This is the place to look. From trinkets, to clothing and food, to jewelry and wall art and so much more... it's definitely worth a stop and shop. The soup mixes and dips are very good and the chocolates are even better! We've purchased Christmas gifts for the 'hard to buy for' people and they've always been surprised and pleased with the unique gifts they received. We're fortunate to have such a cool store where local crafters and artists can display their creations. It's well worth your time to take a stroll through the store because it's one of those places where you never know what treasure of cool gift you might find! February 29, 2024 - "Thankful Thursday And Happy Leap Day!"…read more Review #465 I have lived in Macomb since 1992 and a Yelper for 8 years, yet I have never written a review for this Hallmark store that I have shopped in the past. So I will be the 2nd one to review this business but in a positive, helpful and detailed way! I saw my previous photos for this business back when the name was Kristi's. It has a new name Kristi's Hallmark Gold Crown because it has so much merchandise and for all occasions, holidays, birthday, encouragement, sympathy, appreciation, mahogany, LGBTQ, military support or special celebrations to name what I saw slowly in my amazement! After talking with employee Tina today, she agreed to let Me take photos from my experience walking throughout to help her business and also helping other shoppers nearby and Yelp Friends. May You Enjoy My Photos Attached: With A Fascinating Vision Of A Shopping Experience at this Kristi's Hallmark Gold Crown Store and the merchandise! :-) Quick History: Hallmark became established on January 10, 1910 in Nebraska by a man named J. Their Cards are too expensive and I can barely find any Mahogany theme cards. It's so hard to find a card with great inspirational reading inside. You are paying for all that additional glitter, the design on card and not the quality of poetry, poems and writing inside. You find the same thing for less and cheaper at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and rite aide drugstores.

I very much dislike giving negative reviews, especially to locally owned businesses, but this one…read moreis definitely deserving. I found this store on Facebook and reached out to the business on Facebook. I communicated with the owner via Facebook messenger and booked a time to come in. My son wanted to make a coffee mug for dad's birthday. We booked our appointment three weeks before my husband's birthday. We arrived on time and found the location to be underwhelming. The front of the store has peeling lettering on the windows and the lobby was cluttered and unorganized. I'm a crafter and I work in a chaotic craftroom, but can definitely see how this would be off-putting. The lobby is definitely not appropriate for young children because of the tripping hazards. We were directed to the back of the store to pick out what we wanted to decorate. Along one wall was items that could be painted and brought home same-day. The other wall held items that would be painted and kept for "one week". My son wanted to make his dad a coffee mug for his birthday, so we chose a mug from the side that would need to be kept at the store for a week. The experience of decorating and the decorating process was pleasant enough, and my son enjoyed his time spent creating. This is why I have awarded this business two stars. Beyond the actual "creating" experience, there were no positives. My son finished his project, I went to the front of the store to pay, and we left. I filled out a form and the owner asked me if I wanted her to call me when it was ready or to message me on Facebook where we had already been communicating. I told her that either was fine and gave all of my additional contact information. After two weeks (a week before I needed our gift), I messaged the business on Facebook to ask if it was ready for pickup. The business read my message but did not respond. Another week went by without a response, so I messaged again. Again, my my message was read but no response. We found a different gift to give my husband for his birthday and I let my (very disappointed) son know that we could still give dad his gift, but maybe for upcoming Father's Day. I called three days later and left a message. I explained my issue and left my contact information. No one returned my call after a week. I came during business hours and the store was locked. Another week went by and I both messaged on Facebook (admittedly very irritated) then called the business. Miraculously, the owner answered and told me that they would be there the next day and gave business hours. They were to be open from noon to three. I arrived at 1:15 to locked doors, even though I spoke with the owner over the phone and confirmed the hours just the day before. Multiple messages and phone calls later, with lots of stress added, I've got the mug. Dad got his now "Father's Day" mug. The mug is cute. My son enjoyed creating it. The business doesn't operate like a business should, doesn't communicate with customers, holds projects hostage, isn't open during their business hours, and is overall just not a good experience. I would not recommend this business to anyone, even my worst enemy.

I found out about this place because of an event I saw on Facebook. It was open painting from 10am…read moreto 3pm and you could paint a fathers day themed plaster piece for $5. The place was a little hard to find, not sure why my GPS kept taking me to SkyZone nearby but it's just a couple buildings down from there. There weren't too many people there when we arrived around noon. We found a spot at the table and painted for about half an hour. The staff members were kind and refilled paint as needed. The bathroom has a padded changing table for babies which is nice. My 2 year old son had a fun time, we will definitely return :)
