This is a great burger joint. I wouldn't recommend making this a family night out, due to the prices being so high. It would be nice if their burgers came with fries, instead of purchasing them separately. A burger alone would run you about the same amount as a combo with a regular drink at another burger place. Consistent with all the other five guys I have been to. However, the location is difficult to get in and out of. They do have a parking lot, but it is small and tight. I luckily have a compact car, but an SUV parked next to be before I left and it was a tight wiggle getting into the car to leave. read more

Great chat on burger with fresh produce and tasty Cajun fries. The soda machine is incredible we enjoyed trying new concoctions such as cherry ginger ale and orange diet coke. The order process is loud and rushed but you can customize your burger any way you like. I asked for burger bowl which is no bun extra lettuce and easy to eat in a salad bowl. The peanuts are fun to munch on while you are waiting and the dining area is bright and clean. A great addition for Memphis and it's nice to see an east coast chain coming to TN. read more

The burgers are good. The fries aren't quite cooked right. Not crisp and not up to what I would expect after visiting other Five Guys locations. Also they had the music cranked up WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too loud and wouldn't turn it down even though we asked. read more

Bartlett location. Went twice. Service on a slow Sunday nite STILL took 30 minutes to get 2 hamburgers and fries-Ridiculous.. Was slightly faster on a crowded lunch day! My family is from out of state and found never have had the pleasure of eating at Five Guys before. My mother and I each enjoyed a single bacon cheeseburger each with our own choices of free vegetables and my son and niece shared a grilled cheese sandwich. We also ordered a regular size Cajun and Original Fries and they come in a cup but then to our surprise they cover your food I fries when they put your food in the bag! The Cajun fries were delicious as was the burger I ordered and it was made the way I ordered and the wait was not long! My family and I definitely enjoyed our lunch at Five Guys! read more

We went for lunch and ordered 2 small burgers, fries and drinks. Cost over $20 and we had to wait 25 minutes. Then we get our order and they didn't give us the fries. We asked for the fries and they give us a bag of fries of which most were about burnt. We couldn't even find the napkins in this place and then realized they were supposed to had put it in our bag. Glad I didn't take my son because they have peanuts everywhere and fry the fries in peanut oil. We weren't impressed at all and this location ruined it for us going to any other location. First off the store was clean, the staff was very nice and all smiling. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Was prepared in a timely manner. while waiting for the order I noticed all of the signage in the store more or less stating how great the product was and all the awards they had received. I also noticed there were only 3 different customers in there during the peak lunch period (which to me kind of negates all of the fancy awards signs). I received my order and appearance wise the burger looked tasty, but was average at best in flavor. The fries were bountiful in numbers but average in taste. (in all fairness the partial skin-on fry is not my fave to begin with). All in all I felt the $16 cost for a burger combo was a little steep for the average quality. read more

I really like the fact that 5 guys is steadily getting a lower rating. This place really was not that good and I want people who dont know about this place to know its not that great. Maybe yelp is the 1 place people can find this out. I am actually upset because when this place first hit the town everyone talked about this place and though its been a while since I ate here I still fell the need to write about this place. I really did get the vibe that the place was trying to be hip in some way wrapping tge burgers up like they did and putting them in a little brown bag. I know several places wrap their burgers up but when I got mine I just had the feeling like this was part of their "signature" they were trying to give to people. PLus the burger really was sloppy and not in a good way. And it had the smash effect you would get at a local fast food joint. Over priced to. I was not kidding when I said I would rather eat a McDonalds burger. At least the are somewhat put together. read more

I don't eat here often so I was excited to go. I am over it now! The hamburger has decreased in size and no taste at all. Both drink machines were out. One of the workers was on his cell phone with the gloves on, and I don't think he changed gloves afterwards. Why do food workers think the gloves are magical and they can do personal things with the gloves on and not wash their hands and put new gloves on. That's just nasty! read more

A+ I have gone to Five Guys at this location many times and most of those times the CheeseBurger and Fries were Great. On July 17, 2012 at 5:30pm I got my usual, burger and fries; this time my fries were Not Hot, like they were sitting for awhile. My burger was not as good as the many times before when I had gone there. I called my sister and wanted take her out to lunch, which she wanted to go Five Guys because she had not ever been to any Five Guys. So we went on July 19, 2012 and she loved her cheeseburger and I liked my cheeseburger as well. The Fries were half-cooked and were Not-Hot! I don't know what is going on with the Fry Person? The Fries are not that good when they are cold are half-cooked. I gave 4 Stars because of all of the earlier Good Eats, minus 1 Star because of the last two visits. Taste the Fries before you go out the door to see if they are HOT! If not tell the manager. read more
