I was looking for piñata's for a party in two days and I needed three. Two Minecraft and a stitch piñata. I called ahead and then when I got there, they had two sizes of each one to choose from and a room full of piñatas for that matter! Very helpful and very affordable definitely recommend for your party needs ! read more

So my kid was turning 7, right? He wanted a Moonwalk and a pinata. So we hopped in the car and hit all the places on Cesar Chavez Street looking for the perfect pinata. Raquel's Party Land had the best selection by far.He picked an orange Longhorn. I had previously looked online for moonwalks. The costs differ widely across the board. He wanted a combo (that's a moonwalk with a slide). So since we were there, I thought I'd check out their prices. I told them what I was wanting, and they showed me a picture of a green and blue one with a Tinkerbell banner. Then they explained how they can change the banner out. They had a Longhorn banner they could attach instead. We worked out a deal for the pinata and moonwalk. They even threw in a table and 8 chairs to go with, all for a very good price. I put down a $20 deposit and we were set. The day before the party was wet and the next day looked to be even wetter. I called them to discuss my options. They informed me that, although the deposit is nonrefundable, my deposit would be good for one year from the original reservation date. They also said they would call the next day before they delivered to verify the delivery. Whew! That put my mind at rest, but I really wanted it for the party day. I mean, the thought of 20 kids in the house did not sit well! Party day. First thing I did when I woke up was check the weather. 100% chance of rain. Next, I found myself on a website checking the hour-by-hour futurecast. It looked like a break in the rain, or spotty at best, during the 2 hour party window. They called, I said bring it on, and they came and sat it up. The skies cleared about an hour before the party and I had 20 bouncing, screaming, smiling, kids. Although they had said they would pick it up around 11 the next morning, they actually didn't get by until 5:30. That's like a whole other day! When discussing pinatas with a parent at the party, they said they thought the best place was "that first one you come to on the left and also on the opposite corner". I said that's Raquel's. Since I tried yelping first to find a good place for pinatas and couldn't find anything, I decided to let you know about my experience. It's a great all-in-one place to get everything (well, mostly everything) you need for a kid's party. read more

This place is amazing! I decided to do a little backyard party last minute for my daughters bday since COVID either has everything shut down or just not comfortable going to a place where a lot of people could be at. I was able to get a baby shark piñata, 2 tables and 10 chairs same day. When I went to pick up you could tell the store was recently cleaned and all the tables and chairs were thoroughly cleaned. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

We rented tables and chairs from here for a family reunion. The owner is extremely nice and a great communicator. They delivered the night before our event and picked up the day after. It was perfect ! read more

We rented tables, chairs, and tablecloths for a 90th Bday party at an Austin park. Both Isiah and his son were extremely respectful and reliable, and they had the lowest prices we found. We will definitely use these guys again. Such a wonderful family. read more

Love these guys for bouncy houses! They are always on time and very friendly. Great family and great business! We live pretty far from their shop "we are almost to Dripping Springs" but they have come out 2 times nice and early, set up and be out before the party. This is my go to party shop! The kids love the houses and they have so many different banners for the kids theme party. So far we have done Mickey Mouse Club house, Minecraft and will be doing Minni Mouse next time. I really can't say enough great things about this place You can't beet their prices either! read more

Raquel's is the best deal for your money. They deliver and are very nice. I've used them twice and their prices are much better than the flashier places. read more

Incredible customer service. Raquel took care of me and gave me great suggestions. I went in only for a piñata and ended up buying a bunch of other stuff. Gracias Raquel! read more

If you are looking for a place that will custom make a piñata for you, this is it! All I did was email a picture and they had my piñata ready in days for a very reasonable price! p.s. I'm Mexican, so I know my piñatas ;-) read more

The pictures they show you on their website does not reflect the current inventory of piñatas. There were fewer than I was looking for in terms of more traditional piñatas. Services was not as helpful as other reviewers experienced when I arrived at the store on a Sunday in May 2017. read more

I will always go to Raquel's party land for any event. They were amazing! We had planned an outdoor concert for this past Saturday. It started pouring in the afternoon and most of the tent rentals I tried to contact didn't even answer the phone or closed by 2 pm. We contacted Raquel's at 6:30 for our 8 pm event. Not only were they available, they had two of the tents we needed, were able to assemble them for us and met us at the event in under 45 minutes. The prices were very fair and they were unbelievably pleasant throughout the whole experience. They really saved the day! read more

I wish I could give Raquel's Party Land 10 stars. We just had a backyard wedding for 100+ people, and Raquel and her staff could not have been more helpful. First of all, we contacted many businesses to rent chairs, tables and a 20x20 tent, and Raquel's prices were BY FAR the best. There were no outrageous add-on costs for delivery and set-up,etc. and they were very flexible in scheduling the delivery. Isaias and his crew were very friendly, and very efficient at arriving on schedule, and getting things quickly loaded in and set up. If you are having a party, I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

