I would normally never even review a dollar tree store as I'm fairly sure they don't care much about bad reviews but what I just went through was fairly amazing. After waiting in a long line with one cashier, they finally got another one, this lady actually had a badge that said she was management, so the expectations were raised a bit. With the first customer, she promptly left somewhere into the back and didn't return for about 10 minutes when she finally came back with a box which apparently wasn't even what the customer needed. You should've seen the confusion on the face of "management". At this point, since I was already 20 minutes into a five minute quick store, check out I finally came to the realization that this was not meant to be so to save me what was probably going to be another 20 minutes of waiting, I headed out. This Dollar Tree has definitely stepped up to the plate. The workers are always pleasant and kind. The store is by far the cleanest and neatest store around. I tend to find the items I need here when other stores don't have any on the shelves. This store is my go to, even though it's farther for me to go. read more

They never have more than one cashier. Today two employees were wasting time filling balloons, and were rude to the cashier actually working when he asked for help. These two ladies need to be fired. Unacceptable. read more

I had over half an hour left before closing, but as soon as I walked in a worker said loudly that they would be closing soon. I nodded and as I walked towards what I needed the light was turned off then on. There were at least two more couples in the store at the time. I was done in less than 10 minutes and that worker had barely finished inflating one balloon another customer was shopping for. read more

I think we might have passed by this Dollar Tree sometime back when Hubs needed some items aka the FABRIC Store a couple doors away etc, but I cannot recall when. Hence after our Dinner a couple steps away, we decide to go here since Hubs needed some item. When we arrived its almost CLOSING TIME, yet the staffs welcome us with open arms. Hubs managed to get the items needed. Just another DOLLAR TREE, which I don't mind returning to. Ooohh, and they have those CHIPS I have been "searching" for ages.. since the last stock in my pantry were all gone many moons/months ago. If I am NOT mistaken, this Dollar Tree is situated in the Centennial Square Shopping Center. They have refrigerated and frozen items though smaller in scale. Some of the Greeting Cards are $0.50 each! SCORE!!! All in all a Decent Dollar Tree. The Sales Associate who handled our transaction that evening, her name is Joanna. I called and had a question and the woman just kept saying good morning thank you for calling dollar tree, I rephrased my greeting/question several times until she hung up on me. In addition to that whenever I do go into this store it's always messy and maybe one employee is working. If you are not happy with what or where you're working and you don't apply yourself or perform, how do you suspect to do better or even maintain your current employment? Came by at 7:20pm on a Friday (3/4/22) and the doors were locked, no sign saying they were closed or closing early. I also attempted to call since all of the lights were on, and nobody answered. read more

Will never shop here ever again. The manager, "Morgan" if that was even her real name and if she was truly the "manager" is the most unprofessional human I have ever encountered. Slurring words, liquid slop on her shirt from whatever she was drinking or eating while talking on the phone and smoking a cigarette right by the front door of the entrance. I had my children with me and couldn't believe the audacity she had when I asked that she put out her cigarette or smoke somewhere further away from the building. Shame on Dollar Tree for hiring someone so disrespectful - you've lost my business at this location and I hope it's not like this elsewhere. There are plenty of respectful and classy individuals that would gladly take this ungrateful woman's job and actually do it professionally. Very disappointed. read more

Dollar Tree sometimes has grate deals and this location is grate. The only thing is that this is this location would be more frequented, if it was posable to know when it is open. The amount of time this location has been closed feels like it's permanently close or heading that way. The future of this location doesn't look good. read more

Not all Dollar Trees are made the same. This one is pretty awesome in my opinion. I'm also really lazy when it comes to shopping so the more convenient option, the better. After I realized this one was the closest possible Dollar Tree to my house, it became my go-to store. They have everything I need to buy at a Dollar Tree. Which I can't really explain because its not like I make a list for the Dollar Tree, I just go there and see what I can buy for a dollar. Sponges, soap, chips, candles; you name it. They have it all and it is WELL organized. I even bought a 4 pack of toilet paper. The employees are nice and always strike up a conversation with me when I'm checking out. The store is really clean and everything is easy to find. Its also not as busy as the others I have been to, which is nice because I hate waiting. I'm sure I'll be back soon, because you never know what you can find for a dollar. read more

As a secret shopper night I went in at 6:00pm Thursday the 19th of Dec. My goal was to return a gift card purchased in error by my child earlier this day. I asked two clerks for a store manager. One clerk sent me to the next clerk who asked what it was that I needed. I asked, are you the manager? She promptly said no. I said then you are not who I need. I asked for a manager. She said that she would act as a manager and asked me again what it was that I needed. I told her I needed a refund on a gift card that was purchased earlier that day. She said it was against corporate policy to give any refunds. I asked if I could speak with a manager again. She said, I don't know why you would want to speak with a manager when he would tell you the exact same thing I'm telling you. Again I asked politely to speak to a manager. She rolled her eyes and said well OK. She picked up the phone and called for a manager who came out of an office just two lanes away. I told him my dilemma that my youngster had purchased it in error and is there anyway we could possibly get her her money back. He said it was corporate policy and that he couldn't back it off on the computers. I said is there anybody at corporate that I can talk to.? He said yes let me get you their number and he disappeared into an office where he began to make frantic phone calls trying to find a phone number for corporate. You could hear him over the wall talking to various people and saying that this man wants a refund on a gift card. Then slight arguments about whether or not a refund could be had or not. Then he came out and said that he could not find a phone number for corporate but he would continue to look. He went over to the lady who referred him to me in the beginning and asked her if she knew a phone number for corporate and she got i'm set with him regarding me. Both of them asking how do we know he's not from corporate and a customer chiming in well if he was from corporate then he would know the rules. I then went over to the collection of the short mob that seem to be collecting and told them that I was doing a secret shopper on the store and that it seems that not only did the clerk and the manager score low but so did the customers. Seems like a very poor rating during the Christmas season. Now in all actuality if I were the manager of a store that did not give refunds but knew that a little girl had accidentally purchased a $20 gift card I would pull a $20 bill out of my pocket give it to the gentleman standing in front of me and tell him give this to your daughter and I will sell the gift card myself when the next person comes by looking for a gift card. There is always an easier and far more friendly solution to every negative problem in the world. And that's where I'll leave the story! As a sidenote I went to the dollar tree corporate.com site to look for a place where I could talk to somebody and help them understand what I ran into this evening. I challenge you as a challenge to myself this evening, defined a place where you can actually talk to anybody in the dollar tree corporate world. Everywhere I checked and re-tried and re-checked it would take me back to ordering something And spending some money somewhere but nowhere did it give me a chance to give any kind of feedback or ask for any kind of help. I don't normally go to the Dollar Tree but someone told me about inexpensive Halloween decorations so I stopped by. If you have a grandparent that has eye problems- $1 reading glasses. They have $1 bags of cheap munchies. This is Colorado so $1 bags of goldfish and Cheetos :( read more

The lines are usually long, item quality is mediocre, definitely has its little gems, and hey everything's just a dollar!

Stopped by tonight for a couple quick items 15 min before closing. My greeting by someone with a management nametag was " We're closing in 10 minutes." Grabbed what we needed in about 5 minutes during which time 2 closing announcements were made. After that I decided I needed to browse for a few more minutes just to piss them off. Don't worry I won't be back at this location to inconvenience your employees anymore. read more
