Great burger, extremely clean, but $13.50 for burgers, drink, and fries.

Very expensive and the burgers are just ok. Fries are pretty greasy. Place is always empty and they only get customer coming through once because of the high price. $43 for three hamburgers one large fry and drinks. read more

We've eaten here a bunch of times. I always order the hot dogs which I think are better than the burgers. Maybe I am getting old and tired of hamburgers. I did eat a burger here once, but I didn't like it. It seemed sloppy and not tasty. I think a burger should be clean and unfettered with a lot of slop sauce. And I think you can put too many ingredients on a burger to where it is uneatable. Five Guys has a reputation for being an outstanding burger. I definitely would not put it in that category. The burgers are expensive and don't deliver enough bang for the buck. The hotdogs however are great. I do think they should offer sauerkraut and chili as an option to put on the hotdog. They also have a grilled cheese sandwich which is good, especially when you put tomato on it. The atmosphere is welcoming although the restaurant is kept too cold. The staff is friendly. read more

I like the burgers at this joint and have been going there since it opened.I was very disappointed by the manager of this location because after by in almost $100 Togo order burgers, my daughter wanted some peanuts to go on Valentine's Day and the manager was not nice enough to allow the peanuts to go. Small burger was enough, but if you are really hunger, go for it. Even the small fries were to much for a single person. I love hamburgers and I rate this "a must try". Also I found roasted peanuts as I checked out. I am going back. read more

Tried it several times and I always walk away thinking it was OK, but Id rather had a whatabuger any day. Burgers are small and very messy as they over pack the small buns with too much stuff to fit into it. Diffenrence between small and large burger is only an extra meat patty. Prices are a bit expensive for what you get. Fries are the best thing since they give you more than plenty and are seasoned just right, but once again a bit pricey. Not a real big fan. read more

The 5 Stars represent "Woohoo! As Good as it gets!" for FAST FOOD. The best burger of my life was in Santa Cruz, CA at Rosie McCann's. Ate this years ago in St Louis and loved it! I tried West coast's In & Out Burger and that was one of the crappiest burgers ever, just like Whataburger!! I cannot stand either establishment. As always, the produce was fresh, my burger was fresh, my bacon had a crisp to it, my fries were piping hot with a slight crisp to them & my green tea was tasty. Most people do not know how to truly leave a review, especially people from the RGV, not to mention they think Whataburger is the best. lol Want a good burger come here and if you do not like it go back to Whataburger. Bathroom was clean, service was helpful and attentive & overall a pleasant fast food experience. I wouldn't put it past an idiot from the RGV to knock this restaurant for the peanut shells on the floor. read more

Tried Five Guys in Austin a few years ago so when I heard about this one I said geez I should have really become a franchisee, looks like I got beat to it. The place seems smaller than the location in ATX but the formula is dead on - free peanuts, great service, awesome food and man let me tell ya that the burgers, dogs and sandwiches all kick butt. It's a great place to dine in or carry out but seriously sometimes it's a bit much with the number of ppl in line and eating because you can't really eat with much comfort especially ppl weaving through the small aisles between the tables. That's why I rated it a 4 but I will say that Five Guys is here to stay and Whataburger, Watch Out! There's a new kid in town and it wants your share of the pie. :D read more

Well for starters, I like the complimentary peanuts as you wait for your food. I am from Chicago and I had been craving a D-LICIOUS burger. My son told me that 5 guys had excellent burgers. So, in we go, staff was helpful, did not like the music that they were playing, but wasn't there for the music. The cheeseburger with jalapeños was "out of control".!!!!perfection. I enjoyed it and it definitely earned a spot on my list. Hope this helps. 5 guys gets 5 of 5 stars. read more
