I didn't try that. But the chocolate cheesecake was absolutely amazing. La Cehtral has a wonderful hip vibe to it, the people coming in are always happy, and they seem to leave very satisfied. Nicki, our waitress, doesn't serve in a pure function as a waitress because you order and pay online, or your order with golf pencils and a Spanish or English menu. But I would recommend you use the QR code, because it gives you a few more options, like cooking the burger medium or well, and things like adding an egg are included online. I don't know if you have the ability to use the picture I posted here of the QR code, but that would allow you to look at the menu and see the current prices. But be careful not to order unless you're sitting in the restaurant - understand that the QR code is keyed to that wood block, which in this case has the number three on it and that's what she uses to deliver the food to your table. read more

After a few days of tapas, my husband had a hankering for a burger. We found La Central and walked there from our hotel. The storefront is bright and welcoming and the inside is the same. The workers spoke English and gave us multiple ways to order. The burgers themselves were different than what we're used to in America, but were delicious, and the fries were fantastic. One thing to watch out for is their happy hour menu - comes with a side and drink. and well worth the deal! We got the class La Central as well as the veg burger and both were delicious, I was left licking my fingers. The burgers were cooked very well and the sauces were great. I am not sure what size patties they use, but I definitely looked larger than 8 oz. The presentation was great. On top of that, the flavors came together perfectly, making each bite delicious. The meat they use is definitely ground fresh and you could really taste the difference. The bun was also impressive, as it was able to withstand the heavy patty and all of the toppings without ever getting soggy or falling apart. We accidentally stumbled across LaCentral while shopping nearby at Vics Carla Lira. We hadn't checked out any reviews before dining, feeling that the ambiance said it all. I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich, while my husband and son both ordered burgers. We also shared a bowl of fries and some dessert: the almond brownie and blueberry cheesecake. Each sandwich was enormous and served with a deep-fried cheese stick with blackberry dipping sauce. Yum! The desserts were equally delicious and the perfect size. Randomly stopped by here for a burger and was super surprised how delicious it was! Got the classic burger with the angus beef and just wow. It was medium rare as requested and so juicy when I bit into it. The meat had a great bite to it and you could taste how fresh it was. They also had a mozzarella stick on the side dipped in some blueberry compote. This was absolutely delicious and really cut out how heavy everything was. I recommend sitting on the upper floor. The tables are nice, the napkins are great (serious napkins for serious burgers :P). There are 2 types of hot sauce, 2 types of ketchup and mustard table-side. The burgers come with a Mozarella stick in some kind of divine berry sauce. The fries were pretty good. The patatas bravas looked amazing, though I didn't try them. You have the option to get a whole wheat bun, many different meat combos, and they do offer a vegetarian option (1, it didn't look appealing to me, although I'm not a vegetarian).
