Thia was truly one of the best comic book / toys stores I have ever been in! Well laid out in many different themed areas, and with a huge amount of stock both new and old. I was especially surprised at the amount and quality of older comics. It was very easy to browse the aisles and just look at everything. I spotted several older items that had been in my 70+ years collection. And the scope of collectibles was vast. Comics, Toys, Models, Games, Record Albums, Clothing, Posters, etc., etc. I chatted with the manager, and he was very knowledgeable on all the items they carried. It was a fun time to reminisce. What a jewel out in the "country" area above Charlotte. A huge boon for all the collectors for miles around. Check it out!

The books are sectioned out, and the books on the shelves appear to be in some sort of alphabetical order. However, when it comes to the stacks of books, this is where the organization ends. Most of these books are not even facing the same direction. The shelves are really crammed tightly together. There was a whole section of the store I had no idea how to even get to. That being said, their prices are very reasonable, with a lot of books for less than $4 (at least the paperbacks). I think this place is cash only, but I couldn't tell. The staff was nice as well. If you have a little extra time and don't mind putting in some effort to find a gem or two, this place is definitely worth checking out.

You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

Old Navy always has sweet deals and I was able to pick up a few items at 50% off. I wasn't sure about one of the signs so I asked an associate and she was helpful with helping me understand which items the sale belonged to. The clothes were all nicely folded and there were many associates throughout the store on the floor that could assist people so I liked that alot. Oh and somehow I had $4 coupon I was able to redeem once I plugged in my number so that was great!

The store is huge & has lots of product. I love that everything is always nice & neat when I am here. Only issue is sizing. In some of their tops, you may wear one size & in another, a size up or down. An associate explained to me that it's could be because where the items come from - as different countries produce their clothing. Good to know! Service is great & pricing, even better!
