... Then i pointed out a missing bolt that holds the brake fluid reservoir in place. The salesman dismissed my comment as if it was no big deal because there was a second bolt holding the reservoir in place. I left and will not go back. read more

The perfect spot to get my new car. I was referred to them by my mechanic as my car just hit 180K miles and was not doing well after investing in quite a few repairs. From the very first moment I was very clear what I needed: a 4x4 with a spacious driver space as I'm a big guy and not all cars -even some big ones- deliver a driver space comfortable for someone my size. They offered me a number of cars and had no issues testing them all: they where always devoted to finding the right car for me since the very first moment.I tried SUV's, Trucks, and even though when I found no car that I fitted me (a very nice Ford explorer couldn't work because was not truly 4x4 )they kept searching until they found a car that suited me. At the end they offered me a very nice Grand Cherokee fully loaded that fitted my budget and included some nice things as a very comprehensive warranty in case anything happened. Also they have provided a great post sale service included good deals on maintenance and support getting the best out of my Grand Cherokee I'm truly impressed by them and I will definitely keep buying from them in the future! read more

Seeing as how there are no reviews for Five star autos i figured i'd write one up. I recently was in the market for a new used SUV. I shopped all around looked at many cars. I found the Infinity QX4 to be exactly what i was looking for. With that in mind i found EVERY QX4 for sell in the greater seattle area and set out to look at every single one. five star autos was by far the best experience out of all the other dealers i visited. The other dealers lots were sketchy, the employees sketchy, but not five star auto. All there cars looked great, all the staff was pleasent and friendly. Thomas Lee worked with me to get the QX4 in the price range i was looking for, the car was detailed nicely, everyone there was very friendly and professional. We had an issue with the qx4 the first day we went to look at it. They couldn't find the keys! seems they had grown legs. Well that didn't slow Thomas down, he quickly got on the phone and had a lock smith scheduled to come out and make a replacement. All in all i am happy with my new used car, happy with my experience with five star autos and wouldn't hesitate to go back again in the future if i ever am in the market for a used car. read more

But when I decided it was not the truck I was looking for he decided to act extremely immature and unprofessional and got upset that I would have the audacity to ask a sales "pro" questions about a vehicle they were selling. Interesting. When I talked to the guy at this location over the phone, he said that they do not have a page on yelp. Well, this all started with me buying a vehicle from another dealer on OfferUp. The sales person there was, and still is, out of town. He sent me to five star autos to deal with the financing there. I signed the paperwork and made an agreement to how much I would trade my vehicle in for, how much money I would put down on the new vehicle, and what my interest rate would be for the rest of the amount financed. A little more than a week later this guy calls me up and says that their financing department, or whoever, was not satisfied with my year to date amount, and wanted to increase the interest rate. Annoyed, and reluctant, I agreed, however being considerably far down south from Everett, I requested that the new document be emailed to me or sent through FedEx as suggested by the sales person. Sometime went by, and I never heard back even after reaching out again. Eventually they got back to me and wanted to know when I would be able to come up to their location. I was confused because I thought the arrangement was that they would send me the paperwork via FedEx. They decided to go back on that and started making it sound like I was the bad guy in this situation. Completely uncooperative, and I would never do business with this dealership ever. read more

I bought a 2005 Honda Accord from Five Star Auto. Thomas was great to work with, the whole process was incredibly easy. I am guessing this all went so well because they wanted this P.O.S. car off their lot. I test drove it and looked at the car fax and everything seemed great. About a week and a half into my purchase, the car alarm started to go nuts. There was an aftermarket "dealer" alarm left on my car, which cost $300 to remove. A week after that my tire was completely deflated, and as everyone knows, you can't buy just one, so that was another $300. So now, another week later, just got home from work and noticed my engine was smoking and I'm leaking gas. I haven't gotten the cost damage on that yet, it's not fun to have a car for less than 700 miles and have all of these problems. So, beware of five star auto, they're just putting lipstick on pigs. read more

Found a car we really wanted at Five Star. Spoke to the dealer 3 times by phone. Asked extensive questions about the vehicle. Website showed the car was in immaculate condition, gleaming, shiny, beautiful. Was assured that the car was great-carfax was clean, NO problems with the vehicle. Did all my own research as well. Arraigned to take a day off of work. We called and told them we would be there when they opened on a Thursday morning. Dealer Assured us someone would be there to assist us. Drove 51 miles to see the car we hoped to drive home. Got there 5 minutes early-Dealership wasn't open. Went down to look at the vehicle-it was way in the back, under a covering of dead leaves from a nearby tree. Car was filthy. Walked around the side of the car-and found the "Great car with NO problems" has been side-swiped. Waited 20 minutes, as I wanted to let them know exactly what I thought of their rude service.
