Our chef took the time to come speak with us, recommend cuts of beef and generally go over our options. This was a lovely surprise as this rarely happens. We started with "fall off the bone" ribs and the Hallumi - (squeaky cheese - wish I could find this here in SoCal... if anyone reading this knows a place... please let me know!) We ordered rib eye steaks, I had the filet... with sides of creamed spinach/truffle fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was cooked to our liking, and the chef came back out to check on us. The lobster Mac, while it had large chunks of meat, was extremely bland and overall disappointing. The steak was medium rare, not medium like I ordered, but I didn't bother saying anything because I had no faith that it would be remediated appropriately. It was also the thinnest cut of steak I've ever paid almost 50.00 for. The lobster was very low on the meat, the claw had the biggest piece. The tail had minimal meat and as expected based on the time it took to "cook" it, was very chewy and bland. It felt like it was microwaved, which is the laziest and worst way to cook lobster. Our bill came to a little over 100 and was honestly not worth it. Do yourself a favor and save your money.
