What we got wasn't anywhere near what we were charged, I mean for value! 2 burgers 2 lg fries soda & Milkshake over $40! But maybe that's the going rate in California! Tried this place for the first time earlier in the day, and had great service. I'm particular about my pickles not tasting sweet so when I asked the ridiculous question to the staff if the pickles tasted like relish, they didn't judge me They actually took my question very seriously and asked the staff in the back because no one on the kitchen floor had liked pickles. I had to wait for my burger even though my burger was ready, I had to wait for 4 more burgers to be made & the burger was paper thin thinkness, they advertise juicey how. I asked for regular fries l asked what the differences between large & regular said reg. Serves 2to three people all the server does is give you small & dumps additional fries in the bag & they were burnt. So glad I decided to come in tonight. Originally, I was considering In-n-out but I didn't want to wait in a long line at the drive thru. As usual here in Fontana. Managed to squeeze in here about 9:15pm and I was so glad the place was basically all to ourselves. The Young Man working the grill and register was sharp and attentive. Not coming here again paid $49.31 not worth it the soda machine out of drinks had to Waite for the soda machine to be filled out of all diet drinks the tables dirty all of the available ones and the food was not done right half the burgers missing what we wanted and the fries where burnt so we al least had those re made $49 was way too much to pay for bad bad bad food giving a one star because the kids working there very friendly. I don't know if they try to fill orders in numerical order.. but if a person just orders a shake.. or just FRIES... Overall the quality and service is on par with other Five Guys. But both my husband and I specifically ordered "hamburgers" aka no cheese and when we got home our burgers had cheese on them which of course means we also paid for cheese. Had we ordered based on a food allergy or intolerance it would have been a problem. I was a teen working fast food once so I didn't lose any sleep over it, but maybe double check your food before heading out if it's important to you. read more

Had a mix up with my online ordering. The manager that was there said they couldn't Refund me. But could give me credit for that store. I told him I didn't want to credit and I wanted a refund. He told me that the owner wouldn't want to give me my refund. I asked to speak to the owner of the store he they said that the owner never comes in. I think that's absolutely ridiculous. I called corporate and they were happy enough to give me my refund right away. Worst customer service ever. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars. My boyfriend and I went for dinner yesterday. There was NO ONE inside when we ordered so we didnt expect a huge wait... they called us TWICE... first time was for peanuts.. second time was just our shake.. we didnt think nothing of it and waited patiently for our food. After almost 30 mins of sitting around waiting we realize no one is even cooking? So we were so thrown off? I go up to ask how much longer since we ordered at 7:20 and it was already 7:57.. they tell me "oh we called that order and no one came up" my boyfriend and I were so confused because we were the ONLY ones inside.. did they think we were sittin there for fun? The guy who claimed to call our number was the one who took our order and I explained that we were called for peanuts & shake? After that incident... we had to wait for our food to be remade and it was just awful. I had ALL the WRONG toppings but I just picked out what I wanted and didnt. At this point I was starving and irritated I just wanted my food. I dont recommend this place to no one. The employee at the register did a poor job. I ordered a bacon burger but was charged and received a bacon cheeseburger nonetheless. They forgot to serve my friend her milkshake and she had to request it again where they just gave her vanilla despite ordering salted caramel. Probably won't be coming here again. Went to Five Guys in New York years ago. It was delicious. So when we were in Fontana today, we decided we would give it a try. Our experience today at the Fontana store was very disappointing. I got a vegetarian sandwich and my friend got the bacon cheeseburger, Neither was very good. We both got fries and a drink too. Your prices don't match the quality of your food. Our combined bill of almost $30.00 was awful. We would have gotten better food for better price at In& Out or even Mc Donalds. Won't go back. read more
