Recently I came here for an excellent burger (no cheese - I only do hot sauce or relish), fries and peanuts. This location is beyond clean and the staff fast and pleasant. Give that it is also a great location on a long road - I'm happy that it is open long hours. The food is impeccable, hot and made right before your eyes on a supremely hot sizzling grill. It's gotten quite expensive. Do you still get lots of fries? Yes you do. Yet a cheeseburger, fries, and soda for around $20 is ridiculous. Inflation is real, but my guess is franchise fees are expensive. You will get a good burger, that is for sure. Yet a cost analysis leads me to some disappointment. This is an extremely clean restaurant. They've come a ways since their original location, for the idea of space and comfort. The employees are friendly and efficient. Due to their prices, I cannot give higher than three stars. Let's be frank, as any of us can use a grill for less. One smart idea for them would, to be using high quality buns. My husband and I were really hungry and stopped in to get a hamburger and hotdogs. They ended up costing 20.00! For a hamburger and hotdogs. Anyway, my husband just wanted a single patty hamburger with ketchup and mustard. Instead he ended up with a double patty hamburger with bacon and ketchup and mustard. The order taker said that is how the hamburgers come. Really? Didn't want all that nonsense and what the hell .... they are lucky it wasn't me that ordered that because I would have refused it. We haven't been to this Five Guys in a while because of our previous unpleasant experience. However today they could not have been better. Both of our burgers were flavorful and very hot. The fries were wonderful and the service was good. We discovered that one of the drink machines dispensed only carbonated water but the other one was working great so we used it. All in all, it was a great meal like we used to experience at Five Guys. We will definitely be back. read more

Food is usually 5 Guys standard delicious. Usually. This particular location's set of guys don't work very well together. Result ... total disrespect for a customer's time. Put in a mobile order for a bacon cheeseburger ... app said they'd be on it ASAP (low workload). Ha! The three guys were barely breaking a sweat. As a result my one burger didn't get called out until 23 minutes after ordering ... 5 minutes after my app said the order was complete???? Don't know how they mark a ticket complete so let's just say if the employees close the ticket, management/corporate aren't getting good metrics. Maybe corporate could have a scanner at the awaiting pickup warmer spot and one on the pickup counter so the ticket isn't closed until the customer scans it out. read more

Had my usual grilled cheese with all the fixings here. It was a good sandwich and definitely filling with the mountain of fries they serve. Every location has obnoxious signs all over the dining room proclaiming their greatness, and one of these signs clearly states no canned products are used, but I'll be a monkeys' uncle if those weren't canned mushrooms on my grilled cheese. But I'm gonna let it slide because of their fly ass soda machines! All digital, there are 22 soda options to start, and when you select one (Coke for example) you get a sub menu with 4 or five additional options for your coke (cherry, vanilla, orange, caffeine free, cherry vanilla coke). definitely the best burger ive ever had and not exaggerating. been eating five guys burgers my whole life and i have always compared burgers to the level five guys. never disappointed when i eat here. i especially love their cajun fries and how there are peanuts everywhere! simply delicious and great to munch on while waiting for my order. the lorton location also has milkshakes and they're simply everything you'd want in a milkshake. although they don't serve the healthiest food the quality is there. five guys has been around for a while and i can honestly say that they have never sacrificed quality as a long time customer. only complaint here is that i got too many fries, which was an issue i could easily resolve! read more

I came in here today for an awesome lunch, and that is what I got! It had been a little while since I had come to this restaurant but for reasons obvious. It's not the most healthiest food on the planet. But man is it delicious. I ordered the hamburger combo meal, and it was a lot if food. At almost $14 I would sure hope so! So I walk in, on a Monday night and the place is empty. One of the cooks walks in the front door behind me dragging a cloud of pot smoke with him. He walks around the counter and proceeds to make my order on the grill without washing his hands. As much as I detest the smell of pot, I don't judge people who smoke it. However, what about a basic expectation that I shouldn't have to be forced into smelling it and having those nasty hands that handled the joint, prepare my food. Five guys, The food I had was good. I ordered a little cheese burger and Cajun small fries and was skeptical by the price. It was all worth it, the burger was cooked to perfection and was juicy, the fries were fried to perfection and the variety of sodas in the soda machine were cool. This location taught me to ALWAYS check my burger before leaving the store. They constantly screw up toppings. Today I've had it when they didn't put pickles or bbq sauce on my burger and instead put tomato... I never selected tomato'... when they're busy they're even worse with correct toppings. Other times they forget to put extra cheese and onions. Kinda embarrassing for a location within 3 miles of their national HQ. They need to SLOW DOWN and read the ticket slowly and not rush all the damn burgers out the door which is why they make so many mistakes... Tonight I counted 8 employees working, atleast one of them couldn't have been QC before wrapping the burger? When I asked about the pickles and bbq sauce the girl said "can I give you pickles to you on the side?" She pretended not to hear me say bbq sounds bc she damn well knew that would require a remake. Don't bother calling ahead for a pick up order! I've done this twice in the last few months and each time I end up waiting at the restaurant for over 15 minutes I've done this on both a busy night and a slow night and each time it's the same inefficient process. Even when dining in it still takes a long time to get your food in comparison to other locations it doesn't help that every time I've gone to pick up or dining there's a whole new set of staff. I'm not not sure if that's an issue with management or perhaps it's just the industry but it seems like they don't really have an a good grasp on how to serve customers. read more

This particular Five Guys is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Just off Ox Road, it's one of the few things to eat in this shopping court. That aside, it's my grandfather's favorite hamburger joint. He likes the cheeseburgers with grilled onions, and large fries and a coke. They offer malt and occasionally he sprinkles some on. I think it's more of an experience for him... maybe he likes the general atmosphere of being surrounded by... potato boxes and peanuts, but I'm happy to see him happy. read more

Five guys burgers are great, this one is no different. The workers are also cordial and friendly with quite the speedy service.

They messed up my order, and put cheese on the wrong burger. I asked them to fix it, and the response was, "well, they already wrapped them." I then watched them wrap the burgers after being told that they were already wrapped. It's one thing to mess up an order, it's another thing to lie about it. At least make an attempt at customer service. I work in management, and if this were my store, would fire all the lazy and useless people that work at this location. read more
