Love these burgers! The meat is fresh and cooked to order on a grill right behind the counter. The variety of toppings is awesome: fresh jalapenos, caramelized onions, green peppers, steak sauce, BBQ sauce and the rest of the typical toppings. The grilled beef hot dogs are also a treat. The fries are freshly cut and fried to order. There is a sign displayed that will tell you where the potatoes are from that are served that day. Cool. They only do burgers, dogs and fries. Period. Everything is served quickly and cooked to order. No frills, no bells, no whistles. Just GOOD BURGERS! read more

This location is very clean and you can definitely tell that follow company policy. Their burgers are great and their French fries are pretty good besides the fact that they cook them twice. They are a tad high in my opinion. If you are looking for a good homemade burger I recommend giving them a try. read more

I really enjoyed the fast food restaurant Five Guys on a Thursday evening. There are many different types of hamburgers and cheeseburgers you can order from the menu along with different types of french fries such as cajun seasoned fries or extra well done. Five Guy's customer service was really convenient for me, they had my food cooked and ready to go with a friendly attitude in a timely manner. It took approximately fourteen minutes to get everything cooked and served to me. The greasy delicious burgers are made on a squishy bun with melted cheese down the sides that make your appetite go crazy. Their prices are a little higher up meaning a burger is around six dollars, but compared to other fast food burger places in my opinion you get your money's worth of food and deliciousness. There wasn't a lot of promotions or deals except their everyday deals like their burger and fries combo. Overall this place is my go-to if I need a quick, appetizing meal that I won't regret. read more

Fresh burgers and a heart attack inducing amount of fries are why I love Five Guys. They serve the best burger in Liberty. The restaurant is always clean and the service is always quick and friendly. For those that have never been, a small fry is bigger than any large fry at ANY other burger joint in town. First off, I usually LOVE 5 Guys Burgers & Fries. But I will not be back to this location again (Conister Lane in Liberty, MO). Situational background, we were returning from a stressful one week session out of town helping elderly parents close up their home to move out of state, and thought we'd grab some burgers on the way home. When we broke out the food, EVERY burger ordered was wrong in some way. Mine was supposed to be a double bacon cheeseburger, but it turned out to be just a ...bacon. NO burger patty at all, no cheese, just the condiments and the bacon. In general, 5 Guys locations all seem to have really bad acoustics--they are VERY noisy and chaotic if there are more than a few people being served. read more

Today I was craving a big greasy cheeseburger, and I didnt feel like cooking, so i stopped here. This place is great. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (which happens to be a double, even though it doesnt say that on the menu) Cajun fries and a drink. This was a few hours ago and i am still stuffed. When you place your order, you get to choose what you want on it out of about 20 toppings, truly made your way. Burger King can suck it. Best place for an All American hamburger and fries....crack fries that is! I usually eat the whole bag ;) I like to put malt vinegar on my fries, so good! A small order of fries will easily serve 2-3 people! Juicy all meat burger w/ all the toppings you can handle is about as good as it gets! read more

My second visit to Five Guys proved that my first visit was no fluke. This place is consistently good. The serving sizes are very good. I shared a SMALL order of fries with my friend, and we EACH tried a Kosher hot dog. They split and fry them and have a large selection of toppings to choose from. The hot dogs with mustard, sautéed mushrooms & sautéed onions, along with the fries was enough to satisfy both of us. read more

Love this place. This my favorite place for burgers. They have tons of toppings to choose from at no extra cost. My usual is grilled mushrooms, grilled onions,lettuce,tomato, mustard, ketchup and mayo. Burgers are meant to be greasy and these do not disappoint. Yum! This burger was amazing!!! Spot on!! The fries are really good. We ordered a small fry for the 2 of us and didn't finish them. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because its a little pricey. We had 2 regular burgers, a small fry, and a large drink, our bill was $21.00. I don't get it, I just flat out do not get why everyone thinks this place is a great burger or great place. I have been to about 10 different Five Guys burger joints and everyone one of them is the same. Average burgers with soggy fries... What is so tremendous about frying up a burger on a flattop, sticking it on a standard rate bun and throwing on some average condiments and charging people a premium for it? Maybe my standards are a bit higher for burgers now. I just won't settle for average burgers anymore, been there, done that (In-N-Out, SO BORING). This chain burger joint teeters just above them. With SO many other burger joints about everywhere your choices are limitless for a great burger, not just an average one. read more

OMG! (oh my gosh)! I go here a couple times a month. You really get what you pay for. If you go there and eat by yourself when you order your fries I would suggest getting a regular size that would equal about a large and a medium fry from McDonald's. Their fry orders are huge and very hot. Their burgers rock also. They make them to your order you choose what you want on them. The staff is pretty friendly and is pretty clean. I have eaten here once and the reason? Not only the calories but I consider it a far away treat one of those every once in a while things. It's extremely expensive I picked up 3 double cheeseburgers and fries only, no drinks and it was over $30.00 that really is expensive. My son was doing his eagle project so he and the 2 guys helping deserved it. I picked up a 2 liter Dr, Pepper and they were happy and I think the cookies from Price Chopper helped as well. The lot was packed and it just goes to show people are still willing to spend for quality. All of these failing food businesses take note. I remember the hamburger I had was very good an so were the fries I will have to treat myself again a year is a long time. read more

i read all these negative reviews and they are about hamburgers. folks this is a bbq house and a dam good one. i have ate at many bbq joints and wabash holds it's own.if you want a burger go to a burger joint.have never had a bad exiperence and they are much cheaper than the bbq house's in kc. get a grip go elsewhere if you want a burger. read more

This place was on my list of "burger' places to try in KC. My husband and I ate at the one in the Legend's Shopping Ctr. I was not disappointed. The burgers were made with fresh meat and cooked perfectly. I didn't think I was ordering double burgers, but that's what we got. The fries were also fresh cut and delicious. I opted not to get the cajun seasoning on them, Small size was enough for at least 3 people. Kind of pricey, but I would go back again. read more

My husband and I stopped by on our way out of town. It was our first experience of eating at a 5 guys. Needless to say we will return. The hamburgers we ordered were cooked to perfection, not over cooked and dry like other fast food restaurants. Simply the best burgers around - no frills, no fluff, no kidding! They don't serve the same flattened hockey pucks most fast food joints use. Instead, you get a real patty cooked fresh to order. It's messy and juicy, and there are lots of toppings to choose from to get the best "customized" burger possible. You can nibble on fresh peanuts while you wait, which is a novel and unique offering from a burger place. The 50's styling is a fun departure from the norm, too. The people are friendly and the food is fast. Just between you and me, they always dump extra fries into the bag...our whole family gets enough with just a single small order of fries! Best chain burger and fries you can get. Their main competition ( Red Robin and Fuddrucker's ) have freshly made burgers but use frozen potatoes for their french fries. Fresh-cut fries are the only way to go.........it's too bad there are people who actually like frozen fries ! read more
