There's a really kind lady who works there. She was super patient and took the time to walk us around and show us how to use the payment system. My first order they didn't put any starch on the shirts, but I caught it when I picked up. There was no offer of a discount, nor of redoing the shirts. I went back again, and found they didn't starch my shirts enough - in all honesty, I wondered if they had done it at all, but they insisted they did. The two stars is for the price, but I will gladly pay more for better results.... you only get one first impression.

Long story long - My mom kindly dropped off my wedding dress while I was on my honeymoon. Someone has spilled red wine on it and we didn't want it to be permanently stained. That date was January 11, 2019. They insisted on a 50% deposit ($100/$220) for a wedding dress cleaning and preservation boxing. They gave a timeline of 1-2 months with the receipt saying to come pick up Feb 11, 2019. I gave them the full 2 months and went back the week of Mar 8, 2019. After 2 months, the dress was still on the "intake" rack and had not been touched. Wine stain and all. The man said "2 more weeks" and laughed. Apparently it's funny. I gave them 3 weeks. I went back and it was clean but not boxed. "1 more week." I finally went back on Apr 30, 2019 and it was finished. The man laughed again and offered me a 9% discount. This was after I had to argue with him because he tried to tell me I already got a $100 discount. No sir, $100 is the amount of the deposit. He tried to tell me that because other customers take too much time to get their wedding dresses back, it wasn't a big deal.

Our house has been using Parkway for years. I really resented the way I was treated! Hello all you consumers - PARKWAY recycles and reuses the wire hangers they give us and we return. Sorting the hangers is a courtesy, not an obligation. As a customer, I do it begrugingly but it is NOT my job. We are not paid to their work. I suggest management have a talk with their help so they understand the relationship: we consumers/customers pay Parkway for a service. We assist them to be responsible in the community by bringing back plastic and hangers. It is not our job to sort them. That's a courtesy. Period.
