If I had treated a customer like that I would have gotten a visit from my supervisor. Maybe some training is in order, on how to handle this situation is needed. They had my favorite hydration drinks that are typically at least $3. So I had to buy them all. There was only one associate working. Her name was Marge. In my clumsy stupidity I accidentally dropped one and of course it started spraying everywhere. Marge was the only one there and had close to a dozen people standing in line and she handled it like a PRO! If I had been her I probably would have started crying or quit. People were inpatient and rude to her. Why? Was it her fault she was the only one working? I highly doubt that. I cleaned up my own mess because I knew those people in line would have probably lost their minds if she helped me. This woman was ALONE! I am also quite capable of cleaning up messes I make. Why do some people feel the need to use their hateful lives and take it out on store workers! Marge YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR! The customer is NOT always right! You deserve to be recognized and give this woman raise. It was also a Friday which means payday for some. Also probably means a busy day! May want to rethink the scheduling. But then again, it's hard to find got help when they get sh*t on every day, Now that I am thinking about it, I was in a week prior trying to find school supplies. I had forgotten my glasses, so it was not fun. An employee named Arnel came to my rescue. Took time out of what he was doing to help me and my lack of vision. Every 5-10 minutes he would come back and check on me and help. He's also a rock star and my hero. I would give you both a raise if I could. Corporate needs to know that not everyone is replaceable. After waiting in a long line with one cashier, they finally got another one, this lady actually had a badge that said she was management, so the expectations were raised a bit. With the first customer, she promptly left somewhere into the back and didn't return for about 10 minutes when she finally came back with a box which apparently wasn't even what the customer needed. You should've seen the confusion on the face of "management". This entire store is consignment sporting goods stuff. Tents, sleeping bags, fishing equipment, black powder, ammunition and clothes such as boots and jackets. They even have an on sight gunsmith that really knows his shit. The staff was extremely helpful and really went all out to help us. The prices are considerably lower than buying new and the equipment was all in very reasonable shape. This place really is great to just browse. I found a few bags of 45 acp for dirt cheap. The parking is simple and the area is quiet. I will be checking this place out occasionally just to see what they have.
