Really good juicy burger. I wasn't expecting two patties but it was do able and yummy
Amber H.

I've been wanting to try this place ever since it opened but just never did until this year! The French fries: they are good they remind me of the awesome ones over at New York fries you know with the skin still on long thick cut. Delicious. Crispy. Salty. Those fries would be awesome with a poutine! The hamburger: two well seasoned patties on a steamed bun with pickles onion mayo mustard lettuce. You can pick up to 16 condiments but I rather less so it's not so soggy. Very fresh and delicious hamburger. Cheeseburger bacon: the cheese is not sliced it's a sauce kinda like Uniburger but way more messy and actually I feel like it ruined the burger. Got a load of toppings but it ended up being to much. Hot dog: awesome ! They butterfly it in a crispy bun with cheese and you can add wtv toppings you want.

Delicious food, always great and fresh. I usually come here because I work in the area and it's the only place that's relatively cheap compared to all the other fast food/take out restaurants in the area. Since it's been cold out, I've been going for their poutine. It is delicious. The fries are always fresh and golden, perfect for a poutine. The cheese curds come from closed packages and are not too chunky. I believe they make their own "sauce brun" (gravy lol) and it doesn't get too thick unlike others. Overall great poutine, very filling and great value (Side note: I've had their burgers, regular fries and Cajun fries. I recommend trying them all. Their regular burgers come with 2 patties. They also offer single patties at a slightly cheaper price. Make sure to ask for 1 pattie if you opt for that as they will assume you want the regular one (2 patties). Their Cajun fries are alright. It's just a seasoning that they put on them, sometimes a little too much but still tasty. Their regular fries are delicious, as previously mentioned.) (Another side note: when ordering fries, they add 1.5x the amount so make sure to only get a small!)

Their burgers are amazing. I once invited my father and another time my sister. Both had the same reaction when they took their first bite: this burger has so much flavour! I am always amazed that the fries overflow their cup. I know it is done on purpose to give you the positive feeling of getting more fries that you are supposed to. Still, not a lot of restaurants are this generous. Avoid their milkshakes and poutine. Focus on the burgers and fries; that is where they excel.

Not what we expected. Too heavy price for the quality and not enough variety in the menu. I want chicken and avocado hambugers please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The meat was excellent, very good quality compared to McDeez, BU' BU' we never received the milkshake. It was strawberry milkshake and I was really looking forward to it. Devastating. The poutine was fine but the cheese was very very much melted. However, the CAJUN fries were good, even though we did not have any mayo to eat it with. That's not on you though, it's on us. Fridge was empty. Overall, thank you for the experience. Good luck with the future!!!! :---))))))

First time here, the food is awesome, quantity more than ample. Service top notch. Only problem, 7 young women behind the counter, music way too loud.

Even anti-fast-food foodies will enjoy a meal at 5 guys! Bare bones menu, fast service, and well prepared grub - makes for the ultimate fast-food combo. Atmosphere: 5-Guys Hamburger is a the fastest growing fast-food chain in America (2010/2011) due to their no-nonsense approach to fast food. Unlike to-remanin-unnamed international fast food franchises who have a menu consisting of 101 items in a failed attempt to please everyone, 5-Guys is unabashed by its offering of the Hamburger. 5-Guys Burger is like that really self-confident member of any group; he/she could be wearing a pink sock and a white too-too and still be down to going out and having a ball - no shame. Service: Haven't had bad service yet, the guys and gals working there tend to be older i.e. college age as opposed to high school etc. They seem to work well together - training (?) - giving them a sense of togetherness not often found at fast-food joints. This translates into quick and correct service for the consumer. Food: With or without cheese, with or without bacon, regular size or small ... simple. Oh you want a hot-dog, ok fine - they throw that in there on the menu. Fries? Ok salted or cajun (get cajun!). Even better the portions are incredibly generous and often times the cooks just make your order a double just to be funny ~ love that. The toppings are fresh (onions, lettuce, tomato, jalapeño, etc.) and it hard not to ask for all of them! The buns is what really pulls the whole mean together. They shrink a little bit due to being more buttery than ordinary buns and melt right into the meat, cheese, and sauces of the burger so that when you bite into your meal, you'll have to watch out not to bit into your own fingers! (not that you'll care at that point - this burger is that good!) Complimentary peanuts on the house and free drink refills - so watch out! Go and enjoy when you're feeling a little food-naughty :O) Yelp on friends

The restaurant is kind of dirty, the service is ridiculously slow, and the food is not good. You're better off going to McDonald's.

Date of visit: June 11, 2023…read more The homeless people standing outside should have been a warning; not even they want the food here! The whole place seemed dirty and greasy, and the bakery case looked like a McDonald's marketing team's worst nightmare; nothing in there appeared even remotely appetizing. I could not wait to leave and we only came here because the A&W down the street closes at 9 pm and they wouldn't serve us, despite the big "24 hours" neon sign in their window...

Order has to be placed and paid for, prior to getting to the table, on the upper level. Service was mediocre and we were given a beeper that would go on, when the order is ready for pickup and bring to the table. I was expecting the place to be packed for lunch on the last day of the year, and interestingly enough, it was rather quiet. While I wrote earlier that the decor and furniture was inviting but what good is that when it was barricaded, and therefore not accessible. I tried the Royal poutine that has multiple toppings, including smoked meat, bacon etc. Quality was just plain simple with the toppings being very dry. Smoke meat has to be moist and juicy, but was anything but this. The burger was just plain ok and nothing extraordinary.

Didn't feel like traveling further for breakfast so my partner stopped in and ordered while I waited outside with our pup. Took about 15 minutes and then we took our bagels a few steps away to sit in a public area and eat. I felt obligated to try a real Montréal bagel so I believe we paid a whopping $15 each for these. Being from New York I'm a bit of a bagel snob so I kind of knew these wouldn't be up to par with my standards. I will say I did enjoy the taste but as predicted I prefer a New York bagel. Especially at this cost! Granted we were in a tourist area so I probably should have known better and just traveled further to one of the dedicated St. Viateur locations.

Whenever I don't know what to eat but still want something good (and not too heavy), this is usually it. The chicken is always solid. Juicy, well cooked, and actually seasoned properly, which is not always the case at places like this. You can tell it's marinated and not just grilled plain. I usually get a bowl and load it up with veggies and a sauce or two. The sauces are really what make it for me -- flavorful but not overpowering, and they don't taste artificial. What I like is that you can build the bowl however you want. Some days I go lighter, other days I'm hungry and add more. Portions are decent and I usually feel full after, not stuffed but satisfied. Price feels fair for what you get. The place itself is clean and simple, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff has been nice every time I've gone. Sometimes it's busy, but they still move pretty fast and don't make you feel rushed or ignored. It's not "fine dining" obviously, but it's reliable. And that matters. If you're looking for something fresh, filling, and easy, Poulet Rouge is a good choice. I'd recommend it, especially if you're tired of greasy fast food.
