Small burger double bacon burger lol

THE WORKERS JUST STARE! SUPER SLOW, AWKWARD, BUT NEPHEW LIKES THE FOOD. Am I the only one who feels this place is 100% too expensive for no reason? I hate to be that person, because I will spend however much on GOOD food. . But this place is not it. FOOD: 2/5 My nephews burger was mediocre! I bought him a double bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. His burner was small, fries, fries were tiny, and all around just blah. If I had to pick one good thing, id say the fries are better than In-N-Out but still not worth 7.00 for a regular. SERVICE: 0/5 As soon as we got there, the 4 men just stared at us. I'm talking like the most awkward stare down in the world. I asked my sister if something was wrong (she lives here in TEXAS) and she said "IDK, why're they looking at us like that?) LOL. I can't explain how uncomfortable we were. Tht alone makes me never want to come back. We didn't get a "Hello, how are you?" Just a weird look from the moment we got in, to the moment we waited, until we got out. Price: 1/5 It was $26.00 for one meal. In-N-Out? $10/11. Any restaurant? Under 20! lol. All around: I enjoyed the concept. It was very clean. You get free peanuts, my nephew loves the food, and if he's happy I'm happy.

High five for Five Guys! The burgers are cooked to order, the veg is crisp, the sesame seed buns fresh, and the restaurant is immaculate. I can only imagine how much time the staff spends cleaning all that stainless steel. Perfect! Then there's the shakes. As a Texan this may be sacrilege to say, but Five Guys Oreo shake rivals Dairy Queen's Oreo Blizzard. There... I said it. Cheers!

In the top 3 of lousy service. Five Guys will take your money, sub-out the delivery to one of multiple delivery options (Uber, Door Dash, etc), and then allow the driver to cancel the order -- 45 minutes into the 60 minutes Five Guys states you will have to wait -- you receive a text message with NO explanation. Bottom line? If you find yourself permanently disabled, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY from Five Guys. Yes, we will NOT order from this restaurant again. They are incapable of basic business concepts and readily accepts a driver cancelling the order with NO explanation. Service Rating: 0-1

Cristina G is so sweet. She very friendly and patient. The burgers was made just right. Hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered a strawberry milk shake, Cajun fries and two bacon cheese burgers. The Cajun fries was a bit overpowering, so next time I'll stick to the basics. I got the small which is enough for two people or more. The strawberry shake was great. Yes it's extremely expensive for a burger joint but I don't mind. It's amazingly good. The service is fast and friendly. I love the location in the forum.

There's a small play area just off the outside deck, and several kids were down there playing, which was nice to see. The highchairs can be a little hard to spot, but they do have them inside near the restrooms. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be coming back!

We had planned to have a few drinks before grabbing dinner but we didn't plan the timing correctly. No biggie...regardless, the food was pretty solid! The fries were great and the dumplings complimented the drinks! My partner had a Moscato and I chose a beer flight. Overall the vibe was good. She knew portion sizes, flavor profiles, and made sure we were happy with food selections. Ambiance: place is trendy. Decor was really nice and the place felt welcoming. My spouse and I could converse in a regular level and never felt as if we needed to shout to be heard. Food: Delicious! We opted for the 7 course prefix meal and it didn't disappoint. We added the shrimp and Brussels sprouts appetizer (which we took home). As this was our first time, we don't realize they had different menus. Everything we had was phenomenal. We will be back. But once we sat down, it made sense. Everything is made to order, and you can taste the difference. There was only one server handling the entire floor, and when a rush hit all at once, it definitely got busy fast. But here's the thing... she handled it with grace. Even when you could tell she was juggling a lot, she stayed attentive, kind, and kept checking in on us. That kind of effort deserves recognition. Now let's talk about the real star of the show... The Texas French Toast. Oh. My. Goodness. Thick, golden, perfectly cooked slices topped with homemade whipped cream and fresh berries that tasted like they were picked that morning. It wasn't just good, it was indulgent in the best way. Sweet without being overwhelming. Rich but balanced. I couldn't even finish it (which says a lot), and happily boxed the rest up. The only regret? I ate all the berries first. Rookie mistake. My husband ordered one of the hash plates and said it was solid comfort food... hearty, flavorful, and filling. He couldn't finish his either, so I'm definitely sneaking a few bites later. Overall, we left impressed. The food feels intentional. The flavors feel thoughtful. It's the kind of local spot you want to root for. And the fact that they serve pork lumpia for lunch? Say less. We'll be back for that. If you're looking for a cozy, made-from-scratch brunch spot in Universal City, this one is worth the wait. Good food takes time, and this place proves it. ***This review is based on my taste buds.
