After more than 10 visits, I feel I have seen the full range of service experiences on offer, and I am happy to report that even on Five Guy's worst day, they still kick ass. Five Guys does everything right. They don't spend money to advertise because the customers do it for them for free (SERIOUSLY). I have the feeling that if you were rude to a customer even once, you wouldn't be working here. Dining room is spotless and everything just feels clean. The 2nd best burger chain in the world. Since there is no In-N-Out Burger in florida this will have to do. The burgers are freshly prepared to order and the fries are pretty good too. I had the cajun fries which were great. I'd suggest always getting at least a double burger because the patties are really small...like smaller than mcdonalds small... on the upside they are pretty thick. So I have been a huge fan of five guys and this is my number one choice for burger and fries. I have been supporting this location for over the past 8 yrs that I have been living in the neighborhood. Lately things have been slipping. Tonight I ordered a delivery via Uber Eats which I've been doing lately just because of convenience. I pay extra for premium delivery to expedite delivery. To be honest the quality has not been great. Tonight my order arrived ice cold (even with tracking the driver and having an acceptable time for delivery). Tonight I received a minuscule order of my regular size fries. It was barely half a cup and tasted like they were fried yesterday. Hard as a rock. To be honest this store just hasn't felt the same since the remodel. There seems to be a high turnover of staff and it's just not up to par in quality as it was before. I've been coming to the Boynton Beach Five Guys since they first opened. I've always loved the food. But that's not the reason for the review. The past couple times I've come, there is a woman named Zoey I who works the register amongst other duties at the restaurant. She is one of the most friendly people I've ever come across in restaurant customer service. I know that ordering a shake via delivery in FL isnt the safest thing but it was more like milk. Zero excuse for a shake to be that melted considering i only live 2.5 miles away. I dont know if it was the Uber Driver or store but shakes shouldn't be made until driver shows up. And driver needs to notice. The bright white fluorescent lights and white/red checkered tiled walls were not comforting or soothing. The loud noise and heavy grease smell is also pretty unappetizing. I've heard of Five Guys' reputation and stumbled across one as I was wandering around Florida looking for food. Would it match In-n-Out, my favorite California burger joint? I got the standard hamburger and fry combo. Hamburger piled high with every topping imaginable. The fries overflowed out of the container. (It took all of my self discipline to not finish them all.) Really disappointed in the service here. I thought maybe the first time it was just a few people having a bad day but I was wrong. Multiple visits and multiple times all with a terrible attitude terrible customer service and no respect for any of the customers. A burger wasn't in it for me, so I settled for the grilled cheese sandwich. It was ooey and gooey. The fries are good and they gave us a lot. We threw away half of them because it was too much. The peanuts were good. They tend to make a mess if you don't clean up after yourself. That's why I miss Roadhouse :P You can add as many toppings as you want for no extra charge. Went in tonight for my sons school fundraiser, I love five guys and frequently go to the Wellington location. I will always come out of my way to visit this location from now on! My food was made correctly and super quick! As the other reviews state we encountered Zoe, who just had the presence of an angel. I used to visit the original Five Guys in Arlington, VA. This one in Boynton Beach isn't as cool inside as the one in VA, but the food is absolutely as good. I used to go every Sunday as a treat for the week. Great. Great. Great. A few tips for those people that have never been to a Five Guys. Unless you are extremely hungry, you can get away with ordering the "Little Cheesburger"... it is a one-patty burger that is plenty for even a big guy like me. Especially if you get all the fixin's. Also, DO NOT order the "Large Fries" unless you want to eat a LOT of french fries. The way they generally do it at Five Guys is that they will get a cup, fill it with fries, put it in the bag, and then put more fries on top. A regular fries is plenty. Five guys in itself is a fine place no complaints about that, the issue is this locations staff who leave behind the counter to talk on the phone or just generally talk to each other and don't pay attention to the large intake of orders.
