Staff were extremely friendly as we made our way to the outside eating area (a nice touch on a hot summers day) and were told to order our food and drinks at the counter. They don't serve alcohol, which can be a blessing when not wanting to pay London prices for a quick beer with the meal. The menu is not loaded with choices, which usually means a simple selection done very well ans this place is no exception. After visiting a number of burger places in Central, you get used to ordering fries as an extra, but here they are included in the (very reasonable) price. We chose the veg burger with a side of onion rings, and the presentation was very American diner-esque (all food served in little baskets). The rings were massive and served piping hot. Burgers were great and served on a lovely fresh bun, with rustic fries on the side. The Oreo milkshake was fantastic and reasonably priced. £21 for two burgers, shakes, and a side to share is fantastic value for money and we will definitely be visiting again. For meat eaters out there, they also do three food challenges in a Man-v-food stylie so I'm sure it'll attract some of you big eaters out there.

I stumbled upon Chixys Grill by chance one night while perusing just-eat. Reviews were good so I thought I would give it a try. *Disclaimer* I am sick, yes SICK of takeaways around Brunel charging obscene amounts of my hard earned for what amount to poor quality burgers, donners, chicken, you name it, I can guarantee if you have something delivered it will arrive in a hard bun with a dolop of overpowering sauce and rubbery meat. Not much else but rubbery chips to go with, almost always costing over four pounds. *Disclaimer* Chixys Grill however is oh so different. I ordered the Sizzlers Mix Grill Large which consists of: 7 pieces of chicken tikka, 3 lamb chops, 2 kebabs, 3 wings & 2 pieces of chicken and the Quarter Pounder Burger Meal because im just fat like that! Ok so, the chicken tikka pieces were juicy, succulent and tender, perfect starter to prepare me for the lamb chops. Lamb Chops, oh my you beauties, these were proper tasty, meaty chops that I just could not get enough off, in fact I wish there were more than three! Proper slab of flame grilled beef, fresh salad and lovely subtle sauces topped and tailed with top quality buns. If Burger King did takeaway this is what it would be like. Struggling to move I reach for my phone and give Chixys Grill a call. I tell them how happy I am with my meal and how I am now defiantly a repeat customer. I will order again! Maybe. Beef Burger, I went for the 10oz, which is big enough. Don't expect anything special, it's a well done lump of burger beef. Pricing at this place is random. Chicken fillet burger is 1.99 for something that isn't a little mini fillet. Beef Burger however isn't worth the 7.50 and neither is the single burnt strip of bacon that they charge one pound for. You get a choice of burger names to pick from, all for the same price; same price if you pick the one with BBQ sauce, same if you get the one with extra cheese and chicken fillet. Random pricing. For a new joint the service isn't exceptional enough to drag customers back in either, since the food clearly won't. Watching the staff being unreasonable and arguing with another customer in front of me isn't going far to help their business either. I wish them the best, but I won't be going back.

Beef Belly is one of my favourite take away joints and the burgers are some of the best take away burgers I have had. I have often catered for adhoc last minute meals for friends and family from Beef Belly and the feedback has always been very positive! The food isn't the fastest to prepare but I don't mind that as its cooked on the grill in front of you and there is no microwave or precooked food in sight! It's burgers and Piri Piri Chicken beat most of the take away's in the Uxbridge area and I have tried most.
