Sometimes there are things missing from the box and makeup items splattered everywhere), things would be easier to spot. Like every other TJ Maxx, everything is always more affordable and good quality. It's always a good place to shop for yourself and for others. The employees are always so sweet and hold up a conversation. Quality wise, I recommend this place over the other department store chains. Price wise, there will be cheaper, but I sometimes prefer quality over price depending on what I'm buying.

With very few exceptions, the employees at Dawson Rd are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Every time I shop here, the level of customer service is shockingly low, I honestly don't know if it's a management issue, an issue with the area, or both, but it's consistent. The absolute worst areas are the deli and seafood counters. The employees there treat customers like an absolute burden or the enemy just for asking for service. It is a deeply uncomfortable and weird energy for a workplace where people are being paid to assist the public. If you hate working here that much, let someone else have the job who actually wants it. The only saving grace of this store is the meat department-the guys back there are always friendly, polite, and helpful. I've also run into a couple of kind associates in produce. But for everything else? Drive the extra distance to the Hwy 19 location. The staff there actually knows how to treat people with basic respect.

Even their grocery section is small. May seem big to people who have never seen a Super Target, but again, they could totally offer more. Interactions with employees can be hit or miss. Some of them are really professional, while others yell at each other and blurt out their entire business. I will give props to their pick-up employees. They were quickly even when they are busy. The store itself is fairly clean. But again, you cannot expect much from this location simply because it's Albany.
