We landed at Walla Walla airport at 1pm (left the house at 5:30am) so we were hungry and thirsty…read more Lo and Behold! Quirk is Open and has a Great Food Truck - Agapa's serving up Yummy Eats! Quirk has a really good selection of bevvies to whet your whistle. They have IPAs, Stout, ciders, etc... but they also have some Wine too! They don't make wine, but if you are more of a wine person, they offer wine too. So... they aren't just a beer place. They are so much more! Quirk lets you do a sampler tasting so my mom and I tried 3 beers and 2 ciders. The surprising one for me ... the Kolsch! I've had this style by other folks... and I hate it. Quirk's Kolsch however... I found quite enjoyable. It wasn't the funky, harsh, weird after-tasting kind like I had experienced at other places. Theirs is smooth, light and quite delightful. I now stand corrected that I don't hate all Kolsch. Thank you, Quirk for educating me. The 2 ciders we tried were quite tasty too! I really liked the drier one, Fuji Cider. It was not very sweet, it had an apple essence and you could tell you were drinking a cider with alcohol. The Honey Pear Cider was sweeter... more like a fizzy soda so it was dangerous to drink because I could easily pound a few of those and not realize the alcohol content. BONUS: They have a Mexican food truck on-site (Agapa's) serving up homemade eats that are handcrafted with care. Their tortillas are not the regular thin, flimsy store-bought kind. They are Homemade! So good! My mom and I weren't super-duper hungry so we shared the Huarache (I'm sure I didn't spell that correctly.) It's like a Tostada. Quite tasty and filling. All in All... a great spot at the Airport District so I highly recommend you stop in either on your way in or out from the airport.

The pretzels appetizer was a couple of med 4"-5" pretzels with a couple dipping sauces that you choose. The steak bites are breaded (wish that was in the description ahead of time) and the cook was hit miss. I ordered medium rare. Some bites were medium but still very tender and juicy. I chose the Thai peanut dipping sauce. It was very good but also had a bite so if you don't like heat you may not want this choice. The tots and leftover sauce were tasty enough that they went home with me. . Got in just before the horde. This place was hopping on a Saturday night and once it filled up the acoustics made conversation a bit more difficult. Over all a good place.

Then, they kept getting our orders incorrect. I wondered if it was because it was a loud environment and it was hard to focus on getting orders right or, it also seemed like they were understaffed for the large amount of people that was there. The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about. I had a huckleberry lemon drop which was really delicious (and surprisingly strong for a lemon drop!). Came here on a summer Saturday evening and while it was pretty crowded, there were still tables available and any wait times were very minimal. There are usually live bands playing here on Saturday evenings and it's a nice social environment, but don't expect fast service here.

Happy to add a 5 star review for this place. Sorry for the long content…read more I was visiting WW and hoped to dine at the steakhouse or another place in town on Main Street. Last minute plans foiled everything, but I noticed online that the brewery offered some of the same menu as the steakhouse side. So I made a reservation. And so glad I did. One thing to be aware of - this place has a 20% percent service charge added to your bill automatically. However, for me, the concept worked perfectly. I had at least a company of 6 (maybe 7) folks working together, seating and serving and checking on me. I felt really attended to, and so I don't mind that the company has this policy. I ordered the Brussel Sprouts (huge portion and amazing), the Cabernet flight, and a filet and baked potato. Had a decent conversation with the server about medium rare versus medium, and I ordered medium. When it arrived, the server asked me to cut into it to check the color, maybe it's the way they do things or maybe because this cut had such a char on it. Technically it came closer to medium well, almost no pink, but I said it was fine. And guess what? It was better than fine. It was AMAZING! The char added so much flavor, and it was still juicy and oozing some juices onto the plate, so definitely a great cut of meat because it being slightly overcooked didn't ruin it. I may have a new appreciation for medium. Paired extremely well with the glass of Merlot I ordered. Too full for dessert, but not grossly so. I am definitely planning a return. I'm not sure whether to sit in the steakhouse side or the brewery again. All the patrons around me were great company. Could be the full moon tonight, but this meal was as good as the same types I've had in New York for twice as much. Definitely having delicious local wines at reasonable prices helps with the price point. Now to try the beers!!

Crossbuck is able to accommodate a large number of people because we were here with 11 people for a family dinner. I will say I loved the brussels sprouts they're slightly crispy almost flash fried, so so so good. The top sirloin was okay, It was cooked well, but I should have ordered it with the butter. The mac & cheese is one of the best things on the menu. The smoked Gouda with the candied jalapeño I mean it's exquisite. However, half of our party did have a pretty long wait to get our food. Half of our party was finished eating before the other half started their food. All and all it was okay but a great family friendly place. I would recommend I think our party was just too large.

It had a nice laid-back feel to it. Our server was very friendly and responsive, and the food was tasty. The next day, I realized I had likely left my credit card there. I called them to inquire about it and they confirmed that I had indeed left the card there. As we were already on route back to Portland I asked if I could pay them to mail the card back to my Portland address. They were happy to mail it to my address at no charge. They said that it wasn't the first time people from out of town had left their credit cards there and they are always more than happy to mail it back to their customers free of charge. The card arrived in the mail a few days later. We appreciate our experience at this establishment, not just because of the good food, but also for going out of their way for their customers.
