TL;DR/The Short Version: Casual Korean eatery. Great combos…read morewith lots of variety. Everything was tasty. The Long Version: My husband and I went here for lunch. I got the fried chicken combo ($16.99) and my husband got the beef combo ($16.99). We requested no sesame seeds for our food and they accommodated by not sprinkling sesame seeds on the rice, japchae or beef, but they forgot that one of the fried chicken sauces has sesame seeds in it, so I had to give my husband that piece. We were going to share anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The Fried Chicken Combo came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, each one a different flavour: original, sweet and spicy, and soy garlic. The sweet and spicy sauce has sesame seeds in it. Since I can't eat sesame seeds but can tolerate slight contamination, I didn't bring it up and just gave that piece to my husband. Although in retrospect I should have alerted them for them to be more aware for someone else who might have a more severe issue. Both combos came with japchae, rice, 2 dumplings, and coleslaw. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was great. I liked both the original and the soy garlic. Hubby liked the sweet and spicy. The beef was tender and flavourful. And I liked that it was lean meat and not gristly. The dumplings were deep-fried and had pork and vegetables in it. The rice was nicely steamed and slightly sticky which I liked. The japchae was flavourful and had shiitake mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers and onions in it. It was little too oily for my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The combos also came with a can of soda or a bottle of water. My husband got a Coca Cola and I got a bottle of water, which I took to go to drink during my shopping adventures after lunch, since we were given tap water with our meal. Service was courteous and efficient. Lots of indoor seating with televisions playing K-pop music videos in the dining room. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs, so might be a problem for those with mobility issues. Review #18 (2025)

I did not know what to expect but as I visited one it is essentially using the chipotle model of build your own bowl and selecting your accoutrements. It's a simple menu consisting of chicken, seasoned in your choice of 4 flavors with 5 choices of base (brown rice, bulgar wheat, quinoa, lettuce or kale), 7 choices of sauce and vegetable toppings. Ordering was relatively easy starting with size of portion then based on size you can choose how you want your chicken flavored. Workers then assemble the bowl right in front of you production line style starting with the base, vegetable toppings, sauce and finally the chicken which is grilled then flavored and put in the bowl. The process went smooth and quick as they were really efficient with the assembly line. The taste of the flavorings in the chicken as well as the sauces made for a wonderful lunch. I was stuffed not sure how full I would be with the Rouge Bowl, I think I should have went with a mini. If you are in Canada, find a Poulet Rouge as it was a tasty and quick meal that was really delicious and fresh.

The staff were super friendly and walked us through the ordering process. They gave us great insight into the meat flavor options and their favorites. I chose the volcano chicken which wasn't very spicy but was VERY flavorful. This is the kind of healthy, quick meal I love. The interior of the restaurant is kept very clean and there's ample seating. I will be returning!

We ordered this on doordash on a lazy sat for lunch. It's so risky getting fried stuff delivered,…read morebut hey, we were desperate and on a fried chicken craving. We ordered a 3 piece (brown meat) and a bag of popcorn chicken. It arrived after 35-40 mins cuz we live a bit far and I was despairing that it would be a soggy, cold, sad mess. Instead, I opened the packaging (super cute btw), and was greeted by 3 gorgeously breaded fried pieces of chicken sitting gloriously on top of massive amounts of perfectly still crispy cavendish fries. How amazing of a chef must you be to keep fried chicken and fries this fresh after a 30 mins drive?! And the taste!! It was ridiculously moist on the inside, still warm (not piping hot of course), and that breading was one of the best I've ever tasted. Light, slight kick of spice, and super crispy. Fries were fantastic as well especially given how quickly cavendish fries can get mushy. These were crisp on the outside, and soft potatoey on the inside. The best part of the meal was the sauces. We ordered hoisin and wildflower hot honey. Holy hell was that wildflower hot honey good!! Had to wrestle it out of my husband's clutches and even then fight over drippings in the box. It's like a fancy Buffalo sauce, but with much higher quality ingredients and an addictive taste that went so well with everything else. Can't speak about service since we doordashed, but prices were a bit on the expensive side. Nonetheless, we now have a new fav spot for high tier fried chicken and it's Roch Le Coq!

Even the slider is a big portion of fried chicken. So going beyond the sandwich itself, the pickled Cole slaw?!?!?! That just takes the entire sandwich over the top! It's what definitely gives the sandwich a "spicy" kick in your butt! Ordered online, arrived a few minutes earlier, but they were fast! Purchased sandwiches as my "to-go" meal before heading to the airport. It was so worth the quick detour!
