we stopped by this five guys location recently and there were definitely some hits and misses. the fries were really good -- soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, just how they should be. the burger, though, could use a bit more flavor. even with A1 and hot sauce, it still tasted a little bland, like it was missing something to bring it all together. one thing i noticed was that the restaurant could've been a bit cleaner. there were peanut shells on the floor, some leftover food and sauces on the tables, and the hand sanitizer station was empty. even in the ladies' bathroom, there weren't any paper towels. my husband got some paper towels from the men's bathroom and we cleaned our table down. definitely felt like the place needed a little more attention. i'm not sure if it's just this specific location or something more common with the chain now, but i think there's definitely potential for a better experience with a bit more care. read more

Came here at 9:50pm which was this close to when it was going to close but luckily they still took our order. Even though this place isn't a halal restaurant per se, we ordered the regular cheeseburger (2 patties), instead of the little cheeseburger (1 Patty) and it came with no bacon. The staff was pretty busy with cooking and whatever so we found that the tables were left dirty. My partner went to the restaurant bathrooms with tissue and used soap and water to clean off the table for ourselves. Other than the messiness of the place - we found the burgers to be delicious, patties were juicy and cooked to perfection. I'd highly recommend coming back here! read more

We placed a takeout order for two cheeseburgers and fries at the Mavis Road location. The burger itself consisted of two patties and two slices of American cheese and was cooked to order on a flat top grill. Although the patties did not have the same caramelized crust as places like Burger's Priest, they were still tasty. Further comparing the Five Guys to Burger's Priest, Five Guys does not have as much variety on their burger menu, with options limited to cheese and bacon, but what they do offer is a good basic burger. For the toppings we both asked for mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, ketchup, and mustard. This combination actually turned out to be "All the way" hold the mushrooms in their order system. So, the next time, we will just for "All the way". The fires were very good as they were crispy and not overly oily. They are known for purposely overfilling the fries cup with an extra scoop, so the bag had almost as much fries as in the cup itself. Since the burgers are made to order, there was a wait, which is worth it for a freshly cooked burger. The service was fast and efficient. Overall, Five Guys offers a good solid basic burger with really good fries. We are planning on returning. read more

Never been to this location but I went and it was nice and clean and great good atmosphere the staff where nice and when your order you have you have to order everything by itself they don't have a combo but that's ok the burger was so good they put 2 burgers and double cheese in one burger and that's amazing and the fries is fresh and so good they have Cajun and salty and I recommend the Cajun but the salty is good too but they have hot dogs too but didn't try them yet so next time . Five guys... what can I say? It's always a satisfying experience every time I step in one. The one at heartland is located right off Mavis and Britannia in the plaza with the dollarama and Best Buy. Opening the door on a hot summer afternoon and we were greeted with a rush of warm air - the grills were hard at work. We ordered a bacon hamburger and a little hamburger as well as Cajun fries and a drink (free refill btw). It came to just over $24, a little pricey for fast food but let me assure you, well worth it! You get all the toppings you'd want all for free! Plus we snacked on free peanuts while we waited. The seating area away from the grills was still a little warm but not hot, I guess it's hard to keep the heat locked away in one area. Little Cheeseburger+Little Fries+Ice Tea So I made myself a Little combo here, because I have heard the regular burgers are massive. Place: This is a nice, big, and inviting spot although when you get the food, it gives you the feeling of those "hole in the wall" restaurants that are really great. The staff was really nice, very polite, and very helpful with my order. Food: So I tried the little fries and I chose to go with the Cajun style fries; let me tell you those fries are wonderful. what's really cool is once they've packed the brownbag it seems like they throw more fries into the bag just for fun. I dig that! So I ordered the Little burger with my toppings, and they were not stingy with the toppings which is great. The burger was cooked well and was just very succulent the whole way through. Came here for lunch today. This place is pretty busy and not the quickest, so be prepared to wait a while if there's a line up. Ordered the burger and cajun fries. Ugh. Just get the regular fries. The cajun fries are too much. So overwhelmingly chili-powdered up. The burger was reliably good. Great amount of toppings. This location does not skimp. The music was crazy loud and talking was hard to do because of it. The music was especially crazy loud in the washroom and I felt like my ear drums were in danger. Theeeee go to burger place in the Heartland/Britannia area. It's a great location, close to Highway 401, in the heart of Heartland Town Centre. If you're reeeally hungry and itchin' for a burger, Five Guys has you covered. Their regular sized burgers are pretty big so brace yourself for a food coma after you're done. The toppings are free, except cheese and bacon, and they give you a massive amount of fries. Even if you order the "little" fries, they always add an extra scoop or 2 in your bag. For a flat top burger joint, I'd say Five Guys is the second best burger in the GTA/Toronto. The down side to Five Guys, and this can pretty much go for any burger place, is the fries and drinks are separate. What ever happened to combos with drink/fries included? I guess it doesn't matter because with fries and a regular burger (without bacon and cheese) will cost you roughly around $12 and $14 with a drink. I'm a huge 5 guys fan and when it came to heartland I was stoked as I lived nearby. I always order the same; the bacon cheeseburger dressed all the way. It is 1100 calories of awesomeness. The best fast food burger you can get and I enjoy it more than a lot of the fancy dine in restaurants. I'm sure places like Holy Chuck and Burger Priest will serve better burgers, but for the price (under 11 dollars) this is so worth it for burger lovers. read more
