Fries

Hello fellow foodies I am back with another burger review this time from Five Guys . This was my first time eating at this burger company ,had heard some decent things about them so I decided to stop in for one of there burgers . I ordered the cheese burger double meat patties and small fries. My total was $15.00 after taxes with no drink so I would say for sure on the very pricey side for a burger and fries. Food / 4/5 ..My double cheeses burger was cooked fresh while I waited on the flat top , they ate not very large or thick burger paties but very flavorful you can tell they use a nice quality meat . Very fresh ingredients the lettuce and tomatoes ' the bread was also very soft a really nice burger bun . A great tasting burger however I am only giving it a 4/5 rating based on my expectations that for such a high price the burger would or should of been much better . The fries were amazing fresh cut home fries ,fried in peanut oil for that unique taste and very generous not only do they fill up the cup with fries but dump a bunch extra in bag as there known to do as you can see from my pics ..overall a nice burger but on the pricey side. Service 5/5 the service was friendly and for freshly cooked burgers in front of you it was really good and efficient.

This place seems like a big kitchen to me. I guess it's the plain white tiled walls and floor. It's clean an neat. What I love about this place is their complimentary peanuts. They were tasty and they also helped to kill the time before my burger was ready. Actually they were so tasty that it was hard to stop tho. I had the little burger with one patty. Guess they didn't sear the bun and it was kind of soggy....... the patty was kind of dry. Fries were pretty good. Staffs were very friendly. The guy shouted "goodbye" from the kitchen when we left : )

Great burgers. Good Fries. Snacks while you are waiting. I would not go if you have a peanut allergy.

Had a chance to try Munchers when in Brampton and it was pretty good. A nice place if you are…read morecraving Indian Fusion food in the form of burgers or roll type stuff and of course my favorite - poutine! I ended up order the muncher with fried chicken which was super yummy and came with a nice aioli sauce which was yummy. I also got the chicken tikka masala poutine which was really yummy and actually my favorite. Everything about this dish was on point except it was a bit soggy when I got the dish.

Hello foodies out there I been hearing all the hype on Instagram foodies posting pictures and…read morereviews on this place for a while now, so it was time I stopped in and seen what all the hype was about. Munchers is located just off McLaughlin Rd. in a small older plaza on Flowertown Avenue. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. The restaurant is small looks like takeout only at this point but clean with very clear menus on the wall. They serve what I would call a very much modernized fast food Indian-fusion cuisine. Its Indian food with an American fusion twist to it.  They have some unique burgers, cheese melt sandwiches, poutines and of course there rice bowls all made with an Indian flavor's and spices. I decided to try two of their bowls, the Tandoori chicken Rice Bowl and the Shrimp Rice Bowl, there chicken burgers look great also but that will be for next time if I am back. Food : for the Tandoori Bowl I would have to say it was a 4/5 as far as appearance and taste , but it was a relatively small portion size so they could have been a little more generous with filling the bowl with more rice. The chicken is Tandoori marinated chicken is cubed and grilled and then placed over their rice. With two sauces one is a tandoori sauce very flavorful and not spicy at all, the other is a white cream sauce or aioli of sort, possibly a yogurt sauce, they combine well and go perfect with the chicken and rice. The rice is also very good well-seasoned, you can really taste the cumin and the cinnamon, just very tasty rice. The rice and the tandoori sauce they put over the chicken are defiantly the stars in this dish. It also comes with pickled onions that are really tasty also, really enjoyed them wish there was more in the dish, you also get the choice of a very small amount of coleslaw or green salad with the dish. The coleslaw was a disaster just horrible not seasoning and no flavor just plain cut with nothing on it and almost seemed it was cooked not fresh not crunch it, it was soft and wilted like it had been boiled, horrible if you get this opt-out of the coleslaw option not good at all. The Shrimp Bowl 4/5 as well the shrimp was well cooked very well-seasoned very spicy with a tiny kick to it, again the same issue just a small portion if you're a big eater you're going to need two of these bowls they are stingy with their portion sizes at least with bowls, The rice again was amazing same as above, also came with that horrible coleslaw not recommended at all as a side option. Service 2/5 The food overall was great however their downfall is their service just horrible, first considering I was the only person there at about 2 pm after the lunch rush, it took them 34 minutes to prepare my food, with one other person walking in about 10 minutes after me. You place your order then they text you when the order is ready , after placing my order at the counter girl told me it would be 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I did not receive text so I walked in to check the status of my food and she told me it would be another 10 minutes in actuality ended up being another 14 minutes. Just pathetic service, I guess they don't have a clue what under promise over deliver means. The staff was not exactly friendly either, it's a shame great food horrible customer service, need major improvement, not sure I will be back having to wait well over 30 minutes for fast food takeout My recommendation is call-in your order and don't show up early if you want your food on time.

