The place is small with a couple tables and a ATM with the ghetto rob proof rotation food delivery window. I don't understand why people try to copy the Chicago food and get it wrong, just go to a real Chicago restaurant first and do your homework. At first glance the frys looked good and they were because they were cooked to order hot with a thin crispy outside and a soft center, perfect for my likes. The Chicago dog was close but you could see that it was not complete because the bun was not a poppy seed and you could see no celery salt was on it which is the signature taste of a Chicago hot dog. One of the biggest fails was the iconic green relish which was lightly on the bottom . The hot dog it self was not boiled but grilled/fried and tasted like an all beef dog and not a Vienna kind. The toppings were fresh and the bun was soft but it tasted like something anyone could make at home. The bottom line is that this is not a true Chicago style hot dog and if that's what you than there is better places around town like that P place. How you fail at a copy dog when you can actually get a real one in town to see, touch and taste is beyond me when your restaurant has Chicago right in the name.

Therefore I can't speak to service or ambiance. I can say that we ordered four different iterations of their Chicago dog and we all enjoyed it. BF had the traditional jumbo dog with everything and liked it. My cousin had her jumbo without relish or onions and was happy as a clam. Mom enjoyed her jumbo dog without the relish and also was pleased. I had the veggie version with no green yuck relish and fried onions and it was really good. Who knew I liked that flavor combo? Also, kudos for offering a veggie dog option. That's a smart business choice. I also had onion rings and while I usually prefer battered rings, the crunchiness of these was undeniably excellent, even delivered, even from a location not super near to me. Nice! My mom and cousin enjoyed their chocolate malt, and I applaud that they offer malts and not just shakes, but we only got one of the two we ordered. That was a shame. Still, I'm pleasantly surprised by my foray into carnivore territory.

Two, it is not like any typical fast food restaurant. I put this place in the category of family oriented establishment. After an event, we have gone to this location, ordered, sat down, talked, and enjoyed our meal without any problems. Also, it's clean, the workers do not have an attitude, and if there is a problem they are more than happy to fix it. Three, the food! I like to order the Chicago dog (as is). No ketchup! On the day I came in, the friendly (I assume ) owner told me about a special - I scored a Polish *and* and Italian Beef for some ridiculously low price (under $15 IIRC). The house-made giardiniera is great. P.S. I am going to make an exception to my policy and comment on another review (two stars): "Beef is weak barely put any beef on it compared to others. And the miced giardenera not a fan of. Do better Martinos." I guess my first thought was, "What is this correlation between poor grammar and ridiculous reviews?" It's definitely a thing.

It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Both were fantastic! There was street parking available, and while we arrived at a peak time, we were able to find a table after a brief wait once we ordered. There was a covered patio seating area that was also being utilized. After lunch, we browsed the connected store, with a nice selection of cheese and sausage, of course, and lots of great local products. Friendly service, generous portions, and delicious food - we'll be back!

They're always so nice about remaking it but it's just annoying to always have to go back up. The food itself is always solid - their chopped salad is delicious and large. Anyway, the hot dog was ok, but the meat itself was kind of soft and spongy, not to my liking. The onion rings, described to me by the order taker as fantastic, were, in reality, disgusting. They tasted like old, rancid oil and consisted mostly of a thick batter with the thinnest actual onion slice. I ate two small rings and tossed the rest. Just gross. I really wish I could have had an excellent dog and rings, because when I indulge in a fast food meal, that's what I love, and few places offer hot dogs anymore.
