This was my first time there, and when I tried to ask a question, she basically wanted me out so she could close up shop. I'll never be returning. Very rude service.

Glitz and glam is the theme! Lots of bedazzled products right and left that you may need some sunglasses upon entering. The store itself is large and has lots of different products. From costume jewelry, shoes, purses, clothing, and more. This is a perfect store for a homecoming, prom, or other special event and you need some bold and fancy jewelry. I wouldn't say that the store is good for staple pieces or every day wear. As I mentioned the style is very glam. Dare I say it falls on the gaudy side? A few pieces here and there are great to buy, but if you bought every single piece and wore it at once, I think it would be a bit too much and too loud. Again, unless that is your style then go for it! Staff are usually friendly. Their exchange and return policy isn't that great. However, I was able to return a Christmas gift that I received and was able to get store credit on a gift card. They also have a rewards program. But be warned if you pay with a gift card and your out-of-pocket cost isn't high enough, then you can't get loyalty reward points for it. A tiny area is in the back for clearance. They also have dressing rooms to try on clothing. Overall it's a fun store to visit, but depends on your taste and what exactly you are looking to buy.

I browsed around and found a plethora of cashmere sweaters from rack to rack. I have never seen so many different cashmere sweaters in one boutique shop. It was quite fantastic. My grandmother, great aunts, mom, cousins and I all have a love for cashmere sweaters. It's the perfect fabric for 3 out of 4 seasons. I found 5 different cashmere sweaters and all different styles, cuts and colors too. The burgundy with the two cut out on the upper chest looked fun, but it wasn't so flattering on. Plus I tend to wear them to keep me warm and the cutouts would make it drafty for sure. The dark color didn't suit me well either. The gray with the angled shoulders looked unique, but made me think of Star Trek every time I looked at it. Didn't suit me either. The pink and gray vintage seamed was loose but not too baggy. My husband found it baggy on me, but it was quite comfy. The other pale pink sweater fit me like a glove and the sleeves were nice too and the whole sweater was form fitting. The first gray sweater is my absolute favorite. It caught my eye on the mannequin and that's the one I bought since it fit me perfectly. I liked the cinched or gathered design all over the sweater. It fit me well and the design is subtle but unique enough. 3 new cashmere sweaters to keep me toasty and warm this fall / winter for years to come. Service was good. Will be back for more cashmere sweaters in the future.

The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. They clearly refresh their stock frequently and it's always great to stop in here for inspiration and intentionally unique gifts for the loved ones in your life...including yourself!

I have 500 pairs of shoes so why not jewelry? Because I'm very hard on it. I usually lose one earring. My necklaces break. I have never owned a jewelry box so that may be part of the issue. In fact, I literally just got my ears pierced last year. Haha. I actually got them pierced because I had lost some weight and bought a new outfit and wanted to look my best for him for a special occasion. It required just a pop of color. I wanted to wear earrings! So I got them pierced. Right after, I started looking for the perfect jewelry to add that pop of color and I decided to go into Brighton since I got my ears pierced at Partridge Creek. I walked in and was immediately greeted. The staff is super helpful. You can tell they love their job! I told her what I was looking for and both women immediately started hunting. They came up with a beautiful earring and necklace set. I wish I had gotten the bracelet too. It's really great quality. The necklace is actually heavy! I'm really bad at looking at prices when I shop so I was in for a bit of a surprise when they told me the total. This place is definitely not for the frugal. I was having some money issues at the time and swallowed hard and paid it because I was embarrassed. I figured I would go home and if I had buyer's remorse, I would return them. But I didn't. I kept the items and they have had a lot of use! But as I said,. Very hard on my jewelry. I broke one of the earrings. I was so sad. I went on line and tried to find a replacement set, but they don't make them anymore. I decided to go back to the store and see if maybe they had any left hidden somewhere. I was disappointed to find out they didn't. But then, as I was talking to them, they told me that they back their items and I could bring the earrings back in and they would send it back to the factory for repair. If they couldn't repair it, they would replace it. I was so happy! It took 6 weeks and I ended up getting a new set of earrings for free. This is good customer service and this will bring me back for all my jewelry needs. This makes the cost well worth it!
