I walked in for dinner and headed to the right side of the room. Instead of taking the path to the cash registers to order I opted to use one of their kiosks, which was super easy. With so many topping choices it was easier to just touch screen pictures than asking a staff member to list what my choices are and for him to listen to what I wanted. That means my only interaction with people working there was thanking the guy who called my number and handed me my bag of food. That went well. As for the food, I got their Bacon Cheeseburger and a milkshake with a coffee mix-in. The burger was large, a little messy, and delicious, two hands needed. I didn't like the milkshake. I had seen on their website Five Guys had decided to offer the coffee mix-in permanently and assumed it was popular and that it would be similar to coffee ice cream. Nope, it wasn't. It was not sweet, it tasted like just adding strong drip coffee to the vanilla ice cream base. I'm sure I would have liked another of their dozen mix-ins options more. Five Guys has free peanuts. I didn't indulge but I saw other customers taking advantage of this perk. This Five Guys has plenty of indoor seating and also some tables outside. The place felt clean, what with all the red & white shiny walls. A very distinctive look, complete with bags of potatoes stored in the dining area. read more

Took my son here yesterday before playing golf. He ordered a cheese burger and regular fries plus a drink. i I ordered a regular hamburger and a drink. We enjoyed the salted peanuts in the shell while waiting. The burgers and the fries are some of the best around however our order came to $35. I couldn't believe how much they have raised their prices over the last couple of years. So I mark them as a gauging restaurant. I'll stick to Culver's which is over 30% cheaper. Service was good . Firstly, the burgers and fries are good and what you'd expect from any Five Guys location. As per usual you are inundated with more fries than you could ever possibly eat, but they're tasty. My burger was juicy and toppings were correct though my bun was struggling to hold it together. My lack of stars comes from the lack of milkshakes and the lack of notification online about no milkshakes. You can order online. It allows you to add a milkshake with mix-ins to your cart. Then the cart will glitch but not say something useful like "no milkshakes at this location". So you presume you can just go place the order at the restaurant for everything. No. Annoying since this was the draw of going to this particular chain. But you're already there, so you guess it's just burgers. Argh. read more

Yes... I went to the original Five Guys in Washington DC and this place is pretty good. It isn't "as good" but it's a good average of Five-guys good. The place is clean, the fries are delish and oily and the burger is packed with flavor. I was slightly disappointed with the amount of fires they put in my bag. It wasn't the usual heap-o-fries I've become accustomed to. It was barely the small order I asked for. (Big crying face) but any way I suppose my wife is happy that I didn't eat the additional 1000 calories of fries. But it did detract from the experience. Booo read more

Well, the New Five Guys fails miserably!! Called the order in, I was 2 mins away. Paid for it and waited, waited & waited. Finally, went to the register and asked about my number...oh your food is over here, they said. Got home and everything is soggy! Nasty! $23 dollars later for 2 hamburgers, 2 fries & 2 drinks. I am not happy and won't be going back. I normally get a "call in" hamburger at Applebee's across the street. But, I wanted to give these "Guys" a try. With Applebee's I can have my fries cooked with NO salt, crisp and my hamburger wrapped so that I put it all together when I get home and it is NOT A SOGGY GOO! It looked like it was just slapped together really fast. This was my first Five Guys experience so I will have to give it another try. Hard to find, but "kitty corner from Hooters". Fries very salty but good - as others say (guess it's the fat fry) after even a 5 minute ride home, take-out fries were soggy. If you want a burger in Sarasota then you have found the place. The burgers are almost the best I have ever had. Today I took my employee to five guys for the first time in his life....... I am still wondering how!!!! We both got our bags and he looked in and said, "I think they forgot my burger!". I told him to dig under the mound of great fries and he will find it. As every time I come here, I couldn't be happier. The burgers are the best and there is no way to describe the fries. For as many fries as you get..... I still want more!. The employees that work there are the most friendly, fast and attentive you could ever ask for! This places atmosphere is as good as its food the attention to detail is amazing. everything is either white or red in a pattern including the lamps. The bathrooms are very nice - the paper towel dispensers are red. The food is very good however not as good as cheeburger cheeburger. They only have one type of cheese-american so if you dont like that cheese get the hamburger. The music they play here reminds me of good old Cleveland rock and roll.
