4/11/23 I ordered a little burger (no bun) & this is what I received, a partially cooked patty. Very gross, made my stomach hurt.

My burger was not fully cooked, unbelievable and gross! It was a little burger without a bun, an easy order but I got this partially cooked patty.

Michael was the one who took my order, he was cry patience and nice to me, he explained everything and made me feel good and not rushed. The restaurant was very clean and fresh, and the rest rooms were clean as well. The food is amazing, i love burgers and the Cajun fires are to die for, you must true the Cajun fires Thanks for a good experience

Are these really worth $4 bucks

This is on the customer service and the fries. Usually when one walks into any establishment, you get a greet. Did not happen this time, was more rushed to take my order then anything. Gentlemen at the counter (tattoos) seemed like he was having an off day, fine. I'll let it slide, we have all been there BUT this is where it went from bad to worse. Specifically asked for my fires to be put in a separate bag, for the obvious reason that I don't want to have to dig down to my burger and have all the seasoning and oil covered on it and myself. Don't know if this is all establishment or just this one. But this is the second out of three times I have asked for my fries to be in a separate bag. Both times is seems that they give you far less fries as oppose as having them dump them on top of your burger. For paying nearly $14 dollars, I would expect far better. Rather go to In-N-Out and pay half the cost.

Too pricey for the food. Costs more to eat a burger here than at sit down restaurants. Not worth the price

Do they have a veggie burger?

They do but it isn't made out of veggie meat it just mushrooms green peppers and onions in bread

My ordered double dipped Big Beef Sandwich with Sweet Bell Peppers, melted Mozzarella Cheese, and Giardiniera was enormous, and after initially having my breath knocked away by the Giardiniera's overwhelming spiciness, my intestines soon settled down and I greatly enjoyed the melting concoction. The hoagie roll supporting this mammoth edifice of tender roast beef and embellishments nicely sopped up the au jus, and sank under the heat. The Chicago Dog that accompanied the Big Beef was a classic all-beef Hot Dog with a snap, rounded out with Emerald Green Relish, White Onions, Sport Peppers, and Yellow Mustard. For purists no ketchup is allowed on Chicago Dogs! Crinkle-cut French Fries added to my enjoyment of the meal. Diane liked her Fish Sandwich with a slice of American Cheese, and was especially fond of the Cheese Sauce into which she dipped her Fries.

4 out of 5 stars is the perfect way to describe this place. I wish I could give it a 5 out of 5,…read morebut the food didn't exactly meet the expectations I had for Portillo's. I ordered the chili cheese dog, and I was a little disappointed. The hot dog itself was good, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the chili--maybe I just chose the wrong option. On the other hand, the cheeseburger was really good. It reminded me of a classic backyard BBQ burger: simple, fresh, and satisfying. And honestly, simple is sometimes the best way to go. The atmosphere also added to the experience. It had a nice American charm that made the visit even better. Overall, this place was great, and I definitely look forward to coming back. There are still a few menu items I want to try next time.
