When it comes to fries, Five Guys has you covered. While training for our marathon, my friend and I would drop in to this Five Guys after new milestones to celebrate with a mountain of crispy, flavorful fries. You have the option of ordering your fries regular or "cajun"; why get them plain when you can get them COATED in enough cajun spice to make your mouth dry as the Sahara from all the sodium? No no, this is not a bad thing. This is one of those "it's so bad for you that it's good" situations. The restaurant has that typical "fast food" feeling inside, but you better believe it when I tell you that getting a small order of fries at Five Guys amounts to a large order of fries at your favorite drive-through both in size and taste. My fries have always been just the right amount of crunchy, fresh, and slightly juicy. Five Guys never disappoints. read more

The burger I ate here was small and overcooked, and tasted almost wholly of nothing. I say "almost wholly" because one small bite tasted faintly of meat, in a generic kind of way (one could tell it was beef by a process of elimination: it clearly wasn't lamb, or pork, or venison, or . . . . So it must have been beef). On the plus side, I couldn't detect any artificial flavorings. I didn't try any of the toppings. In a place that's aspiring to offer more than just junk food, one might be forgiven for hoping that at least some of the dressings would be freshly made, perhaps even in house, from fresh ingredients. Not a bit of it. The only things on offer were commercially available junk products. Hugely disappointing. But all is not lost: another, much better, chain is next door, for the same price. read more

I have been here many times and most of the time had a good experience. I visited Sunday night, Nov 26, 2017. We were greeted by a very unenthusiastic girl. Another girl leaned on the outside of the counter talking to the cooks the whole time we were there. By the way...not the first time she has done it. I don't know if she was off work, but it is very unprofessional. The manager should not allow it. Last of all some boy came out to clean up tables. He used the same towel on the tops of the tables and the chairs. I feel like I should report that to the health dept. Not the best experience. read more

The bacon cheeseburger was gigantic, so props for that. But everything was very soggy, from the buns, to the vegetables, to the meat itself. After eating that I could not eat anything else. I am currently in the bathroom of chipotle expelling the liquid mush that the burger turned into. I really used to like Five Guys. I may be getting too old for this crap (literally and figuratively). read more

The staff here was THE BEST... I have been to 4 other Five Guys and these guys were the best. We went in for the food and stayed for the comedy. Great fast quality food at a good price. read more

Typical Five Guys, awesome Cajun fries and some pretty good burgers. They recently started offering shakes. I had an Oreo cookie shake and it was darn good. Solid. read more

Walked there for supper . Bartender recommend the burgers. Jalapeño burger is excellent. While there it started pouring rain and as I said I was walking . Bartender hooked me with a ride to my hotel. Could not of asked for better people would definitely go back read more

Went to the place expecting awesome burgers like everyone has said bit instead myself and the 3 people that I was with all her sick after 20mins of leaving the place. I'm not sure if it was the burgers or the fries but I will never eat here again after we all got as sick as we did, And still sick the next day. This place ruined our trip to Notre dame. read more

A fantastic American burger restaurant. Although the prices are higher than your typical fast food chain restaurant, the freshly made food, incredible fries, and quick service is worth the extra dollar or two. Five Guys is also provides great fundraising options for high school and college clubs and organizations. Overall, a very great experience! read more

Worked with them for a fundraiser and they were absolutely wonderful! helped with advertising and were very quick to provide us with the funds earned. The food was super as always and the banana milkshake was delicious (and made with real bananas!) read more

Five Guys first of all has amazing food and milkshakes! They were very kind and willing to host a fundraiser for my school's club which we received 20% of the profits from the fundraier's sales as well as $1 for each milkshake! The service is always friendly and quick! read more

I placed a web order. On their web site it states that when you go pick up your order, there could be a short wait if you ordered french fries - they're cooked to order, and will be dropped when you arrive. Got it. Online it says order will be ready at 6:55 pm. I show up at 7 and inform them of my web order. I notice two orders sitting on top of the fry warmer. 20 minutes later, after watching several tall kids (basketball team?) get their orders with accompanying fires (6 batches), I ask again. Again I'm told I'll have to wait for the fries to be cooked. After informing them that I've just observed at least 6 batches of fries get served while my order is going cold, someone makes the decision to pour a few fries into my cold bag of food and send me on my way. It's humiliating enough to resort to ordering fast-food because of working all day at a job, but to get lied to and forced to wait is beyond the pale. read more

Richard C. There is no other chain burger joint in Eddy street commons, so pretty sure you didn't eat at five guys as the small is a qtr pound burger and the regular is two of those. Never dry sometimes a little greasy but never dry if it was you should have taken it back, as they have always had great service! So might want to make sure you are reviewing a restaurant you have visited. I hate people that put up false reviews because they like to be morons, the whole idea is to give honest reviews to perpetuate good restaurants and help locals and out of Townes find a good meal, not slam a business because you have no brains!!! read more

First time at a Five Guys, and I'm sadly unimpressed. The service was friendly and prompt, but with all the hype about this place, I expected better quality all around. The classic burger featured two bland, greyish patties (it seemed they were completely unseasoned), pink--almost translucent--tomato slices, and a soggy bun. I ordered the Cajun fries alongside, and they were nice for the first five minutes, but I ended up eating less than half of them because they also were excessively greasy (and I've never turned down diner food before) and more or less like a salt-lick. I wouldn't choose this over any fast-food burger, and the cost was eight or nine dollars, without including a drink. read more

Food is good. Portions of fries are VERY large. A large fry can easily feed 4 people. I like the free peanuts; nice to munch on while waiting for your order. My only complaint is the high prices. The burger portions are very large though, so if you are hungry you will not walk away dissatisfied. read more

Our not-for-profit youth ministry has held "give back nights" at many local restaurants but Five Guys has been my favorite. We have held two and have two more scheduled for future months. The kids get to order and pay and then go visit their friends while they wait on their food. No servers to frustrate when the kids aren't in their original seats. And the menu prices means everyone can find something to eat - even vegetarians. We are so grateful to Five Guys for supporting the not-for-profits of our community! read more