For us it worth the drive to Brampton to pickup some food. We were delivering a wide variety of foods for an important family event and our goal was to pick up 20 different items. We ended up picking close to 40'items. The onion pakoras (20/10, yes not a typo), masala Idli, thaali with tamarind rice or lemon rice (both 10/10 and a slight up charge), all the veg curries, medu vadas, spinach medu vadas, samosas, fritters, stuffed breads, and oh those desserts - some mango flavoured, coconut and more. And the best almost all of things that we bought happened to be Vegan! There was raita and some dahi wadas that had yogurt. And get these, we did not buy masala dosas, regular idlis, puttus, noodles and pasta (yes they had pasta, probably Tamil or Sri Lankan style) and so much more. Wonder how many times I will have to make a trip to try everything here.

Now issue is the dosa became soggy due to the steam. Longer it stayed wrapped more soggy it got. Would be ideal that they're wrapped just at collection and sambhar is given hot in container. That way can unwrap and eat straight away. Samosa and spring roll small baby sized. I will say though samosa filling was tasty as was the dosa filling. In fact the dosa was full! I rated at 3 originally but gave 4 given the amount of filling in the dosa - I look forward to restaurant opening so I can eat their dosa there and then. Will revisit!

The megabites breading was light (some might call it bland). I liked that it wasn't very greasy. The chicken tasted great with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. The fries and jalepeno bombers were good as well. My sis in law said the 4 piece was okay. Combos come with a biscuit. I love the glaze they put over the biscuit. It's ur average fried chicken place. A few months ago, I bought another Groupon for Church's Chicken. I realized that the deal was about to expire, so I decided to go use it three days before its expiration date. This Church's location is about twenty minutes away from my workplace backroading it. It's conveniently located on Hurontario Street, just north of highway 407. I had no problem finding it. I parked at around 3 pm on a Saturday and went in. My Groupon was for six chicken tenders, two sides, two drinks, and two biscuits. I was greeted by a competent, friendly woman. She went to get a pen to jot down my Groupon number. She then let me know that my original chicken tenders would take three minutes. Nice! I ordered two orders of coleslaw as my sides. While I was waiting, I witnessed a young man lose his mind when another staff member was making a sundae for this man's friend. The staff member put a honey-butter biscuit in the butterscotch sundae. Wow! I enjoyed seeing this guy lose his mind. I could relate. I was doing the same inside. Sure enough, I got my goodies and went to chow down. The chicken tenders are amazing! They are hands-down my favourite tenders that I have had this year. The breading was light and crispy. It was almost like tempura, but with more substance. The tenders were juicy and matched their name -- totally tender. You pay extra for dipping sauces. I didn't get any and glad that I took the gamble. They were that juicy and perfect. The honey-butter biscuits are incredible! You taste the sweetness of both the brushed honey and butter on top. The biscuits taste like biscuits that what you make from scratch. They aren't salty, which I like. Same goes with the coleslaw. It tastes homemade. It's not overly creamy. You don't get a ton of sugar. The slaw is fresh and crunchy. I love it all. I ate most of my meal there. I took my second drink and coleslaw home. I've been to two out of the three Church's Chicken in the GTA. This one is my favourite so far. It's a relaxed environment in a plaza with plenty of parking. I'll definitely come back and give the spicy chicken tenders a try. (295)

They have classic burgers and also really unique ones with crazy toppings, which makes it stand out from your typical burger places. The interior has a cool vibe, kind of industrial and rustic with a casual feel. It's not super fancy, but it's a nice sit-down spot to go with friends. It feels relaxed and a bit different from fast food burger joints. When I went, it had a chill energy, not too loud but still lively. I ended up getting one of their more loaded burgers, and it was really good. The patty itself was juicy and cooked well, and you can tell they use fresh, hand-pressed beef which makes a difference. The toppings were honestly the highlight, they really pack it which I like. The portions are also very big. Between the burger and the sides, it's a heavy meal, so i'd recommend this spot if you're really hungry. Their menu is also huge, which is nice, but it can be a bit overwhelming trying to choose because there's so many options. Service was good overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially if it's your first time and you don't know what to order. Food took a bit of time, but that's expected since everything is made fresh. Price-wise, it is on the higher side for burgers, but you are getting a big portion and a more "gourmet" style meal, so it kind of balances out. Overall, I'd say it's a solid spot if you're craving a really loaded burger and want something a bit different. Not necessarily the best burger I've ever had, but definitely worth trying at least once, especially for the variety and fun menu.
