I don't visit this Five Guys often, mainly because of their high prices, but when I have the staff have always been friendly and attentive, the restaurant itself is well kept, and the food excellent. I mainly order online and pickup, but when I'm with someone we'll eat in, it could be incredibly busy or absolutely dead, there's no telling. The location is convenient, within walking distance, but the parking is horrible, as many businesses are in such a small area. read more

I stopped here around 2:00 p.m. on a Friday, and despite being located right off I-95, the restaurant was completely empty. Not one other customer. In hindsight, that should have been our warning to turn around and leave. My buddy and I ordered two double hamburgers with no cheese, one regular order of fries to share, and water served in tiny cups. The total came to nearly $33. No cheese. No soft drinks. Just two burgers, one fry, and water. For that price, I expected fresh, hot food. Instead, the burger patties were dry, bland, and completely lacking the fresh, juicy flavor Five Guys is supposed to be known for. Every patty looked exactly the same, and they tasted more like ordinary frozen patties than freshly prepared hamburger. The fries were even worse--greasy, limp, and barely lukewarm. Had the burgers been fresh and juicy and the fries hot, crisp, and properly salted, I probably would not be writing this review. But paying almost $33 for tasteless burgers and cold, greasy fries felt like a complete waste of money. I remember eating at the old Arlington Five Guys location years ago, when it was a small carryout and the food was genuinely outstanding. That place had flavor, quality, and character. This experience was the complete opposite. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend this location. Save your money and eat somewhere that serves hot, fresh food. I will not be returning. read more

It's gotten quite expensive. Do you still get lots of fries? Yes you do. Yet a cheeseburger, fries, and soda for around $20 is ridiculous. Inflation is real, but my guess is franchise fees are expensive. You will get a good burger, that is for sure. Yet a cost analysis leads me to some disappointment. This is an extremely clean restaurant. They've come a ways since their original location, for the idea of space and comfort. The employees are friendly and efficient. Due to their prices, I cannot give higher than three stars. Let's be frank, as any of us can use a grill for less. One smart idea for them would, to be using high quality buns. It's okay but again, the cost factor is very real. read more

My husband and I were really hungry and stopped in to get a hamburger and hotdogs. They ended up costing 20.00! For a hamburger and hotdogs. Anyway, my husband just wanted a single patty hamburger with ketchup and mustard. Instead he ended up with a double patty hamburger with bacon and ketchup and mustard. The order taker said that is how the hamburgers come. Really? Didn't want all that nonsense and what the hell .... they are lucky it wasn't me that ordered that because I would have refused it. Also, the shelled peanuts will burn your mouth because of all of the spicy crap they season them with. I like to taste my food not have my taste buds burned off! What ever happened to the concept of "listening" to what the customet wants?? Won't go back here. read more

Recently I came here for an excellent burger (no cheese - I only do hot sauce or relish), fries and peanuts. This location is beyond clean and the staff fast and pleasant. Give that it is also a great location on a long road - I'm happy that it is open long hours. The food is impeccable, hot and made right before your eyes on a supremely hot sizzling grill. Atmosphere is bright, clean and close to a diner. As of April 1, they have tables with chairs, both inside and out. Great burger joint. Somehow wish they had some herbs, kraut, pepper etc on the tables. Rebel review: 5 read more

We haven't been to this Five Guys in a while because of our previous unpleasant experience. However today they could not have been better. Both of our burgers were flavorful and very hot. The fries were wonderful and the service was good. We discovered that one of the drink machines dispensed only carbonated water but the other one was working great so we used it. All in all, it was a great meal like we used to experience at Five Guys. We will definitely be back. read more

$30 for two small cheese burgers, 1 small frie, and two small drinks?!!! Are you kidding me?! In my past visits there were always 10 or so seated customers. I went in this time and nobody was there. The price of this establishment has gotten to the absolute ludicrous level! Never again! read more

