It was my first time and given it was the 23rd the store was a mess and at first I thought all they had was kids toys and cell phone accessories.glad I made a second pass and noticed they had a good variety of things. Not do much in food and homewares you'd find a places like big lots or dollar tree. I couldn't find any adult sized shirts either. I found the candy section and was satisfied. It's your typical Five Below; pretty random but you can find some great deals if you take a minute to look. I was a little frustrated because many of the Christmas decor items I liked were cracked or chipped but I did manage to find one without any issues. I was also annoyed because there were multiple walkways blocked off by wrapping paper while I was there. It seemed to be a traffic control approach but it I thought that was an odd solution. I have missed this store since I moved here so, when I was shopping at the pet store and saw it my heart skipped a beat. I am a bargain shopper through and through and this place makes me smile! For being a discount store everything is always well organized and stocked up on the shelves (except Christmas time when the toy area is a nightmare). They have a great selection of books, cook books, adult coloring books, nail polish, scarves, toys, slippers, cheap electronics, candy, games and I have even bought a $5.00 dog bed from here. They also have cheap holiday stuff to decorate your house with or wrap presents. The line to check out can get a bit backed up but, the cashiers are usually pretty quick. The only negative is the parking lot is tight in this corner because there is too many stores and not enough spaces close enough; especially during Christmas time. read more

Variety and notoriety. Better than some Dollar tree or Dollar general, yet kinda sad that cashiers are easily replaced by self checkouts. Recent trip made me curious of their Formfit Snack Tumbler. I liked the concept, yet think it was a half thought on the design. I would have placed the handle on the bottom portion ( that holds the drink), not on the snack portion. It does make it easy to have in your cupholder(the farther one from the gear shift), but unsecured from the base and the snack holder attachment. It keeps coming off and not a safe fit. Also, when trying to hold, it keeps coming apart from the drink(almost dropping my drink is not good). $5 spent, but no repeat buy ir suggest others to buy. Great surprise- they have my Bubble Tea...can't wait till more flavors are added. Very clean, stocked, friendly greetings from manager, yet the notoriety and novelty go hand in hand with the items. read more

WOW! This place has everything from really cool t-shirts to sweedish fish to ipad cases to board games... and it's all $5 or less. I got a pair of new headphones for the boy, an ipad cover for me, some sparkly iphone covers for the twins and some really cool Star Wars schwag for Mark. It's all name brand stuff, as well... none of that "who makes this?" stuff. Need school supplies? They've got them. New TShirts that are cool? They've got them. Hula hoops? Board games? Movie candy? Maybe the prices are low but the value and quality are lower. I bought a pair of socks as a gift. After one wash they are coming apart. I bought a few other items as well. Five belows return policy blows. I received a charger for an iPhone 5 and Samsung for xmas and requested the receipt so I could exchangr. I own a Iphone 4 & Galaxy 3 and found the correct chargers, however the cashier refusesd to exchange due to their 14 day store policy. Ohhh, to visit a state with a five below! We went pretty nuts in every store - new souvenirs we could buy, making sure I had enough polish (why won't you head west FB?!) Lots of variety - definitely come here if you're from out of town - don't waste $$$ buying souvenirs from some store downtown. Seriously, buy that crap here. It's weird to write a review for this store. It's basically Dollar Tree on steroids. Everything is $5 or less. It's, of course, a "you get what you pay for" situation. They have a lot of phone chargers/accessories, and I'd probably never buy any of that stuff here.
