Gluten Free: Yes, Item specific
Casein Free: Yes, Item specific
Honestly, the last thing that I was expecting to see during my travels in Spain was a Five Guys. Seriously, who knew that they had expanded their franchising outside of the United States.
Highlights/ Why I went to a US chain restaurant:
+ Gluten Free options. Yeah for the fries being fried in their own fryer, and yeah for a majority of their food being naturally gluten free.
+ They handled cross contamination extremely well. It helped that I had an explanation of being Celiac and I needed them to change their gloves, etc. in Catalan else it would have been lost in translation due to my awful language skills.
+ Hours - decent hours and they stay open consistently
+The food taste and quality is true to a typical Five Guys you would expect in the States. It will leave you full.
+ Fast and helpful service
+ One of the cleanest restaurants I've seen. There seemed to be multiple people cleaning and picking up
+Variety and plenty seating - some outside tables, a handful of bar top/lower tables on the main level, but a majority are located downstairs.
Tips:
+ Restrooms can be found downstairs
+ An elevator is available if a person is unable to make it down the stairs
***Expect to pay more than you would in the States. You can easily spend 18€ + on a little fry, burger, and a drink. read more