Food is usually 5 Guys standard delicious. Usually. This particular location's set of guys don't work very well together. Result ... total disrespect for a customer's time. Put in a mobile order for a bacon cheeseburger ... app said they'd be on it ASAP (low workload). Ha! The three guys were barely breaking a sweat. As a result my one burger didn't get called out until 23 minutes after ordering ... 5 minutes after my app said the order was complete???? Don't know how they mark a ticket complete so let's just say if the employees close the ticket, management/corporate aren't getting good metrics. Maybe corporate could have a scanner at the awaiting pickup warmer spot and one on the pickup counter so the ticket isn't closed until the customer scans it out. read more

Ordered food from here on the way back home with just enough time to eat and go to my shift work. Email confirmation received for my order but when I got there food was not ready and not "received". Showed them my email nope no food. Not recommend this place! read more

Had my usual grilled cheese with all the fixings here. It was a good sandwich and definitely filling with the mountain of fries they serve. Every location has obnoxious signs all over the dining room proclaiming their greatness, and one of these signs clearly states no canned products are used, but I'll be a monkeys' uncle if those weren't canned mushrooms on my grilled cheese. But I'm gonna let it slide because of their fly ass soda machines! All digital, there are 22 soda options to start, and when you select one (Coke for example) you get a sub menu with 4 or five additional options for your coke (cherry, vanilla, orange, caffeine free, cherry vanilla coke). Only one word can describe it: AMAZEBALLS! I can't wait until these are every where! read more

Five Guys - My son always enjoy their milkshakes - Burgers Near Me - Lorton, Virginia

I came in here today for an awesome lunch, and that is what I got! It had been a little while since I had come to this restaurant but for reasons obvious. It's not the most healthiest food on the planet. But man is it delicious. I ordered the hamburger combo meal, and it was a lot if food. At almost $14 I would sure hope so! The restaurant was clean, and the emploees who helped us were nice and cordial! Kool place!m I especially enjoyed the fries, and there were plenty!perhaps next time I will go for something different. read more

definitely the best burger ive ever had and not exaggerating. been eating five guys burgers my whole life and i have always compared burgers to the level five guys. never disappointed when i eat here. i especially love their cajun fries and how there are peanuts everywhere! simply delicious and great to munch on while waiting for my order. the lorton location also has milkshakes and they're simply everything you'd want in a milkshake. although they don't serve the healthiest food the quality is there. five guys has been around for a while and i can honestly say that they have never sacrificed quality as a long time customer. only complaint here is that i got too many fries, which was an issue i could easily resolve! read more

Ordered food for delivery during COViD 19 pandemic. Driver arrived wearing no mask or gloves, and gave me the wrong food. Lodged a complaint with Five Guys and the rep I talked to said they probably won't even give me a refund! read more

There are many locations for Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries, so I've listed their corporate address. If you want to find one near you, use http://www.fiveguys.com/store_locator.aspx Until last month, I had never heard of Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries. I was actually on a road trip to/from Virginia & our driver suggested it for dinner. We got lost trying to find it, but the detour was well worth it! I am admittedly one of those people who is always skeptical that I can find anything better than what Manhattan has to offer. That said, I had some of the best fries from Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries. So good, in fact, I don't think I can give the cheeseburger I also ordered a fair review. The reasons I am only giving Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries three stars instead of five: 1) The wait for our food seemed disproportionately long because there weren't many other customers in queue 2) The condiments area wasn't tidy & the ketchup had run out -- However, the fries are good enough on their own, without any additions 3) The space needed better ventilation -- Greasy smoke permeated the store 4) Poor lighting gave a depressing feel read more

Maybe it's just me, but I got food poisoning from this place. I ate there one time in particular and had the worst bout of vomiting I've had in quite some time. It's weird because I was eating there before with no issues for about a year. Not sure what changed to make that happen, but I've been scared to go back ever since. That being said, it is quite tasty, though not the best burger ever. A tad greazy, and the fries could have more flavor. But great fast food. The epitome of the Grand Fat American standard. read more

This would normally be an average restaurant if it had regular walls. The walls are exceptional. Aesthetic 10/10 Taste 10/10 Smoothness 10/10 Architectural beauty 10/10 Color 10/10 Design 10/10 They gave me too many fries, however I will forgive this because of the 10/10 walls. read more

I've had everything on their menu. I love their hot dogs and obviously burgers. Tired of their burger? We'll switch it up and try the BLT or cheese sandwich (which you can get anything added to it). Can't go wrong with either. Yummie! read more

