I'm guessing this McDonald's is near a school because it was packed with rowdy kids when I visited. Despite the chaos, the staff remained patient, professional, and kept things moving efficiently. You place your order at a kiosk, pick it up at the counter when your number is called, and can either take it to go or head upstairs to the seating area. One thing I enjoy when traveling is visiting McDonald's in other countries and trying menu items we don't have in the U.S. This time I ordered the veggie burger and poutine. Both were surprisingly good. The fries were hot and crispy, the cheese curds and gravy were flavorful, and the veggie patty was crispy on the outside while still tasting fresh. I could actually see whole vegetables in the patty, which made it feel less processed than expected. This is definitely a high-traffic location, and the dining area can get messy pretty quickly. That said, orders were taken and fulfilled accurately and fast. I'd happily return--just maybe not during the school rush. read more

This was the worst experience i've ever had at a mcdonalds. i've worked fast food before so i understand it gets difficult sometimes but this was ridiculous. i waited over an hour for my food. one of the workers was on his phone, the guy making the food moved so slow. the woman working wasn't packing orders at all and there was a giant pile of orders sitting and getting cold and she didn't pack them. when people started finally getting mad she was calling orders so slow and so quiet that a customer had to start doing her job for her by calling numbers and handing them out to the giant crowd of people who were waiting. the workers had no response to the crowd and didn't react or adjust their work ethic at all. by the time i got my food it was cold. it wasn't even that busy, ive been in busier crowds of customers and got served quicker. when my order went on the screen it was another 25 minutes until i actually revived my order. i honestly think that these workers need to be fired or trained better. read more

The worst service. Waited 30+ minutes for a coffee. The machine didn't print a receipt for me so I asked for help and they gave me the wrong number for my order. Had to find my own order from where they were all piled up. One person in our party had a cold coffee and they rudely refused to replace it - it had sat on the counter for who knows how long. I don't expect much when I go to a McDonald's but it's fast and convenient. This is the WORST McDonald's experience I've had. I went there for a late lunch today. There were two people on cash and about five people in line. Alas, I ended up with the slow stupid girl. The eating area is upstairs. I got settled into my seat and discovered that my food was cold. I didn't want to have to head back downstairs and go through it all again with the slow stupid girl so I ate it. it was nasty :( The counters behind the cash were littered with crap that should have been in the garbage (old coffee packages, etc.). It's a self-serve pop counter and that was covered in pink sticky juice. read more

Sometimes it's late and you crave a snack. I'm not alone, there were a bunch of people waiting for theirs too. Unfortunately this review won't be very good and their was only one redeeming factor that saved the dreaded 1*. I ordered a hamburger to go, and received a cold cheeseburger. While waiting a fair amount of time, I noticed how dirty and disorganized this particular location was. The bakery display case was less than half filled and full of crumbs, which gives you a feeling for what I mean. Granted it wasn't breakfast time, but this location is open 24 hours and can do better I'm sure. Now for that redeeming factor, when I brought the cold burger to the manager's attention, he only took a double take before offering me a replacement. I thought there may have been a rebuttal coming, but nope. I had considered, saying forget it and walking out, but I was pretty hungry. Upon self reflection, I should have gone to bed straight away. Note: I never thought I would be above the average with a 2* review. For the love of the golden arches, try to make some improvements. read more

Terrible location. Gave us no napkins; no butter or syrup with hot cakes. Went to get butter. Took so long hot cakes were then three frozen lakes of hell. Butter consistency was like flaky wet cement. Coffee tasted like an old fire pit. My boyfriend got some angus burger and mumbled "worst thing I have ever had" trying to chew it down. Gave me one sliver of bacon with hot cakes when menu photo clearly shows two slivers! Hash brown was good. Thank the lord. Honestly. Why did I even do this to myself. Also there's a guy eating by the window who looks like the lead singer of Chumbawumba. That's all you need to know. read more

This location is horrible. I mean we already know what to expect from the food but the service is so bad!!! One till open and I'm in a line up for the last 10 minutes just to get a coffee??? Then to get a receipt, instructed to the left to wait for my number to be called for a COFFEE!?!?! I feel like the service was so much faster before. This new system McDonald's has implemented, I'm sure was made for faster and more efficient service. When in fact it's slow as hell! The previous day I legit waited 25 minutes for my order and a man in front of me turned around and gave me his receipt for his food because he couldn't wait any longer! After waiting for my food for so long because they were visible working very slowly and having casual conversations I went up stairs to eat. After finally taking a bite it turned out to be cold.. After this I went to the toilet and the toilet seat was literally covered in feces it was absolutely disgusting. read more

I would not step into this McDonalds unless I was deeply hungry after a hard night of partying .It is unkept and home to a lot of homeless people- not that there is anything wrong with that. However, safety becomes an issue at this very spot. read more

I think two of McDonald's main creeds is make it fast and get it right. Visit #1: They we're so slow back there that it looks like there was a perpendicular line across the counter. Everyone already ordered, and was simply waiting. I counted 9 people standing left to right across the entire counter. Just waiting. Visit #2: It took 25 minutes to get my food. Actually at around 20 minutes when everyone else got their food and left I asked them where my food was, and apparantly they forgot my order. Suprisingly it still took another 5 more minutes to get me a replacement. The place is modern and new, but not very well cleaned. Overall I don't blame the workers for incompetence. I think management failed here. The place is hectic and the workers don't know what to do to manage it. The location and the new store is why I would kick this to 2 stars. read more

This is the slowest McDonalds I've ever been too. I just went in one morning for a couple Egg Mcmuffins and coffee and it took 15 minutes. I don't know if its a French Canadian thing but they can learn expediency from across the border, and yes I wasn't the only one frustrated it took so long, the locals were not happy either, LOL! read more
