Love this location! Friendly service from enthusiastic employees! The restaurant is very clean, the food is excellent as always. I am a huge Five Guys fan because their food is always hot and fresh, prepared exactly to order. For this visit I ordered a veggie sandwich with cheese and Cajun fries. Not fast food but definitely food worth waiting for. One of my favorite casual dine restaurants. read more

I come here all the time but tonight I went and they gave me a undercooked burger. As a very hungry pregnant woman I'm so disappointed. It was not packed at all so I don't understand the rush on the food. They had me waiting on fries, when they should've been still cooking my burger. Like I said it's not usually like this but tonight I'm highly disappointed being that I'm hungry, pregnant, and don't feel like going back out to get something different. I can really get sick and so could my unborn child from this. read more

All ladies crew tonight and they worked great together. The place was very clean and all the condiments were fully stocked. The burger was cooked at perfection and the little fry they give you feet of family of four. Great job ladies! read more

Great Food always has my order correct and ready for my pick up time. They never get my order wrong and the restaurant is very clean.

they smash your burger before they put it into the bag. Why do you do this? My burger should file charges. Nobody wants a burger that looks sat on. Going to burger king instead read more

Five Guys - Ass Bacon Cheeseburger - Burgers Near Me - Munster, Indiana

We decided to switch up our burger night from Schoops to Five Guys. I was anxiously anticipating those cajun fries! We appreciated that the staff waited until we arrived to pick up our order to assemble our food. The burgers and fries were delicious and fresh. The problem was in the packaging of the food. Burgers and fries are packed in the equivalent of paper lunch bags. In addition, a generous extra cup of fries are poured into the bag. The steam from the hot burgers and the grease from the fries disintegrate the flimsy bag rather quickly. We requested a plastic shopping bag to place the food bags in to help keep everything together. We were told, "no." I wonder why. The customer ahead of us was given one. So, back to Schoops. We won't be back to this Five Guys. read more

The burgers aren't bad, but I really dislike the fries. I find five guys to be both over hyped and overpriced. You want a great burger locally go to schoop's read more

Small, way overpriced burger and bun was cold. I could have gone across the street to sonic for half the price and gotten a bigger burger with a warm bun. Only thing good were the fries. read more

Great customer service and very nice. They're were out of lettuce wraps and went above and beyond since they were out.

I'm starting to really get fed up. when this location doesn't receive a tip. They will purposely do your order bogus. today. I came in ordered and waited a few minutes like usual then I get to work & open my bag and my poor burger is smashed not your traditional press down type of burger I mean that the lettuce looked processed into the bun.. this is ridiculous and it has been done to me numerous of times only when I leave a zero dollar tip I have tried calling and asking for the manager. The employees seem to take it as a joke and hang up or say they will be back 30 seconds later they hang up. This is ridiculous. read more

Picked up lunch here this past week and was pretty disappointed. There was one employee visible for about the first 5 minutes of my visit and then a woman came from the back in a black shirt (manager?) she didn't greet me she just stood in front of the computer with dripping wet hands and by the look on her face I could see she was ready for me to say what I wanted to order. So I ordered. She then left the other employee in the front alone again to prepare all the orders by himself. 20 minutes later our lunch was ready. The fries tasted kind of burnt to me but my burger was superb. I love five guys food and realize employees are under a great deal of pressure but I didn't like how she was letting one guy do all the work. Also the big bags of peanuts were stacked on the counter where the orders are supposed to be given to the customers. It just seemed like this place was a complete mess behind the counter. Neither employee seemed happy to be there especially not the manager. read more

I have been eating 5 guys for the last few years . I have never had a problem with any other the location. When you want that backyard/home cook cheese burger and the best and must fires for your buck this the place for me. May be more expensive then your normal burger spot but I always get want I pay for when I go there great food, great service and a clean restaurant.... read more

The best burgers I had in this area! My grandkids love to go there. I absolutely recommend this place.

Really wanted a REAL burger today. So where else to go and get one?!? Never a bad idea not too busy this visit. Lunch rush came about 20 min later. Parking can be kinda an issue but I would blame the town for that! LOL read more

I live not far from FG and I'm disappointed this restaurant went in instead of some of the others I heard rumors of. Their burgers are good, not great. Maybe they were over hyped. I would go to Schoops over FG any day. Their fries are a soggy mess of grease. The last part that makes me never go there is the parking lot for all those business's is way too small. I do not recommend, there are much better options read more

When I walked into the store, everything was clean and bright. Customer service is really good and I'm big on that. The cashiers are usually friendly, attentive and enthusiastic and ready to help with your order. The wait varies but never seems to be more than 10 minutes long. As for the burgers... Delicious! I love how they come in different sizes too and they're made really well. They offer hot dogs and now sandwiches, but I have not quite tried them yet. Their fries are always crispy and fresh and always spill over the cup because they add extra to your bag. I love coming here, and this location is fairly convenient, but the parking lot is way too small. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a good burger and some fries. read more

Food is very greasy and very messy, but I stopped in one evening because everywhere else was closed. After waiting at the counter for some time and wondering why multiple employees saw but ignored me, finally a manager came to say they were closed. I pointed out that the open sign was still on. She said, "That's fine." . . . It wasn't fine for me who just wasted 10 minutes. Weird! read more

So today I tried Five Guys which was my first time and I must say I wasn't impressed. I consider myself a hamburger expert and I'm just not sure what was going on here. I hear a lot of hoopla about this place but I wouldn't put it above any other regular burger spot. read more

