Five Guys Burgers and Fries is my guilty pleasure of burger joints. I can taste the extra fat, calories and cholesterol that comes with it but wow is it a good burger! This location is mid-sized and kept clean. Customer service was pleasant and professional. Prices are fair and I would say you definitely get what you pay for. I really like the options they have here as well. You can dress up your burger in so many ways! My only complaint with this Five Guys is my complaint with the whole company in general, the food is too fattening! Yes, it is delicious but when I can taste the grease and fat, it just turns me away considering other burger joints can deliver the same good tasting quality with healthier ingredients. Overall, I like Five Guys. I typically only venture here if I'm on a "vacation diet" but if you enjoy a good tasting burger, then definitely try it out! read more

I've been to many Five Guys from Oxnard to San Diego and this is the worst location. The cook was loud and was messing up orders. There were five people working at the time and only four customers. The kitchen wasn't clean. There we're smashed fries all over the ground. There wasn't a clean table top in the dining area. The restrooms were horrible. DON'T eat here. I tried the one in Redlands a couple years ago and did not like it one bit. I decided to give this location a try with my boyfriend since we live down the street. BAD IDEA! I got so sick and my boyfriend didn't feel too good after we ate here. Their burgers are so bland it's ridiculous. I don't get their set up either with all the peanuts. It just looks dirty. She spent her time writing things on masking tape and sticking them on her male coworkers. Went here after a Roller Derby Scrimmage and Chillis had a 45 min wait. Nice and clean inside and the service was friendly. The burgers (I got a bacon burger) was good and the coke machine was fun to pick and choose yourself what you wanted to drink. The atmosphere didn't really lead itself to staying too long though. But other then that it was a nice place with good burgers. I would just recommend it to go. Chairs at home would be more comfortable. read more

I will never come back to five guys again. Had a pretty simple order. When we got home the order was wrong. I called the store to tell them it was wrong and that I'd be coming back to get a new one. I explained what had happened to the young lady who answered the phone. She told me to his on but I could hear everything she said when she told the person "talk to this guy, I don't know what he wants". So again I had to tell another person what had happened. He said they would start making it the right way as soon as he got off the phone and I could come pick it up. I drove back to the store and they hadnt even started making it yet. Two orders went out before they decided to stop socializing and make my order. Terrible customer service and they couldn't have cared less about what had happened. This is not the first time i come to this place but when i do i expect great food for the price im gonna pay, got 2 hotdogs n 2 burgers 2 drinks and 1 regular fries $34.94 if u tell me thats a little too much but then again i want a great burger. There have been a couple times where we might have misspoke or they got our order incorrect, and they fixed our burger without any fuss or cost. Good atmosphere, and of course free peanuts! Yum! I don't know if the cook was paying attention to making the meat for my cheese burger or not which didn't seem like it cause he was interested in talking to everyone but focusing on the meat. Whenever I am craving a hamburger I usually come to this place. I use to go to in n out a lot. But ever since I found out about this place I haven't gone back to in n out! I believe this place beats in n out! There meat is fresher and the hamburgers are tastier. I like the fact that you can customize your hamburger. The fries are my favorite!! They are so tasty and they give you a whole bunch! I've also had there milkshakes. I've had there Oreo milkshake and it was delicious! The only downfall of this place is the price. Having previously checked out the location in Rancho when it first opened and not being that impressed, I figured I'd check out this new one close by my house now that I've let the hype settle out of my consciousness. It was also national cheeseburger day, so I couldn't resist the urge. I ordered a single patty with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and bacon. Unfortunately, with all hype removed, I am still not impressed by this place. As others have said, the patties just aren't good. They don't have any flavor to them, whether that be from lack of any basic seasoning or the quality of the meat itself. And I'm not even talking about seasoning like Jack in the Box is doing now or Burger King's steakhouse whatever you call it burger, just some basic seasoning. The patty also seems to be overly compressed and lacking really any moisture that gives it a rubbery texture. Bacon is also too thin and barely noticeable. Everything else is just meh. Sure, it's better than a McDonald's burger, but I'd frankly rather have just about any other burger than a Five Guys one. Considering the price for the burgers, there just seemingly isn't any reason for me to order a burger here. People claiming this is a great burger are kidding themselves. The basic fries are good quality in the realm of In n Out freshness but a bit thicker cut. The cajun fries are alright, but it's basically just regular fries with a slightly spicier Lawry's seasoning salt on them. Will I still eventually find myself standing in line here stubbornly trying to find a burger with the right combination of toppings that I'd actually be satisfied with? Most likely. That's just who I am. For all others though not willing to spend your hard earned money on an average at best burger, I'd suggest going just about anywhere else. In a world of In n Out, Farmer Boys, and numerous other quality local burger joints, Five Guys just doesn't cut it. read more
