I was wearing mine, but several customers unfortunately weren't. Anyhow, I came in search of the Halloween merchandise, to buy some inexpensive stuff for my haunted house I do every year. I thought TJ Max was empty, no this store is empty. Whole shelves with nothing on them, only one pillow left in the whole store. Only one cashier was working and the line was long so i decided I did not need pillows that bad. For a hot spot for Covid you would think that these popular stores in our area would do better. I felt like it was worse today than it was in March, thinking I should stay home a little longer.

It could be a bit more organized in the home decor and beauty aisle (the beauty items that are on sale are an absolute mess. Sometimes there are things missing from the box and makeup items splattered everywhere), things would be easier to spot. Like every other TJ Maxx, everything is always more affordable and good quality. It's always a good place to shop for yourself and for others. The employees are always so sweet and hold up a conversation. Quality wise, I recommend this place over the other department store chains. Price wise, there will be cheaper, but I sometimes prefer quality over price depending on what I'm buying.

Even the main number just rang. When my daughter finally got through to someone in the deli department (the 1st time) she was met with a very rude and unhelpful individual. I had call from another city in order to speak to a manager. THEN, I still received an email reminding me to pick up the tray on the original day, after the manager said that she would change the information. My daughter called back the next day in order to make sure that the tray would be ready on the day needed and she STILL couldn't reach anyone on the main number or on the deli number after callin five (5) times and letting it ring. VERY frustrating. She has to now drive to the location today and hope that the tray is ready for pick up. I understand being busy but I have experienced busy stores in metro-Atlanta and have never encountered such poor customer service from Publix. Hoping that they improve in order to save the Publix legacy.

Even their grocery section is small. May seem big to people who have never seen a Super Target, but again, they could totally offer more. Interactions with employees can be hit or miss. Some of them are really professional, while others yell at each other and blurt out their entire business. I will give props to their pick-up employees. They were quickly even when they are busy. The store itself is fairly clean. But again, you cannot expect much from this location simply because it's Albany.