Great Little Bacon Cheeseburgers!!! The Cajun fries are my Hubby's favorite, while I get the five guy fries. But I tend to take his left over fries that fill the bag and mix them with mine. The burgers are always cooked perfectly. The staff is pretty great. They always greet you, even the ones working the line. The place is clean and well maintained. read more

We just finished a great fundraiser with Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Munster, Indiana. We had a great experience and can't wait to work with them again! read more

Food quality is great. Everything is made fresh right there in front of you. Burgers are very good and juicy. Fries are ok, just tell them to take it easy on the cajun seasoning. Only downfall is that this place is kind of expensive. For a double cheese burger, fries and drink I paid almost 15 dollars. If you're coming in for a family night out make sure you bring a few extra dollars with you. Its a great clean place to eat every once in a while. read more

I love their burgers they r soooo good and big I go there any time I can I took my cousin that came from Mexico because he wanted some good burgers and he loved them!!!! read more

Let's just say I won't go back. My bun was soggy and the fries were very salty. They were not edible at all. For the price they should have better quality food. Well Five Guys, I will stay with Schoops, better quality food, better prices, great place for good food! read more

For fast food this place is pretty good. I hear lots of people complaining about Five Guys, but again, it's fast food. They aren't pretending to be gourmet. I think the burgers are actually great and love that they have a ton of toppings to choose from. The french fries are good as well and I believe they finally have a small size now. The staff at this location is really sweet! read more

Last night I called an order into the Munster Indiana store. The order was taken by Emilee who by the way was most engaging over the phone. I explained to her that both my wife and I are handicapped and if someone could meet us in the lot and bring the order to my wife. Without hesitation Emilee said no problem. By this simple gesture she has made me a customer for life.5 Guys your the best read more

Very good burger, fresh real fries, a multitude of soda favors. Wonderful good burgers, try it you will love it.

This place is so expensive for what you get. Clean restaurant with a super nice staff or I would rate it lower. Don't get me wrong, the quality was good but gee, same food as everyone else. read more

Na, for the money I pay for one hamburger and a bag full of over salted and over greasy fries, I can make three good hamburgers at home. The hamburgers are nothing special and then they fill the whole bag with greasy, soggy and over salted fries. read more

Hated it! Overly salted fries. Burnt, hard well-done hamburger. SWEET, head sickening chocolate shake. Paid $35.00 for four burgers, one large SALTY fries, chocolate shake, and large soda/pop. Almost $6.00 for a double hamburger WITHOUT FRIES! I requested grilled onions and extra mushrooms. Difficult to find and/or taste the tiny onions, and the mushrooms were tasteless. Tasted my son's cheeseburger, and wanted to spit it out. VERY SALTY, DRY AND OVERCOOKED. Reminded me of a Wendy's cheeseburger, which I truly dislike. Loud in-store music! While waiting for our food, my husband and sons tasted the free peanuts. Immediately, my sons (4- and 6-years-old) spit it out and said, "they're too salty. I don't like them!" Then, my husband, who LOVES salt and peanuts, tasted them. He remarked about their saltiness. I thought dining-in meant you're served on a clean, sanitary tray. Nope. Order is prepared and given to the customer in a big, brown bag. Also, we cleaned the table before eating. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone especially someone with high blood pressure. Will I return? NO! Will I recommend the place and/or its food? NO WAY! If these are the best burgers around, that's a sad testimony! Positive: Nice, friendly employees. read more

The food was good the atmosphere not so good very cold and drafty the music was blaring way too loud and the quality of the sound system very sub-par[sounded like shit]the stereo salesman must have seen these guys coming;to a point where the crappy sounding music made my ears hurt and that is not a plus when you are trying to enjoy yourself. read more

Not bad. Good burger. Lots of fresh cut fries. Pricey milk shake. Overall good.

YUUM! Tho just a tad pricey, FG has delicious big juicy burgers and their fries are to die for. Every time you walk into a FG, you are welcomed by the staff, and every time you leave you are told "goodbye!" I love the friendly atmosphere, especially since it seems like the workers actually enjoy working there and are always super nice. I know the parking lot is not the best, but how is that the restaurants fault? They have a section that is specially for there restaurant, and most the time there is parking there so its not a big deal, you just have to be patient because all of the drivers that don't know how to drive in parking lots. I don't think in any way that it affects FG food or quality as a restaurant/ fast food place read more

I have eaten at a lot of different Five Guys across the U.S. because of traveling for college and this one is exceptional. The people are all extremely friendly and it's very clear that they love their jobs. The food is also great (but you can expect that at any Five Guys). It's nice to see and be around people like the employees there; they make a huge difference! - "BLT no mayo" read more

Used to be good, franchise is too big now and quality has gone way down since. Burgers are nothing special compared to other burger chains, fries are super soggy and never have very much cajun or salt depending on which you order. This location is always cold and you can see the light fixtures swaying below the vents. Parking lot is super tiny, usually park my truck in Dunkin Donuts parking lot. Schererville location is MUCH better if you really want Five Guys. read more

I frequent this location on average 2-3 times a month. Love love love the food. Great service. Place is clean. The one thing I hate is how loud the music is. Tonight customers couldn't even hear their numbers being called. I always get carry out because dining in makes it impossible to carry on a conversation. I recommend Five Guys to many people but tell them carry out only. After a hard day at work, the last thing I want is blaring music. Definitely not for families. read more

I went to FG for the third time. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers. They ran out of jalapeños. Instead of refilling the condiment bar, the young man preparing the sandwiches broke a fresh jalapeños with his hands and finished my order. The section of onion on my burger made it difficult to eat. I have never had a positive experience at FG. I will stick to Schoop's and Culver's. Their customer service is superior. read more
