Only 4 self checkouts open with several customers waiting. One young man at the front. He opens a register to try to move the line along. Was checking out the 2 customers in front of me and tries to direct me to self checkout. I do not ring my own stuff up after spending my money at your store. Let him know I'd just go somewhere else. Now, I DO not blame this man. I blame the manager and the company for not fixing this. There should ALWAYS be at least one lane open for customers who do not feel comfortable ringing and bagging their own items after shopping at your establishment.

As far as my hometown tj goes I would give it a higher mark but...our tj just moved all the way across the street from where it was previously...a whole stones throw away from where it was. Now for the sad part of the new store..it feels about half the size of the one we had. I'm not really sure what the plan was when I walk in. The guys section is literally 4 racks of clothes...the accessory section that was about the same size as the whole men's section is now is delegated to s small space shoved into the corner. It's kinda like trying out a new restaurant thinking you were gonna love it but in reality you hate it and wish you could just go back to the old one. Don't get me wrong, we still go there at least once or twice a week but we also go to the two in Chattanooga as well. They are both more similar to the old layout we had in Cleveland. My best bet is to just accept the fact it is what it is, but I'll definitely miss the old tj that had a larger selection and wasn't packed in like a sardine can.

I am usually an online shopper or I will travel to Atlanta to go shopping (Nostrum Macy's. One thing I do enjoy is a good mall walk in the summer time. Outside is to hot and me and the Gerries (Senior Fabulous Community) get to interact. The day I went there were about only 4 but it was great motivation. Sorry I get distracted back to the mall. I was very easy to manuver and very clean. You could tell that many stores closed down and it was an off season. I window shopped at Belk which is like Macy's and it was very nice. Overall they have your basic mall staples (Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, and JC Penny). It is very tiny but enough for the small community of Cleveland.

But as we walked to the shoe section there weren't burkes. Jacobs mom had me running around all of Cleveland trying to find burkes for back to school. But i had to tell her not even the burkes outlet store had them. Burkes outlet had great service and helped a lot with my confusion. Jacob's mom made me go all the way to Chattanooga to find HER son a pair of burkenstocks. And i had to pay for them. I told her I can't be spending all my money on your children, because I only get so much money off of the stimulus. Jim (my hubby) hanged out with the little ones because there mom was to busy having girls night with her fake friends and didn't get home till 3 in the morning. She came home sloppy drunk. There is plenty of parking and all these stores have great customer service. You can come to this shopping center on your day off, buy your groceries, get a hair cut, buy a honey baked ham, get some stylish clothes, get cell phone service, get your cd, new tv, a bird house, have a cup of coffee and read a book all here and not move your car.

I don't expect to be wowed for Walmart pickup, but today I was thanks to a wonderful worker, Rissa. She approached my car with a huge smile, and when she noticed I had my small dog with me, she asked if she could give her a treat (a small Milkbone). Of course, my dog was very pleased by this sweet gesture, as was I. Rissa then proceeded to gently load my groceries into my car trunk and asked if I'd like the bread with me so it didn't get damaged. I've yet to see this level of thoughtfulness at a pick-up, and it was much appreciated. Thank you, Rissa, for your exceptional customer service and care. You made my (and my little dog's) day!