Nice selection of piñatas. I got a multicolored striped donkey for a friend's party for $25. He loved it. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. read more

There are about 5 of these places with in a few blocks of each other over here on Cesar Chavez. They all have pretty much the same stuff for pretty much the same prices. What makes the difference is your experience in dealing with the employees and owners. I've been to several of them and had some pretty poor customer service. Raquel's, on the other hand has always been very friendly, and helpful. It's a small family run business and you can tell that they are happy to help you, not annoyed that you are bothering them. The store is pretty small but they have a large warehouse full of stuff, so while some of the bigger stores run out of inventory ( tables, chairs, etc ) Raquel's always seems to have stock. read more

I found the exact pinata we wanted for my son's party. Pinata was a great price and much bigger than I found at big box party store competitor. Staff was nice. read more

This place is amazing!!!!! Ran short on time planning my 5 year old's birthday. Took a photo of a Dracula piñata and asked them to make something similar - they made it on short notice with the stick to match, didn't charge me extra for the rush, and the piñata they created was even better than the picture I showed them. Also got bouncy house and generator from them. They were beyond flexible and accommodating with drop off and pick up and had excellent communication throughout. Highly recommend Raquel's! read more

Raquel's Party Land - Custom Dracula Piñata by Raquel's - Party Supplies Near Me - Austin, Texas

While I'm sure they're great for party supplies and piñatas, I'd advise anyone renting tables and chairs from here to think twice OR carefully inspect the condition they are in before leaving the store. I rented 2 rectangular tables with 16 chairs and was shocked at how dirty everything was. Dirt and food was caked over everything. Surprised they would rent out their product In that condition. Guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned! read more

It was the best of disasters. Isaias and Raquel were very helpful and we arranged the equipment well ahead of time. For whatever reason, perhaps because I was doing everything from out of town, when the day arrived we discovered that there had been two huge miscommunications! Isaias went above and beyond to make things work out. I can't say enough about how willing he was to find a solution, even coming out early and trucking in a third tent! I would recommend writing up a very clear invoice to avoid these confusions, but I would equally recommend using this excellent crew. read more

I drove an hour to this location after reading the Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did! I had no clue as to what kind of pinata I needed for a 5 year old's birthday party when I walked in. The owner (I'm assuming?) was so nice and she asked me questions I never thought of when she saw I was being indecisive. Who knew choosing a pinata would be so hard? It was a very smooth transaction that lasted no more than 10 minutes, which is awesome! She had a very impressive selection and I'm sure I'll return if I ever have kids. Thanks again! The kids and adults loved the pinata! It took a while for us to break it, which is what we prefer because that only means the adults and teenagers get to be kids again. :) read more

This place was soo awesome! We rented a moonwalk a generator and bought a HUGE piñata! Prices were very very affordable compared to other party rental business! Would recommend this place for sure! read more

This lady is a bitch!! We scheduled to rent tents and bouncy houses 3 weeks in advance. After initial visit and email I never heard from her again. Tried calling several times and it was always no answer! I finally go down there to see what the heck was going on and by no surprise, she wasn't there!! Talked to another lady that proceeded to tell us we weren't on the calendar and they rented our stuff to someone else. Now, with the event 2 days away from the event, I am scrambling trying to find everything I need. On top of all this, beware they don't have insurance and do not get their equipment inspected read more

I ordered a Lego Police Man pinata that did not bear any resemblence to a Lego minifigure. I had even left them one of my son's minifigures for their use as a template. Looks like they pasted a "badge" onto an old Bart Simpson pinata. read more

I have never had a more satisfying experience with a business! After calling a million tent rental places with ridiculous setup and delivery fees, I stumbled across Raquel's Party Land. Not only did Raquel's have exactly what I needed, but they worked with me-- around my budget, around my schedule and did everything to make me a satisfied customer. The crew came on time, quickly assembled the tent and was incredibly nice. When the forecast showed rain, Isaiah called me to work with me on a plan for the tent flooring. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place. This is a rare, rare business! You will not regret using them! They offer tent rental, party rentals of all sorts and the best customer service in Austin! read more

We have rented from Raquel's twice and have had great experiences both times. The first time we rented a moonwalk for the next day and they gave us a great price and showed up on-time. The second time we did a combo rental of moonwalk, two tables, 12 chairs and a pinata and they gave us an awesome price. The pinata we wanted (a treasure chest) wasn't one they had on hand so they had to custom make it. Let me tell you- it was AWESOME! They went above and beyond- adding on necklaces, rings and jewels. It looked amazing and everyone at the party was really impressed. They showed up when they said they would and everyone who works there is great! Highly recommended. read more

It was last minute and after business hours and Raquel's came through for us! As a non profit organization with volunteers doing it all, we are sometimes not so organized. It was a relief to have that kind of support and great price too! Our event was a success in large part to the good people at Raquel's! We would use them again! read more
