We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. We were charged $145 and hour + the price of supplies. It was worth every cent to know that everything was done properly this time around.

These guys are absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone on Long Island. We're…read moreplanning on selling our house in Patchogue, and realized we hadn't serviced our cesspool the entire time I've owned the house, over 10 years (I know, I know, bad homeowner!). Plus we had just had a small sinkhole open up in our backyard which we thought might be related. So we asked our neighbors who had had some work done in the last year or so, and they highly recommended ClearRiver Environmental. The only negative, I would say, was that the scheduling was a little vague. They said "We might be able to fit you in sometime this weekend. We'll call you later with a two-hour window, and then give you another call when the crew is 30min away." No call ever came, so I placed another call to follow up later in the week. They were able to give a definite date and time window during that call, so we were all good. Brian and Hector came at the scheduled time. They were polite, knowledgeable, and got right to work. We had an unusual problem which took some time to get to the bottom of, but they were diligent in their investigation and wouldn't leave until they'd gotten to the bottom of it. Our heads were spinning a little with the possibility of having to replace our whole system to the tune of a few thousand dollars, but it turned out that all we needed was a patch where the pre-fab cesspool had ruptured. They couldn't do the job right then and there, which was understandable because they weren't really equipped for that service, but got us all scheduled for an estimate on the spot. The very reasonable fee they charged for coming out and diagnosing the problem is going to come off of the cost of the patch job, so it was basically a free visit, which is extremely generous. THEN, later the very same day, our cesspool started overflowing. We got right back on the phone with them. Paula helped us schedule an emergency visit for the very next day. John came out, even though it was Father's Day, and it was his first as a new father :). And just like Brian and Hector, he was extremely polite, professional, and wouldn't leave until the problem was solved. We again found that the solution was simpler than the dreaded full system replacement, and this time, they didn't charge us at all. Extremely generous. Great company. Great people. 10/10 can't recommend enough.

As new homeowners, my husband and I really didn't know what to look for when actually LOOKING at insulation before buying our house - and boy, did we pay for it this (our 1st) winter. Regular insulation was used under our home and what we now see is a lot of it looks old, some newly added by the previous homeowner, and some downright decrepit. With the freezing blowing wind (or who are you kidding, even wind at 50 degrees) coming from under our home, our 1st floor was freezing. The drafts coming in from all angles was absolutely insane, and I worried about my poor little puppy as he slept in his crate on that very cold floor (we kept him warm of course). That said, we were referred to Rocket and, just after a handful of hours, I can already feel a difference in our home. On top of that, they were beyond professional, courteous, cleaned up every inch of any mess they made - and worked quickly and efficiently. I can't wait to now do my attic as well! We also worked with Mary Anne beforehand who came to measure our home and give us a quote - she's been so easy to work with, always answering any of my questions quickly, and just all in all if you want a good (great) company for your insulation needs (or waterproofing - or anything else they do) I would absolutely recommend Rocket. I don't know them personally, I'm just that pleased. Thank you Mary Anne and Rocket!!