Rude manager and horrible customer service. Challenged me when I asked for a well done burger and it was red inside.... then the manager was like where is it red? I was like step outside you can see it's red. Horrible and need customer service training! read more

So I walk in, on a Monday night and the place is empty. One of the cooks walks in the front door behind me dragging a cloud of pot smoke with him. He walks around the counter and proceeds to make my order on the grill without washing his hands. As much as I detest the smell of pot, I don't judge people who smoke it. However, what about a basic expectation that I shouldn't have to be forced into smelling it and having those nasty hands that handled the joint, prepare my food. Spending $10+ for a bacon cheeseburger is bad enough, but having it prepared in an unsanitary manor makes it worse. So from now on, toke up all you want...I won't be back to this location. read more

As long as they get your order right, then you can enjoy paying a lot of money for a fast food hamburger... if they get it right.

Five guys, The food I had was good. I ordered a little cheese burger and Cajun small fries and was skeptical by the price. It was all worth it, the burger was cooked to perfection and was juicy, the fries were fried to perfection and the variety of sodas in the soda machine were cool. I enjoyed peanuts even asking if I could get a bag to take some home and the black shirt person kindly handed me a bag. Would recommend 100% the place is also super clean. read more

This location taught me to ALWAYS check my burger before leaving the store. They constantly screw up toppings. Today I've had it when they didn't put pickles or bbq sauce on my burger and instead put tomato... I never selected tomato'... when they're busy they're even worse with correct toppings. Other times they forget to put extra cheese and onions. Kinda embarrassing for a location within 3 miles of their national HQ. They need to SLOW DOWN and read the ticket slowly and not rush all the damn burgers out the door which is why they make so many mistakes... Tonight I counted 8 employees working, atleast one of them couldn't have been QC before wrapping the burger? When I asked about the pickles and bbq sauce the girl said "can I give you pickles to you on the side?" She pretended not to hear me say bbq sounds bc she damn well knew that would require a remake. I said sure bc I saw they were slammed busy but in the past they remake the burger. Tonight I didn't want a remake bc...as you have seen in other reviews... they are slow as hell. Not trying to wait around. Get it right the first time already. Also the burgers look gross when you open the bag like all smushed and took a 10 foot drop into the bag. Place my burger gently in the bag... damn. I've been coming to this location since they opened years ago and have held my tounge on writing an honest review. Let's get it together people.... your HQ is 5 minutes away? Act like it. read more

Don't bother calling ahead for a pick up order! I've done this twice in the last few months and each time I end up waiting at the restaurant for over 15 minutes I've done this on both a busy night and a slow night and each time it's the same inefficient process. Even when dining in it still takes a long time to get your food in comparison to other locations it doesn't help that every time I've gone to pick up or dining there's a whole new set of staff. I'm not not sure if that's an issue with management or perhaps it's just the industry but it seems like they don't really have an a good grasp on how to serve customers. read more

I love Five Guys, this location just isn't my favorite one. They messed up my order the first couple of times I went, another time they failed at Cajuning up my cajun fries. I also don't understand why they need over 10 people working back there when it's not even busy. Anyways, they're doing a little better now, so I suppose 2.5 stars is what they can have. I'd still rather go somewhere else where I know they will do it right the first time. read more

This particular Five Guys is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Just off Ox Road, it's one of the few things to eat in this shopping court. That aside, it's my grandfather's favorite hamburger joint. He likes the cheeseburgers with grilled onions, and large fries and a coke. They offer malt and occasionally he sprinkles some on. I think it's more of an experience for him... maybe he likes the general atmosphere of being surrounded by... potato boxes and peanuts, but I'm happy to see him happy. read more

It's Five Guys, so burgers are great. This place is fast and the folks are friendly!

Extra clean bathrooms, kind staff, and fast service. Like all Five Guys should be.

My first introduction to Five Guys was here in VA a year ago and of course I am revisiting while on vacation. The burgers here are pretty good as far as burgers go. They now have Five Guys in AZ and we hit them up on occasion. If you're in the area, stop in for a burger and cajun fries. read more
